The Jointrons use their cool—and kidnapping skills—to help Bighorn woo Scylla.
Synopsis

In the ocean surrounding the Sea Continent, the Jointrons are speeding along towards land. Ever since Lio Convoy and his men returned to the North Continent, they have been bored out of their minds and have travelled thousands of miles in search of enemies to fight. They spot Bighorn on a crag, whining yet again about his inability to be with his "Squid Lady". DJ, Gimlet, and Motorarm reveal themselves to the Maximal and are filled in about the current situation from Bighorn's biased view. The three leap at the chance for love to blossom and offer to assist Bighorn in his romance...
At the Galvaburg II floating by the Seacons' photon sailer, Starscream suggests taking advantage of the Seacons' inability to take off to make a deal with them. With Galvatron's approval, Starscream meets with Halfshell on the beach and offers a reward: one sheet of super death steel, to repair his ship, per Maximal defeated. Halfshell calls the Predacon out for being cheap, but Starscream, a better negotiator than Megastorm, appeals to Halfshell's desire to return to interstellar piracy, and the captain reluctantly accepts.

The Seacon ship sails off to find the Maximals and, aboard, Scylla begins her typical pining for Scuba while also berating Bighorn for being an idiot. Suddenly, a recorder hits her in the face; playing it, Scylla finds that it's a message beckoning her to meet at Tengu Cliff. Believing it to be from Scuba, Scylla's eyes start to water and she takes off. At the Moon, Artemis is a bit incredulous that Scuba would send Scylla an invitation, believing that she herself would be at the top of her crush's list. Moon points out that Scuba isn't just hers, but Artemis is still disbelieving of Scylla's assumption. At Tengu Cliff, Scylla doesn't meet her imagined beau, but the Jointrons in "disguise" as villains! They stuff her into a bag and run off to the rendezvous spot.

Bighorn, Diver, and Tasmania Kid race off to somewhere, the latter two believing that they'll get to the Seacons' ship. In actuality, Bighorn's plan with the Jointrons is to "rescue" Scylla from the bugs, gaining her respect and love. Artemis doesn't take well to this, believing romance is a more delicate thing than the Jointrons are equipped to handle. At the meeting spot, Scylla threatens her kidnappers with plenty of pain, and they're soon attacked by Starscream and BB, who were looking to see where one of the Seacons had run off to. Under fire, the Jointrons are forced to abandon the meeting spot and run off into the forest. Bighorn arrives just a moment too late and the Combatron duo takes the opportunity to shoot at the bull. Elsewhere, Tasmania Kid and Diver contact Lio Convoy and Apache about Bighorn's strange behavior; Lio Convoy orders the two to keep looking for their comrade, and NAVI informs the commander that communication was detected from Bighorn and the Jointrons, which does not put him at ease.
The Jointrons find a new rendezvous spot and tell Bighorn to meet them there. But it isn't secure, as Sea Phantom and Terrormander are in search of Scylla and come across the Jointrons. Not recognizing the trio, they decide to just capture them in the hopes that they'll fetch the Seacons some moolah. The Jointrons understandably freak out and use a smokescreen to hide their movement to another location. However, errant fire has made a hole in Scylla's bag and the two Seacons quickly recognize their shipmate. Bighorn, still rushing to the second meeting spot, is informed that the Jointrons had to move elsewhere. NAVI picks up on this and confirms to Lio Convoy that Bighorn is in communication with the Jointrons; Lio Convoy orders all of his present troops to assemble.

At the third meeting spot, Scylla keeps up her threats and the revelation that she's one of the Seacons comes as a surprise to the bugs, who thought she was a "princess" from another planet all along thanks to Bighorn's slanted narrative. Their misconception corrected, they decide to take the dreaded pirate to Lio Convoy for credit, dropping their promise to Bighorn. They soon run into trouble when both the Combatrons and the Seacons spot and box them in. A missile from BB makes DJ lose his grip and Scylla goes tumbling down the nearby cliff. Left with no options, the Jointrons fire back at both Seacon and Predacon. At the bottom of the cliff, Bighorn gets smacked in the face by the tumbling Scylla and his flower bouquet for Scylla is ruined. Not realizing that his object of affection is inside the bag, a furious Bighorn headbutts the sack and Scylla is freed. Angry about her miserable day and blaming Bighorn, the Seacon attacks and the Maximal refuses to fight against his obsession.

Halfshell and Coelagon sail by in their ship and notice the intense fighting going on between the Jointrons and the others. Seeing that all of the Seacons have gathered, the Jointrons decide to capture them all for credit and merge into Tripledacus. Not impressed with their triple combination, Halfshell orders the assembled Seacons to form God Neptune. The two combiners duel with their swords and the Combatrons, while impressed by the confrontation, provide some assistance in the form of firepower. Fortunately for Tripledacus, Lio Convoy and his troops have arrived and send God Neptune falling into the sea and the Combatrons into retreat. Nearby, Tasmania Kid and Diver drag the dazed and depressed Bighorn back.
At the end of the day, the Jointrons yet again claim another victory for themselves and are soon confronted by Bighorn, who's angry that they didn't keep to their promise. The trio just shrug it off and go off into the ocean, looking for more adventure.
Artemis & Moon II Report
Artemis thinks about how hard it must be to triple or quintuple combine. Moon explains that while the Jointrons' combination doesn't have as many members, it is complex in that their bodies are more integrated as Tripledacus. God Neptune, on the other hand, uses a robot as the central component while the other Seacons serve as limbs. Artemis ponders which one is stronger and wants to see the two face off. Moon says that she'll just have to wait and see.
