Optimus Prime is the newly appointed and mighty leader of the Autobots. Although prone to the occasional quip or witty remark, inside his chassis beats the spark of a truly kind and selfless 'bot. After becoming stranded on the strange Cyberworld, he is doing his best to find allies and decipher the true nature of his situation.

Optimus Prime awoke to the voice of Bumblebee telling him to stop doing something before crash-landing into a jungle in Cyberworld. Getting to his feet, he noticed his HUD had updated as he began investigating this new world. Optimus ventured into a nearby desert where he found an Autobot ship, however, he got ambushed by Scorponok before he could reach it. Optimus attempted to de-escalate the situation, but alas, it was not meant to be and Scorponok attacked anyway, forcing Optimus to flee.

Upon retreating back to the jungle, a block of energon appeared in front of Optimus. When he touched it, he absorbed the energon and his new level stat increased. Optimus did not have much time to process this as soon after, a furious Grimlock emerged from the foliage. Optimus once again tried and failed to de-escalate the situation as Grimlock assaulted him and gave chase. Eventually, Optimus escaped by diving between the heads of a double-headed tree which Grimlock was too big to fit through. As Optimus was leaving, he noticed another Autobot ship falling from the sky and determined it to contain Bumblebee, but Grimlock was quick to free himself and Optimus had to trap him in a vine before heading off to find his friend. Commence Program Optimus found Bumblebee just after the yellow bot had been betrayed and shot by Megatron. Prime Target

Optimus and Bumblebee were discussing ways to get past Scorponok when they noticed a crate drop in the distance and decided to take a closer look. Unfortunately for them, Grimlock and Snarl also wanted a piece of that upgrade pie. After a brief fight against the two Dinobots, Optimus and Bumblebee managed to claim the crate and drove off their adversaries using their newly-found Energon-axe and wrist-mounted blaster. While walking along the river through the jungle, Optimus and Bee's path was crossed an energy tunnel hosting a competition between Elita-1 and Sky-Byte. They intervened to help their comrade, but this punished Elita-1 by awarding the win to Sky-Byte and draining her of her energon, which she proceeded to chew Optimus out for. Optimus tried to negotiate with the Decepticon for a peaceful solution to their stand-off, but he was not in the mood for listening, and pinned him to a boulder with an energy harpoon. The three Autobots were able to drive him off, Elita-1 offered to assist them in getting a weapon strong enough to surpass Scorponok, if they would help her get revenge. River Race Ruckus
