- For the original draft of The Transformers: The Movie and several revisions, there was going to be only one humanoid Autobot Mini-Cassette, who was going to be called Bolts?[1][2]
- Between the original draft and actual product, Bolts's role was split in two? Bolts was supposed to fight Ravage, which Rewind ended up doing in the movie (Blaster dealt the described kick though). Bolts's attitude and tussle with Frenzy went to Eject.
