In their everlasting quest to win the war, Cybertronians are using any means to develops their bodies into living weapons, this results into them having a third mode out side of their Robot and Alt modes that is armed to the teeth for maximum attack and defense. It is primarily reserved for huge transformers that are or aren't necessary Titans by definition and it put's them with the ability to Triple Change.
The Zodiac also serves as their deus-ex machina
Sometimes for Autobot leaders, their trailers can form a base mode for their liking.
Distinguish what is a Base Mode and an Attack Mode, if not, reconcile both
