Gul, Noji, Zamu and Gra had the studio to themselves, and Gul was getting uppity. Gora suddenly spoke to the group as a disembodied voice, terrifying the lot of them. Phantom Transformation! Mind-Diving Gul took to complaining about the interruption only for Gora to show up in person as "Gora II". Ignoring Gul's frantic apologizing, he ordered Noji, Zamu and Gra to combine into the Energon Sniper Combo Weapon and used it to shoot the beaky birdy-bot. Counterattack Transformation! The Resurrection of Megatron! Next, Gora II led an attack on the self-proclaimed Autobot Micron idol, Arc, but was left cowering in fear as she combined with every other Autobot Arms Micron, forming a huge mass of guns. Phantom Transformation! Skyquake Returns
Toys
Prime
- Megatron (Deluxe, 3-31-2012)
- Set ID number: AM-05
- Micron ID number: M-05
- Energon Crystal: HP Natural
- Available only with his larger partner Megatron in Japan, Gora comes as an unassembled, unpainted "kit". He transforms from a gorilla-like robot into Megatron' fusion cannon, complete with swing-out blade-halves. Though his mounting point on Megatron's arm is a simple thin slot that fits around a tab on the forearm, that section can swing around to reveal a 5mm post. He is covered in similar 5mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to combine with other Microns to form bigger and more ridiculous "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons".
- Despite being made for the "deluxe" Megatron, Gora's cannon mode is actually pretty close to accurate scale for the Voyager class Megatron toy.
- Shadow Gora (Promotional Micron, 4-28-2012)
- Energon Crystal: HP Fake Dark
- A transparent-black version of Gora with a red Energon Crystal was made available on April 28 at participating Joshin and Bic Camera stores with the purchase of 3000 yen's worth of Prime toys. Just like the pack-in version, Shadow Gora comes as an unassembled kit. Unlike normal Gora, this version has no stickers save the one that fits under his Energon Crystal.
- Speaking of, the change in Crystal colors means that while Shadow Gora can be physically substituted into any Super Combo weapon featuring normal Gora, it will no longer technically be a Super Combo Weapon.
- Megatron Darkness (Voyager, 2012)
- Set ID number: AM-15
- Micron ID number: M-15
- Energon Crystal: HP Dark
- Available only with his larger partner Megatron and fellow Arms Micron Hades, "Gora II" comes as an unassembled, unpainted "kit". Like his previous incarnation, he transforms from a gorilla-like robot into a replica of Megatron's fusion cannon, only this version is brighter purple, a bit larger, and lacks the the swing-out blade portions.
- Due to his increase in size, Gora II will not work with some of the more intricate Micron weapon combinations.
Notes

- Gora's name is a shortening of "gorilla", accomplished by dropping the middle syllable from the Japanese spelling of the word, turning gorira (ゴリラ) into gora (ゴラ). Rendering it in English as "Gora" loses this intention somewhat; if you were trying to preserve the intent in English, he'd be the rather silly-sounding "Golla".
- TakaraTomy's stock photography of Gora shows an earlier sculpt with a less-detailed face that reminded many fans of Animated Lugnut. The final product, as seen above, is considerably more gorilla-like. Also note the blade-halves are much pointier on the prototype than the retail version.
