Scavenger is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family (via the 2008 Universe line).

Universe Scavenger is a redeco of Classics Overbite, transforming into a robotic wolf. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx" socket one each beast-mode flank that allow him to attach to larger toys with compatible Powerlinx plugs.

He was only available as part of a Mini-Con ten-pack, along with Windrazor, Ransack, Stockade, Overcharge, Sky Shadow, Longview, Snow Cat, Treadshot, and Crosshairs. This set was only available at certain retailers, notably Kmart and Meijer in the U.S., Canadian Tire in Canada, and Tesco in the UK. He was also avaiable in Spain's El Corte Inglês department stores.
