... who put Rampage in a category called Maxinals? --Rotty 22:35, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Some dumbass, no doubt. (Psssst: See a typo, fix a typo.) --KilMichaelMcC 02:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
But Maxinals could have been a group from BotCon Japan fiction or something! --Rotty 02:28, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Does being created by a Maximal experiment really make him a Maximal, though? From my understand, he was psychotic from the get-go; he likely would've been disowned by them shortly after his activation. - Dark T Zeratul 11:22, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
I reckon that being a psychotic Maximal who is also a Maximal serial killer and cannibal does not make him not a Maximal. Blue Spider 21:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Whoever it was, he's not in that category anymore. - Dark T Zeratul 22:42, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

It depends on whether you think the factions are based on common origins or common beliefs, and what really counts as switching factions. Neither Rampage nor Quickstrike were ever reprogrammed into being Predacons, in the manner Blackarachnia and Inferno were; rather, QS' personality fit one group better than the other and Rampage was enslaved. Is Rampage more a Predacon than, say, Flame was an Autobot? --Thylacine 2000 20:05, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

I think the following words appear in the article before would be a little bit odd, so I moved here.

For some fans, they believe it(referring the way of Rampage's body was built) is the reason why Rampage appeared as a mechanical crab after scanning is because his body was built by traditional technology instead of effected by Quantum surge. But this is merely an extrapolation.[citation needed] --TX55 01:59, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Main image pic

If we must quote Silence of the Lambs, please please please can it be any quote other than that? It causes me nerve pain. -Derik 03:14, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Images

I'm fine with the current main image; however, we really ought to have at least one pic somewhere in the fiction section that shows his entire body in clear light. -- Repowers 15:56, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Broken gobox

I just noticed that like Bumblebee Blast, this page's gobox shows up blank when included using the gobox java widget[1]. --abates 23:33, 5 May 2010 (EDT)

What kind of crab is Rampage?

Is there a reference for his being a king crab? King crabs as a family include a great many genera. I've also seen him referred to as a coconut crab, including on Wikipedia, which makes sense given that he was found in a swamp.

According to really old insider reports from Ben Yee, Rampage's pre-release name was "King Crab." I've never heard of any official source calling him a coconut crab, and suspect that is just another bit of Wikipidiocy. --Thylacine 2000 22:38, 25 April 2011 (EDT)

Honored member?

When Megatron gives Rampage his name at the end of "Bad Spark", and welcomes him into the fold, he states that Rampage "shall be an honored member", possibly the only time Megatron uses the "H"-word without disgust. I interpreted that statement as Megatron acknowledging that the honor comes from Protoform X being given the name of one of the original Predacons, especially since there isn't anything about the rest of the scene that comes off as honorable. Just curious if anyone else ever saw it that way; I suppose it wouldn't be worthy to note such speculation in the main article unless we had input from the show staff on the matter. Kyojikasshu (talk) 12:44, 17 March 2014 (EDT)

That's not the meaning of "honor" Megatron was using in that sentence. He's just saying that Rampage will be a valued part of the Predacons. Mimi (talk) 13:00, 17 March 2014 (EDT)

Toys

In the toys section I noticed that it states that the rarer silver headed and chest version was a later revision, but it was actually the other way around. I own both version of Rampage, and on the first version it has the silver accents on his head and chest instead of gold. Also the first releases of Rampage was originally in a larger box with a slightly different UPC code. I have my boxed figures in storage, but from memory the originals ended with 00 and the more common running changes end with 01. The 00 ones only existed in the store for a blink of an eye. I say the only saw one release before they replaced them with the more common 01 revision cases.
