Arms Micron Theater

Arms Micron Theater (アームズマイクロン劇場 Arms Micron Gekijō) is one of two supplemental segments added to the Japanese version of the Transformers: Prime cartoon (the second being From the Cybertron Satellite, Transformers Division). Arms Micron Theater was directed by Akira Hamada, organized by Hamada and Shinjurō Yuri, and animated by HiWaPlus.
Its main purpose is to promote the Arms Microns available with Japanese Prime toys. Each minute-long-or-so segment is a (cheaply) CGI-animated wacky micro-adventure, taking place in the Microns' studio/living room in Tateishi, Japan. Virtually all of the Microns talk, including the animal-form Decepticon Microns, who hang out there with (more or less) no real conflict with the Autobots.
For the first five episodes, Arms Micron Theater was the final segment before the closing credits. In episode 6, it moved to before Cybertron Satellite and remained there until the end of the show.

- Episode 30
- Because of Bumblebee's missing T-cog, B.2 is unable to get out of Bumblebee's arm and calls O.P. and R.A. for help. Disturbingly his plan is for them to cut Bumblebee's arm open, something both the Microns and Bumblebee loudly protest against. Unable to Transform!? SOS Bumblebee
- Episode 31
- The Arms Microns hold a fun weapon-linking event with B.2 to celebrate the fact that he's out and about again. Just as it becomes O.P.'s turn, B.2 gets a call from Raf and takes off, leaving R.A. to offer a depressed O.P. a pity-combination. Brave Transformation! The Surgeon's Decision
Cast
Notes
- Microns of the in-show speaking characters are voiced by their larger partner's voice actor/actress, only "wackier"-sounding.
- Due to the addition of the two promo segments, as well as a considerably longer title sequence and end credits, each primary episode of Prime has had approximately three minutes of content removed for time constraints. These edits are mostly intuitive and unobtrusive so as not to harm the coherency of the narrative.
