  • Of course, the story picks up with the Lost Bots attempting to get back into the other bots' good graces after breaking The Sacred Rule of the Mall in the previous episode, as will be the focus of the remainder of the season.

Real-world references

  • The BotBots attempting to achieve video fame was clearly inspired by the craze surrounding short-form video platforms like Vine and TikTok.
  • As Dimlit says, everyone does love videos with challenges in them. Some prominent real-world examples include the Ice Bucket Challenge and the Cinnamon challenge.
  • The game Bonz-Eye plays in her BotVid is based on the VR game Beat Saber.
  • Clogstopper's video is framed in the style of an anti-depressant advertisement, including the exensive, quickly-spoken list of potentially harmful side-effects.

  • Spud Muffin gives a shoutout to all his "bros, bro-ettes, and various bro-dentities". He may be a meat grease-head, but at least he's an inclusive grease-head.
  • One of the bots briefly seen watching the Sprinkleberry video is an unnamed female cannoli-bot. It's unclear which character (if any) this is meant to be. Perhaps Disgusto Desserto cleaned herself up?
