Jordan is a country on Earth, located in the Middle East near Egypt. It is ruled by the King of Jordan and has a Minister of something.

Revenge of the Fallen film

Around 17,000 B.C.E., the Dynasty of Primes hid the Matrix of Leadership in a tomb made of their shells in what would one day be Petra, located in Jordan. The Fallen dispatched the Seekers to locate the Matrix, but they were unsuccessful, only finding a single clue: "When dawn alights the Dagger's Tip, Three Kings will reveal the doorway."

In 2009 A.D., General Morshower of the United States military instructed his subordinates to ask the government of Jordan to dispatch helicopters to discover what was going on near [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Aqaba|{{#if:||Aqaba}}]], while they flew their own Predator drone to the location. The answer: the human-Autobot joint task force NEST was engaged in a fire fight with the Decepticons, and they were losing badly. Unfortunately, the two helicopters were then shot down by Long Haul and Megatron when they strayed too close to the Great Pyramid of Giza before they could report back. Seymour Simmons and Leo Spitz managed to pull the crew members out of one of the helicopters, with Simmons using a radio from the Jordanians to contact the Captain Wilder of the U.S.S. John C.
