Mrs. Rubio's pregnancy caused her husband to be distracted. The Other Doctor Mrs. Rubio's stroller escaped her grip and sped away down a street past Heatwave and Kade Burns. Before they could catch up with it, the stroller was stopped by a window-washer robot controlled by Vigil, who assured Mrs. Rubio that Elsie was safe. The Vigilant Town

The Rubios were having a picnic when their car suddenly flew off into the air without them. In Search of the Griffin's Nest When a massive storm hit the island, the Rubios and their children were trapped in their house by a downed power line. A rock slide on Old Canyon Road trapped Mrs. Rubio in her car, and she had to be rescued by Chase, Dani and Heatwave. When Cody Burns experienced repeating time, he was able to prevent Mrs. Rubio crashing her car into the side of the new clock tower.
