• When Vector Prime was asked about his "mustache" and if he needed to shave it (during the first addition of Ask Vector Prime) he answered by saying that it only his face articulation that he was seeing and wasn't actually a mustache.

• Minimus Ambus refers to the mustache he and Dominus both share as the facial insignia of the House of Ambus, providing at least some explanation as to why facial hair exists in the IDW continuity.
