So it's the Green Rainmaker that's supposed to be Acid Storm? Crap. That means my friend Lady Tecuma and I are going to have to change the name of one of our Rainmakers in our fan fiction. We named the green one "Stormbringer" in honour of the comic series, which if you ask me is a hell of a lot more creative than "Acid Storm". Camo jets

To help settle the question of whether Acid Storm's camo is a reference to anything, I've found pics of the three camo-jet TFs I know about:

Unproduced G2 Ramjet

Unproduced G2 somebody

MW Thundercracker

And here's Acid Storm.

If I had to say who's closest... I'd go with probably MW Thundercracker. But that's still quite the stretch. Certainly for the purposes of the article, I don't think we should identify it a reference to any one of them.
