The Maximal Army Central Headquarters (サイバトロン軍中央本部 Cybertron Gun Chūbō Honbu) is the planetary center of the Maximal army. They have a bad habit of not doing anything if their troops go missing.

Maximal HQ contacted the Convoy Unit stationed at the Maximal Space Station to check on an energy anomaly on Gaia. The New Forces Arrive!

The Jointrons were sent to Trius by Headquarters. They ended up crash-landing on Gaia and wanted to inform HQ immediately, but decided to go after the Predacons first when a magnetic storm in space made contact impossible. The Combined Giant, Tripledacus After having captured two Combatrons, the Jointrons tried to contact HQ, but the recently patched-up controls at the campsite couldn't put them through. When later proper repairs were made, the magnetic storm still prevented contact. The Festive Jointrons While waiting for the magnetic storm to end, the Jointrons set up the "Jointron Corner", a puppet show to sing their own praises to be taped and given to HQ at a later date. After returning to the Yukikaze, Apache lamented that the magnetic storm was still going strong because it would've been really useful to contact Maximal HQ and ask for additional troops.
