You Say Mika, I Say...

Just FYI, "Meeka" is a perfectly normal, standard pronunciation for the name Mika, and with my minimal viewing of Energon, I always assumed it to be the default pronunciation. A long-i sound would make it spelled "mica", as in the mineral, or perhaps the Biblical name Micah...which is a male name. Have they really been pronouncing it "my-kah" in other episodes? I assumed it was Mika due to the fact it's a japanese show, and in that case it doesn't matter to the writers that she was later revealed to be French or something. --FFN 03:30, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

The name isn't misspelled. On the show Scorponok's name is Scorpinok. Either that or David Kaye has a speech problem.Decepticon Rhinox 22:16, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, that's a David Kaye thing. He's been pronouncing it "Scorpinok" since Beast Wars (although in the case of Energon, it's more than likely he was working off some misspelled scripts at times, too). - Chris McFeely 22:19, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Name

"Included as "bonus episode" on Paramount's "Transformers: The Battle For Energon" release. Said DVD release lists the title of the episode as "Scorponok," correcting the aforementioned mistake in the name." I think the point Interro is making here is whether the title is corrected in the episode itself, or if it's just "listed" (as the trivia note describes) with the correct title, perhaps on the menu or packaging. - Chris McFeely 13:09, 26 January 2010 (EST)

By complete coincidence, I was at the house of a friend who has the DVD set this weekend, and took a moment to check. "Scorpinok" and "A Tale of Two Heros" are NOT corrected on the DVD, while "Improsened Inferno" and "Deception Army" are. All four are spelled correctly on the DVD sleeves and menus, but in the episodes themselves, only the latter two were actually corrected. - Chris McFeely 12:08, 3 January 2011 (EST)

Sureshock's name

I just watched this episode on The Hub site, and Kicker does say Sureshock's name in the dub. As he's leaving, he says, "Sureshock, vehicle mode." Sureshock then transforms to vehicle mode and Kicker rides her out of the place. C. V. Reynolds 12:50, 27 January 2011 (EST)
