Movie Jolt vs Movie Jolt
Sorry if the post about Jolt not being confused with the previously released Jolt wasn't a good one... Just thought it was sort of a unique case that should be addressed, what with there being two movie Jolts, and unlike the 2007 one which didn't appear in any movies and has since been changed to a different character, also not appearing in the movies, the new Jolt is in the movie. I know that's what disambiguation is for, but I just thought it was an interesting bit of trivia that a movie character's name was already used in the movieverse, though for a different character. (not including the whole movie Arcee thing) -Cliffjumper Prime
Megatron joke
The monsters in MMPR always started out human-sized. Then, at some point, Rita throws her staff down from the Moon shouting "Make my monster grow!". The staff lands in the ground and energy shoots out of it, making the monster enormous. The laser effects around Megatron's cannon in that picture look a lot like the staff. Here is a YouTube clip of it: [1]. Honestly, it's not a big deal to me, but the old joke doesn't really make any sense in the first place. It seems to be a premature ejaculation joke to go along with his cannon firing, but it's not like there's anybody else in the picture for the innuendo to be complete. I think the observation our anonymous editor made about the resemblance to the staff is actually pretty clever. A rare instance of somebody changing a joke for the better, IMO. --Steve-o 16:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
- Huzzah! I have a talk page now! Anyway, thanks for clearing it up... I didn't get the ressemblance of Bandora's staff to the laser blast effects of Megatron's cannons... At least I understood the previous joke, wasn't all that funny but it made sense without the explanation. -Detour 16:54, 21 August 2007 (UTC)
Revert Revert
Slaggit! This is like, the fourth time this has happened to me. I SPECIFICALLY checked with a preview when I was about to make the reversion, and it did NOT tell me any edits had been made since I'd started mine. Apologies for the confusion and annoyance, but I am definitely not doing this on purpose...--Apcog 23:39, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- No worries. I know it wasn't your fault. I'm pretty sure this happened to me at least once as well. --Detour 16:11, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. That actually makes me feel a lot better about it.--Apcog 16:23, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Hey, it's not uploaded anywhere anymore (but Don Murphy has no issues with us handing it around). I can send you the PDF, but I need your email. --FFN 22:42, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

Airazor caption
Hi. I was wondering what was wrong with the old caption for the Airazor photo.
- Essentially, there's nothing wrong with the toy so criticizing it like that is pointless. --Detour 08:29, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- Okay. I didn't think the caption was meant as a criticism of the toy. I thought it was meant to point out that though she was designed as a female figure, she didn't really turn out looking any more female than any other Transformer (excluding Arcee and Thunderblast). But humor is subjective, and what I find somewhat funny might not seem funny at all to someone else.
- Airazor was designed as a male figure. The toy/character only became female on the insistence of the show writers. --Monzo 09:15, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
- We're talking about the caption for the Transmetal figure. I thought that one was designed from the start to be female.
- ... oh! Did not realize. Sorry. Ignore me. --Monzo 09:51, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Blurr
He is known to be a member, which should be enough, but he is also known to appear again later in the season, both through the footage from Dubai and the teasers released on the blog. That's why I said that I believed that it ws exception enough if he wasn't a member, it wouldn't need to be moved, but both together seem to be compelling enough.KrytenKoro 16:56, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- Look at your talk page, anything Dubai-related should not be discussed here in any capacity. We are not gloryhounds like Seibertron trying to be the first ones to announce every single giant spoiler of every single piece of media. --Detour 19:49, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
- That's great, but that's not what I am trying to say. He was announced as a character a while ago, before Dubai, and on one of the creator blogs. He's known to be in the Elite Guard, and we even know who his American voice actor is. We've even had him make his first appearance. Dubai just confirmed an episode he reappears in. That's all I'm trying to say - that we know he's in the guard, and we have confirmation from various sources of a future appearance. Hell, that we've listed his voice actor should be confirmation enough.
- And I didn't make the edit to spread spoilers - I did it to add info to a wiki, when the info is confirmed. Yes, we should not be obsessed with news, but neither should we put blinders on and wait until info is months or years old. (Hyperbole, but you get my point)KrytenKoro 22:05, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
Rabbicrater Edits
Just FYI, the edits HooperX made were capitalizing on the fact that Rabbicrater looks like his name contains the word "rabbi", when in fact it's meant to be most of the word "rabbit". The caption gag of "L'chaim" thus becomes more obvious, though I like the current one better. As for the miscellaneous trivia, I think it's an attempt at a callback to one of the final scenes from the Mel Brooks film History of the World, Part 1. So not TOTAL nonsense.--Apcog 14:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, well I don't know much about Judaism so "L'chaim" is kind of flying over my head right now (and I believe even if explained, the Yaoi Kiss Players joke will still be funnier)... And the misc trivia, well History Of The World Part 1 is one of the Mel Brooks films I have not yet had the pleasure of watching... Even then, it's kind of out of place in the same paragraph as the info about the rabbit on the moon... if Hooper wants to bring it back I would suggest he add another asterisk paragraph to point it out... --Detour 15:11, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- Long story short, a robot with the word "Rabbi" in his name, even if it actually has to do with "rabbit" is ripe for Judaism gags. "L'Chaim!" is a traditional exclamation of celebration. Originally, I was just gonna put the lyrics to Hava Nagila up there, but hey. The Kiss Players thing I had to stop and stare at - the two dudes humping are kind of cut out of the frame. But hey, whatever. -hx 15:15, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- FWIW, "L'chaim" is a traditional Hebrew version of "Cheers!" and literally means "To life!" I'm up for ethnic humor as much as the
nextprevious guy, but I still find the KP gag funnier in this case. The thought of "Hava Negila" lyrics as a caption does make me grin, though...--Apcog 16:05, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Real Gear hairdryer
Good you took that out for now, I was just too exited to post a unreleased toy for the Movie line, so I did not stop to check if it was real or not. I'm currently looking for more info on it and will put that back up once I found proof. Mayhem Suppression Squad
Hello ^^ I removed the Category: Shattered Glass characters from the Mayhem Suppression Squad members because Category:Mayhem Suppression Squad is already under Category: Shattered Glass characters. Just like Killbison only under Category:Breastforce which is contained by Combiners, Decepticons, and Victory characters. --TX55TALK 00:49, 22 April 2009 (EDT)

Howdy! I saw the Bumblebee & Jazz pretender models. Do you happen to have higher resolution versions of these images that you'd be willing to share with me? Do you have any more images from this era? (The Ark III needs your help!) --Jimsorenson 21:04, 23 April 2009 (EDT)

Man, just let it go. We're trying to make the trivia sections smaller, y'know.--RosicrucianTalk 22:00, 4 June 2009 (EDT)
No! Much, much bigger! I'm good with keeping the Poochie theme for SL: Drift's page, but we really, really gotta get a reference to Rurouni Kenshin on a Drift image somewhere down the line! I can't imagine McCarthy not having Kenshin in some corner of his mind when he was creating Drift. "Oh man, he'll be an ex-assassin, with a dark past he regrets, and he carries a special sword! AWESOME!" --Nu-Priest 16:20, 17 June 2009 (EDT)
Vandalism?
Thanks for fixing my page, I appreciate it. Apparently Mr. Anon didn't take too kindly from me having to up and leave his little "discussion". People gotta go do other things besides argue with somebody on the other side of the computer all day. So do you know how severe punishment is for vandalizing someone's User Page?---AWT88 22:15, 4 June 2009 (EDT)
- In this case, I'm inclined to believe it was a simple accident. The guy isn't really all that wiki savvy, and may have just clicked on your sig and thought it was your talkpage. He's... well, I don't hold any illusions he's going to be a productive user here, but he's on a dynamic IP and isn't outright harmful so I'm not sure what a block would accomplish.--RosicrucianTalk 22:17, 4 June 2009 (EDT)
- True, I didn't take that into account. I tend to jump to the vandalism claim (or any claim honestly) a little too gung-ho sometimes, and this is one of those times.--AWT88 22:27, 4 June 2009 (EDT)
- S'okay. I mean, I'd be lying if I said my cursor didn't hover over the block button on him while I thought about it. Trouble is his two IPs so far don't even seem to share a common subnet, so even an IP range ban wouldn't be viable. If he becomes genuinely abusive lemme know and I'd be happy to play whack-a-mole with his IPs.--RosicrucianTalk 22:31, 4 June 2009 (EDT)

Ze little one
"The identity of ze little one is a bit on the fraught side. In the flyover shot of the barge on which the four Constructicons sit, a red bulldozer (Rampage), a concrete mixer (Mixmaster), a dump truck (Long Haul) and a yellow front-end loader are visible. The yellow front-end loader is the alternate mode of the Constructicon Scrapper, and ze little one's robot mode appears to be the same as Scrapper's. As such, the temptation to just consider this a Scrapper unit is great... except that, after the flyover shot, the yellow loader disappears, and is replaced with a yellow Volvo excavator, clearly marked with a large Decepticon insignia. For the purposes of reducing headaches, we're assuming that the excavator is the "correct" vehicle mode, and that it just happens to transform into a robot mode that resembles Scrapper...even though it's not him. "
I wasn't aware of the decision that had reached on the "Ze little one" page, so I didn't realize that this was the reasoning being used. I can agree with this, and I'm sorry the discussion got so hostile. Have a great week.KrytenKoro 00:30, 16 July 2009 (EDT)
SG Ark & SG Nemesis
I'd just have Derik's bot fix those links along with the rest. I only fixed the others because there was about 2-3 links each instead of the 60+ for those two pages. --Jeysie 16:32, 6 August 2009 (EDT)

TFA: S.P.'s amnesia
You completely sure about that? Seemed like a kind of joke to me - Wasp going through this whole list of humiliation and Sentinel denying it while keeping a straight face. EDIT: sorry for double posting, my browser's acting a little strange Silvery 13:26, 25 August 2009 (EDT)
- Except Sentinel finishes the scene by saying "Wait a minute, that was you?" He genuinely doesn't remember, only recalling it then and there. - Chris McFeely 13:27, 25 August 2009 (EDT)
- Oookay, my bad. Seems like his ego is powerful enough to erase memories of minor, non-significant beings like Wasp, Bee or Bulky... Silvery 13:45, 25 August 2009 (EDT)
Deaths of Optimus Prime "fanon"
That... wasn't fanon. It was more awkwardly phrased, but consistent with how it was portrayed in the episode. Aerialbots even say, to my recollection, that there are "others at the hanger." Elita-1 was rebuilt. Dion wasn't mentioned. What part of that is fanon, and why did that give you the right to allcaps that dude into submission for it? --ItsWalky 00:17, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
- Well it explicitly said in the anon guy's contribution way back there that "Ariel and Dion were also rebuilt" (followed by an awkward parenthesis saying Ariel at least). Plus, the episode itself is awkwardly phrased... Slingshot says "There are others back at the hangar, his girlfriend Ariel" as though he actually meant to say "there's another one back at the hangar, his girlfriend Ariel". After Orion is rebuilt as Prime, there's no concern for any "others" and they only speak of Ariel, whom Alpha Trion says he'll "send droids out for". No mention at all that he'd rebuild other casualties of the hangar massacre. --Detour 00:32, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
- Another interpretation: Slingshot says "There are others back at the hangar, [for example] his girlfriend Ariel." Otherwise, he's not being correct when he says there are "otherS" there. Plural. I'm not saying that Alpha Trion rebuilt anybody other than Prime and Elita, or that we have any evidence thereof. I'm saying what the guy wrote, in that particular revision, was technically correct. --ItsWalky 01:50, 6 October 2009 (EDT)

sorry about the starscream page, but did you really have to edit out everything I did? Masterman555 22:54, 21 October 2009 (EDT)
- Well, yeah. You screwed up the formatting and the order of figures in the toy section, messed with captions and changed all the thumbnails to ungodly huge sizes. It's pretty standard procedure to undo that. --Detour 23:14, 21 October 2009 (EDT)
