I hope nobody minds me linking to the explanation of fridging. As much as I'm liking this series, that got on my tiny tits Wallace Sage 23:55, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
D'OOOH!!
Surprise surprise, another Arcee toy cancelled. I'm beginning think Hasbro's designers might have some horrid sexuality issues. --86.87.28.191 17:11, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- All you've shown is that preorders are canceled. This is often done when the release date changes.--RosicrucianTalk 17:12, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- It is also done when a cartoon and toyline are canceled. ;) -Derik 17:45, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- And the happy/wink smiley because...? - SanityOrMadness 17:49, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- Because it's not just a river in Egypt. -Derik 17:52, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- And now we have confirmation that the toy will be produced. Don't we feel silly now?--RosicrucianTalk 18:36, 30 May 2009 (EDT)

- Which the link provided does not indicate. Hasbro has made the investment in the tooling of this figure and at present we only know that it will not make its existing release date. I mean come on, we don't go crazy over scoops otherwise, why should the wiki compromise its principles here?--RosicrucianTalk 17:53, 21 May 2009 (EDT)

We need an "Unproduced Arcee toys" article. -Derik 18:07, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- 1: They are long past their release date. 2: Not even a leaked sample yet (which i know, we wouldn't acknowldge anyway, but that's beside the point), and 3: The preceding wave's cancellation also turned out to be not just about pre-orders.--86.87.28.191 18:18, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- 4: Hasbro promotional photos and an official press release/solicit for the figure. Which in this case is the only thing that matters. We are not great internet detectives piecing together some sort of conspiracy, and we are generally much more conservative than most of the news sites regarding what we consider an admissible source.--RosicrucianTalk 19:28, 21 May 2009 (EDT)
- How did we ever source all the other cancelled toys on the wiki, then? Does Hasbro ever come out and outright say that toys have been cancelled? Or is it sort of a, "Well, it's been n years since the toy was supposed to come out, safe to call it cancelled now" sort of thing?
- Plus... if people are receiving e-mails from the TFCC, isn't the fanclub usually considered an official source? --Jeysie 08:25, 22 May 2009 (EDT)
- Little of Column A, little of Column B. Word from Hasbro that a toy is canceled is usually sufficient. In older cases, enough time has elapsed that the leaked info is no longer considered damaging -- say, after a franchise completes its run. -- Repowers 18:40, 30 May 2009 (EDT)
- Of course, in this particular case the news was premature.--RosicrucianTalk 18:42, 30 May 2009 (EDT)

Thumb Issue
I've heard reports that the thumbs on the Arcee toy break pretty easily. I haven't seen any wear on mine, but I been treating it very delicately. I guess it should be held from the page until more solid verifcation is seen, but I do think people should be warned to be careful with the toy anyway. Riddlerj 22:08, 20 March 2010 (EDT)
