:The original Ramjet toy is a retool of the Diaclone "Jet Robo Acrobat-Type" F-15 Eagle that was used for Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, with new wings that seem to be inspired by the prototype F-16XL, and new "Cluster Bombs". He is otherwise identical to the other Decepticon jets aside from color. Ramjet's robot mode stickers are the same design as Starscream's, but in different colors.
: Released in the second year of the original The Transformers toyline in its three major markets (US, Europe and Japan), the original Ramjet toy is a retool of the Diaclone "Jet Robo Acrobat-Type" F-15 Eagle that was used for Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, with new wings that seem to be inspired by the prototype F-16XL, and new "cluster bombs" (though his TFU profile states they are also laser beam rifles for his robot mode). Ramjet's robot mode stickers are the same design as Starscream's, but in different colors.

:In robot mode his official instructions have the user pulling down his nose cone to complete his head transformation, like Starscream. However, Ramjet's character model depicts him as having his head untransformed, leaving a distinctive "conehead" shape to his appearance. This trait is shared by Thrust and Dirge, leading many owners to do the same thing to differentiate the three later Decepticon jets from the three earlier ones.

: The Joustra version of Ramjet, released in parts of mainland Europe in 1986, has a number of small changes from the Hasbro/Takara version, most notably a hard-plastic nosecone (ouch!) and unchromed black landing gear wheels.

: Part of the very first assortment of Generation 2 product released just in time for the 1992 holiday season, Ramjet's original toy was redecoed into a striking purple and black, with turquoise highlights. His large bombs have been replaced with a new pair of spring-loaded missile launchers and long missiles; the launcher and missile molds were also used for his assortment-mate Starscream.

:Ramjet received a limited reissue as part of Takara's Collector's Edition series.  With no notable changes from the G1 release, Collector's Edition Ramjet was exclusively available at Jaf-Con 10 in July 2001, along with Thrust.
: Also new to this version is a large electronic "sound/light energy unit" in a kinda engine-gun-like shape (a mold also used by Starscream). Powered by a pair of watch batteries, pressing the two soft-plastic buttons up front activates flashing red lights and sound effects. The left button makes machinegun noises as long as you hold it down, while the right starts an unstoppable jet-noise sequence of rising then falling pitch; you can activate the machinegun sounds in the middle of it, and the jet noises will resume as soon as you release the gun button. This assembly doesn't really go anywhere in robot mode, but attaches to the back end of his jet mode thanks to a trio of pegs that were added to his tooling.

: Of note is the fact that his turquoise parts are extremely prone to "yellowing", or in this case "greening". Many Generation 2 Ramjets can be found with their blue parts in a greenish teal color.

:For the Generation 2 toyline, Ramjet was redecoed with the purple replacing white, black replacing burgundy, and sky blue replacing the original black, leaving him to appear as if he were Skeletor's personal aircraft. Still, he features new firing missile launchers and a sound effects box which is mounted above his engines. These parts were also used on the Generation 2 release of Starscream.
: This version of the mold would also have been used to make Generation 2 Sandstorm. It possibly would also have been used for a cloud camo-themed redeco.

:Classics Ramjet, following the trend set by his original Generation 1 toy, is a retool of Classics Starscream and transforms into a modified fighter jet based off the hull of an F-15 Eagle. The figure's deco is greatly simplified from Ramjet's G1 toy and cartoon decos, largely reducing the amount of black and red in favor of white. Aside from the different deco, changes from Starscream include a new nose cone/head, new F-16XL inspired wings and new projectiles for his missile launchers. The new missiles, combined with their launchers, result in a mash-up between his G1 toy's non-firing weapons and his animation model's standard-issue Seeker rifles. Unlike Starscream, his shoulder movement is unimpeded due to a lack of wings behind his shoulders.

:Ramjet's instructions neglect a couple of features on his toy; the wings can swivel back and forth and up and down in robot mode, to better balance the figure, and the circular air intakes on his chest can swivel out in either mode. The latter is used to form landing gear in his vehicle mode, as it was in both Starscream and Skywarp.

: Part of the fourth wave of Takara's Henkei! Henkei! Transformers toyline, Ramjet is a redeco of Classics Deluxe Class Ramjet. He features a significantly altered color scheme, generally to make the toy more closely resemble his appearance in the original cartoon. His wings and missiles are molded in bright red plastic instead of gray plastic with red paint, with his missiles painted gray. His hands and feet are molded in white plastic instead of gray, to match more closely the cartoon model.

:Despite the figure's appearance, Henkei! Ramjet features no gray plastic at all, only white or red plastic painted gray, meaning he is heavily painted and thus easily susceptible to paint chipping. Ramjet, like the other figures in the line, also features vacuum-metalized parts: his jet boosters and vertical stabilizers on his wings and his cockpit seat are chrome plated, though it is not uncommon for the innards of his jet boosters to be partially lacking the metalized coating.

:  Takara's United Ramjet is a yet another redeco of the Classics Ramjet mold, now even more bent towards his cartoon color layouts. :In 2017, the Collection 3 Micro-Changers were re-released in a whole new production run, first appearing at Walgreens stores in the U.S. These releases use the almost-entirely-retooled 2015 Kreon (making most parts incompatible with older Kreons), with slightly-differently-hued plastics than the originals. Ramjet's tampographs are slightly altered, changing the flat light gray to metallic silver.

: Masterpiece MP11NR Ramjet is, of course, a fairly hefty retool of Masterpiece MP-11 Starscream, with new wing molds attached to his legs. His head is part of the nosecone but not the whole part, and during transformation the cockpit's upper half needs to be rotated 180 degrees. To match the cartoon-accurate flatness of the undersides of the wings, the bottom parts of the black turbines can be lifted, rotated inside and closed, revealing a Decepticon symbol underneath. While he has the same null rays as Starscream, they can be socketed inside two-piece rocket parts to reproduce the original toy's wing-mounted cluster bombs.

:Masterpiece MP11NR Ramjet was revealed on the TakaraTomy Mall website in October 2015 as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive, the first Conehead retool of Masterpiece MP-11 Starscream. Later the same day, the listing disappeared before the preorder period started. The listing reappeared at the end of November, with preorders staying open from November 30 to December 8. It was limited to 2000 pieces in Japan.
: The pictures in the original October listings had the figure slightly mistransformed in jet mode (the nosecone was not fully closed) and featured the hologram pilot cast in orange plastic, while the updated pics from the November listing show the figure's nosecone correctly closed and the hologram pilot is now cast in clear plastic.

: Unfortunately, quality control problems with this figure are very commonplace, with seemingly a majority of specimens having a misassembly in the robot shoulders that prevents fully locking the wings together in jet mode.

: Released with Dirge in the Earthrise toyline as a 2-pack, Ramjet is a heavy retooling of Starscream from the same line, transforming into a modified F-15 fighter jet with cranked-arrow delta wings based on the F-16XL prototype like his original toy. As one of the Coneheads, Ramjet features a new headsculpt based on the original conehead design, though it is a faux piece not formed from the actual nosecone. Ramjet's face also features a stern, almost grimaced expression.

: The figure's design and transformation scheme is heavily based on the 2006 Classics Starscream mold (and its subsequent retool of Ramjet), while adding points of articulation the earlier figure did not have such as pivoting ankles and a more expressive ball-jointed head. His head, chest, and wings are susceptible to paint chipping due to the transformation scheme.

Ramjet's face also features a stern, almost grimaced expression.
: While the null-rays can be wielded by his pair of hands, it's almost impossible for him to properly hold them due to the size of his forearms. As with Dirge, Ramjet uses the same, unchanged null-ray blasters that came with Starscream. His stock photos show him slightly mis-transformed, with his feet splayed apart in jet mode.

:The figure's design and transformation scheme are heavily based on the 2006 Classics Starscream mold (and its subsequent retool of Ramjet), while adding points of articulation the earlier figure did not have such as pivoting ankles and a more expressive ball-jointed head. However, due to this, his torso is very hollow at the sides and his intended waist articulation was dropped due to the physical space required for transformation. His head, chest and wings are susceptible to paint chipping due to the transformation scheme.
: Like all other uses of the mold, Ramjet has a missing molded panel-line detail on the right wing hinge that is supposed to curve in towards the body of the jet. The reason for this missing detail is likely due to it missing from the metal mold itself. The plastic used for Ramjet's forearms has also been reported to yellow quickly.

: This pack was exclusive to Amazon in the United States and Canada, though it seems that demand for the characters outstripped supply—several customers later had their orders cancelled by Amazon due to a lack of available stock. While Dirge would later receive a reissue in the Legacy: Evolution line, Ramjet remained exclusive to this set until 2025.

"I have been bar hopping! Learning wild man fighting techniques from drunks so lost in the fog of their own mistakes that they can commune with devils that live on the periphery of suffering!"

As a Conehead Seeker, Ramjet less often receives a toy whenever Starscream does.

Toys

[edit]

The Transformers

[edit]

'Conehead' or 'Not Conehead'
  • Takara ID number: D-56
  • Accessories: 2 "cluster bombs", left & right fists, left & right wings, left & right tail fins, front landing gear
  • Known designers: Kōjin Ōno (TakaraTomy, original mold), Takayoshi Doi (TakaraTomy, new accessories)
Released in the second year of the original The Transformers toyline in its three major markets (US, Europe and Japan), the original Ramjet toy is a retool of the Diaclone "Jet Robo Acrobat-Type" F-15 Eagle that was used for Starscream, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, with new wings that seem to be inspired by the prototype F-16XL, and new "cluster bombs" (though his TFU profile states they are also laser beam rifles for his robot mode). Ramjet's robot mode stickers are the same design as Starscream's, but in different colors.
In robot mode his official instructions have the user pulling down his nose cone to complete his head transformation, like Starscream. However, Ramjet's character model depicts him as having his head untransformed, leaving a distinctive "conehead" shape to his appearance. This trait is shared by his wavemates Thrust and Dirge, leading many owners to do the same thing to differentiate the three later Decepticon jets from the three earlier ones.
The Joustra version of Ramjet, released in parts of mainland Europe in 1986, has a number of small changes from the Hasbro/Takara version, most notably a hard-plastic nosecone (ouch!) and unchromed black landing gear wheels.
Ramjet was reissued in his original packaging in Australia in 1990.

Generation 2

[edit]
'90s fashion victim.
  • Ramjet (Decepticon, 1992)
  • Accessories: 2 missile launchers, 2 missiles, left & right fists, left & right wings, 2 tail fins, front landing gear, "sound/light energy unit"
Part of the very first assortment of Generation 2 product released just in time for the 1992 holiday season, Ramjet's original toy was redecoed into a striking purple and black, with turquoise highlights. His large bombs have been replaced with a new pair of spring-loaded missile launchers and long missiles; the launcher and missile molds were also used for his assortment-mate Starscream.
Also new to this version is a large electronic "sound/light energy unit" in a kinda engine-gun-like shape (a mold also used by Starscream).
Of note is the fact that his turquoise parts are extremely prone to "yellowing", or in this case "greening". Many Generation 2 Ramjets can be found with their blue parts in a greenish teal color.
This version of the mold would also have been used to make Generation 2 Sandstorm. It possibly would also have been used for a cloud camo-themed redeco.

Collector's Edition

[edit]
  • Ramjet (Jetron, 2001)
  • ID number: Set D
  • Accessories: 2 "cluster bombs", left & right fists, left & right wings, left & right tail fins, front landing gear
Ramjet received a limited reissue as part of Takara's Collector's Edition series. With no notable changes from the original release, Collector's Edition Ramjet was exclusively available at Jaf-Con 10 in July 2001, along with Thrust.

Classics

[edit]

The flared pants craze strikes again
  • Ramjet (Deluxe Class, 2007)
Released in the third wave of Classics Deluxes, Ramjet, following the trend set by his original Generation 1 toy, is a retool of Classics Starscream, transforming into a modified fighter jet based off the hull of an F-15 Eagle. The figure's deco is greatly simplified from Ramjet's original toy and cartoon decos, largely reducing the amount of black and red in favor of white. Aside from the different deco, changes from Starscream include a new nose cone/head, new F-16XL inspired wings and new projectiles for his missile launchers. The new missiles, combined with their launchers, result in a mash-up between his prior toy's non-firing weapons and his animation model's standard-issue Seeker rifles. Unlike Starscream, his shoulder movement is unimpeded due to a lack of wings behind his shoulders.
As with most Classics toys, he features a heat-sensitive rubsign.
Ramjet's instructions neglect a couple of features on his toy; the wings can swivel back and forth and up and down in robot mode, to better balance the figure, and the circular air intakes on his chest can swivel out in either mode; the latter is used to form landing gear in his vehicle mode, as it was in both Starscream and Skywarp.

Henkei! Henkei! Starscream Ghost Version

Henkei! Henkei!

[edit]
Beware the man in white
  • Ramjet (Deluxe, 2008)
  • ID number: D-04
  • Release date: July 17, 2008
  • Accessories: Left & right missile launchers, 2 missiles
Part of the fourth wave of Takara's Henkei!
Despite the figure's appearance, Henkei!
As Henkei! toys do not feature heat-sensitive rubsigns, Henkei Ramjet has five Decepticon sigils tampographed total, one each on the top side and under side of his two wings and one in front of his canopy.
Ramjet was retooled into Gentei! Gentei! Thrust and Dirge.

Universe (2008)

[edit]
  • Aerial Rivals (Multi-pack, 2008)
  • Series: Classic Series
  • Known designers: Joe Kyde (deco artist)
A redeco of Cybertron Legends of Cybertron Starscream, Universe Ramjet transforms into a Cybertronic "tetrajet". His wings, which end up on his arms in robot mode, each feature a swing-out weapon; the right arm has a blade, while the left has a (non-firing) cannon.
He was only available in a Target-exclusive five-pack with Air Raid, Autobot Blades, Skydive, and Thrust (who shares his mold).
Aside from Thrust, this mold was also used to make Cybertron Skywarp, Sunstorm, & Ramjet, War for Cybertron Starscream, and Dark of the Moon Cybertronian Starscream.

Timelines

[edit]
The Joker has a jet now?
  • Ramjet (Deluxe, 2011)
  • Accessories: Left & right missile launchers, 2 missiles
Timelines Ramjet is a redeco of Classics Deluxe Class Ramjet in the colors of his Generation 2 toy, including replicating most of the sticker details. Most of the said sticker details were recreated with paint, but the details on the insides of his shoulder intakes and on the tops of his feet were once again stickers, presumably because it was rough getting tampographs put in there. Ramjet was also slightly retooled, as his nosecone is rounded off and made of rubber instead of plastic, presumably for safety reasons.
He was one of the two 2011 Transformers Collectors' Club exclusive figures. He and Animated Cheetor went up for preorder on April 27, 2011.; Ramjet was sold out by April 29, 2011. Dang.

United

[edit]

  • Seekers: Elites (Multi-pack, 2012)
  • Release date: December 28, 2012
  • Accessories: Left & right launchers, 2 missiles
Takara's United Ramjet is a yet another redeco of the Classics Ramjet mold, now even more bent towards his cartoon color layouts. His missile launchers (and the missiles, which are still the big chunky ones) are solid dark grey. His hands and forearms are dark grey plastic, with the forearms painted white. His wings are painted metallic red, while his jet boosters and stabilizers are dark grey plastic. Like his Henkei! Henkei! release, his Decepticon faction symbols are tampographed on both sides of his wings, and on his nosecone in front of the cockpit.
He was only available in a three-pack with Dirge and Thrust; this set though was not part of the Japanese United line, being released only in China.

Kre-O

[edit]
All we need now is a Rumble and we'll have the Kreon version of "A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court"!
  • Ramjet (Kreon Micro-Changer, 2013)
  • Collection: Collection 3
  • Bag number: ***** 53
  • Accessories: Logo brick, 2 clip-on rifles
  • Known designers: Ed Masiello (Hasbro)
As part of the third wave of blindpacked Kre-O Micro-Changers, Ramjet is a Kreon who can be rebuilt into a tiny jet. He is essentially a redeco of Kreon Dirge, using almost all the same parts and construction; except that he comes with a new back-harness attachment piece to replace the flak jacket used in Dirge's assortment.
This Micro-Changer assortment was the last one to appear at Target, with later waves showing up only at Toys"R"Us or drug/discount stores.

  • Kreon Class of '85 (Kreon figure set, 2015)
  • Set number: B5152
  • Voted: Best Headbutt
  • Accessories: 2 clip-on rifles
Kreon Class of '85 Ramjet's deco is much more heavily toy-detailed than the Micro-Changer. Oddly, his leg-wings are black instead of burgundy. Like the rest of the set, he uses the almost-totally-retooled 2015 style of Kreon body.
This box set of thirty Kreons was a San Diego Comic-Con 2015 exclusive, with leftovers being sold on Hasbro Toy Shop online after the show.

  • Ramjet (Kreon Micro-Changer, 2017)
  • Collection: Collection 3
  • Accessories: logo plate, 2 clip-on rifles
In 2017, the Collection 3 Micro-Changers were re-released in a whole new production run, first appearing at Walgreens stores in the U.S. These releases use the almost-entirely-retooled 2015 Kreon (making most parts incompatible with older Kreons), with slightly-differently-hued plastics than the originals. Ramjet's tampographs are slightly altered, changing the flat light gray to metallic silver.
Sadly, this release has no individual-identification code on the bag, requiring you to use the feel-through-the-bag method or just buy blind and hope.

Platinum Edition

[edit]
  • Seeker Squadron (Platinum Edition, 2015)
  • Accessories: 2 "cluster bombs", left & right fists, left & right wings, left & right tail fins, front landing gear
The original Ramjet toy was reissued in a Platinum Edition three-pack with Thrust and Dirge. Near as can be told, he is identical to the other releases of the toy in this deco.
In the United States, this set was officially a Target exclusive, though only ever found at a single Target store, otherwise only available via the company's website. However, it was also stocked by US-based online retailers BigBadToyStore and TFSource, who supposedly obtained it as an import from Asia. It was available in several of Hasbro's Asian markets (namely Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines; it's currently unknown whether it was exclusive to any particular stores there or not). In Australia, it was sold at Myer stores, whereas in Canada, it was available via the Canadian Walmart website (but never found in stores).
In the United Kingdom, it was sold at Toys"R"Us stores and A1 Toys. In Spain, the set was officially available via the Spanish division of Amazon. In Germany, it was originally available via Bankroft, an online retailer that otherwise specializes in Nerf blasters and accessories, as part of a special "Fan Edition" arrangement through Hasbro Germany, with the help of several German fan sites. Due to low sales, the unsold stock was later sold to Actionfiguren24, a German online retailer that specializes in imported toys, who was able to lower its price for its existing stock of imported Seeker Squadron sets as a result.

Masterpiece

[edit]
Sadly does not come with real toast.
  • ID number: MP-11NR
  • Release date: March 19, 2016
  • Accessories: 2 "null rays", 2 2-part "cluster bombs", clear hologram pilot figurine
Masterpiece MP11NR Ramjet is, of course, a fairly hefty retool of Masterpiece MP-11 Starscream, with new wing molds attached to his legs.
The pictures in the original October listings had the figure slightly mistransformed in jet mode (the nosecone was not fully closed) and featured the hologram pilot cast in orange plastic, while the updated pics from the November listing show the figure's nosecone correctly closed and the hologram pilot is now cast in clear plastic.
Unfortunately, quality control problems with this figure are very commonplace, with seemingly a majority of specimens having a misassembly in the robot shoulders that prevents fully locking the wings together in jet mode.
This toy was revealed on the TakaraTomy Mall website in October 2015 as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive. Later the same day, the listing disappeared before the preorder period started. The listing reappeared at the end of November, with preorders staying open from November 30 to December 8. It was limited to 2000 pieces in Japan.
Ramjet was further remolded, naturally, into MP-11NT Thrust and MP-11ND Dirge, also TakaraTomy Mall exclusives.

War for Cybertron: Earthrise

[edit]
Does not come with an Amazon exclusive toast.
  • Ramjet & Dirge (Multipack, 2020)
  • Hasbro ID number: WFC-E27
  • TakaraTomy ID number: ER EX-19
  • TakaraTomy release date: February 20, 2021
  • Accessories: 2 null-ray blasters
  • Known designers: John Warden (Hasbro)[1]
Released with Dirge in the Earthrise toyline as a 2-pack, Ramjet is a heavy retooling of Starscream from the same line, transforming into a modified F-15 fighter jet with cranked-arrow delta wings based on the F-16XL prototype like his original toy. As one of the Coneheads, Ramjet features a new headsculpt based on the original conehead design, though it is a faux piece not formed from the actual nosecone. Ramjet's face also features a stern, almost grimaced expression.
The figure's design and transformation scheme is heavily based on the 2006 Classics Starscream mold (and its subsequent retool of Ramjet), while adding points of articulation the earlier figure did not have such as pivoting ankles and a more expressive ball-jointed head. His head, chest, and wings are susceptible to paint chipping due to the transformation scheme.
While the null-rays can be wielded by his pair of hands, it's almost impossible for him to properly hold them due to the size of his forearms. As with Dirge, Ramjet uses the same, unchanged null-ray blasters that came with Starscream. His stock photos show him slightly mis-transformed, with his feet splayed apart in jet mode.
Like all other uses of the mold, Ramjet has a missing molded panel-line detail on the right wing hinge that is supposed to curve in towards the body of the jet. The reason for this missing detail is likely due to it missing from the metal mold itself. The plastic used for Ramjet's forearms has also been reported to yellow quickly.
His map piece, shared with Dirge, features the bottom of Gigantion, though unlabeled.
This pack was exclusive to Amazon in the United States and Canada, though it seems that demand for the characters outstripped supply—several customers later had their orders cancelled by Amazon due to a lack of available stock. While Dirge would later receive a reissue in the Legacy: Evolution line, Ramjet remained exclusive to this set until 2025.

Generations Selects

[edit]
He stole Sunstorm's invitation to Generations Selects!
  • Ramjet (Voyager Class, 2021)
  • Hasbro ID number: WFC-GS24
  • TakaraTomy release date: December 29, 2021
  • Accessories: 2 null-ray blasters
A Generations Selects add-on toy for Earthrise, released concurrently with Kingdom, this version of Ramjet is a redeco of the above Earthrise toy in the colors of Ramjet's Generation 2 figure... but with Generation 1 Decepticon symbols. Boooooooo!
The toy is branded as part of the War for Cybertron Trilogy toyline by Hasbro in the US but as part of Generations Selects by TakaraTomy, and is a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive, in Japan.

Legacy

[edit]
  • Decepticon Nemesis (Titan Class, 2023)
A tiny slug figure of Ramjet in jet mode was included with Legacy: Evolution Titan Class Nemesis.

  • G1 Universe Ramjet (Voyager Class, 2025)
  • Accessories: 2 null ray blasters
  • Known designers: John Warden (Hasbro)[1]
The above Earthrise Ramjet figure got a package refresh in the fifth and final wave of Legacy: United Voyagers, alongside several other prior exclusives that US fans found hard to acquire (just as his prior pack-mate Dirge had been in Legacy: Evolution). There are no notable differences between the two releases other than packaging.

Swapticons

[edit]
  • Desert Dunes Mission (Five-pack, 2025)
Part of the Swapticons Desert Dunes Mission five-pack, Ramjet is a recolor of Starscream and transforms into the back half of a fighter jet. Using a coupling mechanism with the head, he can be combined with the packed in Sandstorm, though he's compatible with every other figure in the line for a multitude of combinations. He features articulation at his shoulders, though his wings limit the range of movement.

Merchandise

[edit]

LALA

[edit]
  • Ramjet (1997)
Released by ToonTown licensee LALA, this eraser - oddly based on a generic Starscream-like Seeker design rather than Ramjet specifically - also doubles as a small simple model kit, with his large colored bits being the "eraser" portion and the remainder of the toy being constituted of grey plastic parts that are assembled together. He transforms from robot to vehicle and back by partforming his individual components.
Although the promotional material for these releases feature his eraser bits in pink, a copy of him with said parts in bright green has also been found.

Super Collection Figure

[edit]
But he wasn't really the Pope, just an alien robot with a funny hat.
  • Ramjet (2003)
    • Act: 6
    • Accessories: Stand
A retooling of the Super Collection Figure Starscream figure, Ramjet was released in the sixth "act" of the line. No he's not super cartoon-accurate. He was available in both full-color and pewter versions, one of each in a case of twelve.
The pewter version of the figure has a potential problem with connector peg breakage, due to said pegs often getting a layer of pewter paint before being forced into a socket, leading to sticking and tearing. Care should be used when moving or removing the arms; shaving down the socket interior with a thin hobby knife is usually sufficient to fix the issue.
In eight out of every ten cases, the pewter version of Ramjet was packed with the right arm of the Act's "build-a-figure" Grand Maximus. This part too could be in either full color or pewter, packed at a ratio of six color pieces to two pewters.
This Act was seemingly in shorter supply than the others before and since, and is not terribly common on the secondary market.
This mold was also used to make his Act-mates Thrust and Dirge. The original tooling was also used to make Thundercracker, Skywarp, and the Heroes of Cybertron special releases Sunstorm and Air Warrior.

MyClone

[edit]
Ever been headbutted by a chibi? It HURTS!
  • Ramjet (2003)
    • ID number: MTF016
MyClone Ramjet was released in the fifth series of the MyClone trading figure line, which was third and final series to feature Transformers characters. Following the MyClone aesthetic, he is a cutesy representation of Ramjet's animation model in super-deformed proportions. He features articulation in his head, shoulders, elbows, waist, hips and knees, all of the parts capable of being removed, then mixed and matched with any other MyClone figure.

3D Battle-Card Game

[edit]
  • Ramjet (2007)
A 34-point "common" character in the 3D Battle-Card Game's "Energon Wars" expansion, Ramjet "transforms" into a white and red jet, generally following his Classics deco scheme. He uses the same parts layout as Movie Starscream, Dreadwing, Thundercracker, and Jetfire, and Generation 1 Starscream and Skywarp.

Transformers - Mini Bust

[edit]
More fragile than his tech spec would have you believe.
  • Ramjet (Diamond Select, 2008)
Ramjet was released by Diamond Select Toys in 2008 and exclusive to online retailer Big Bad Toy Store. He was sculpted by Mark Wong of Art Asylum and limited to 250 pieces. The sculpt features Ramjet's distinctive wings. Strangely enough his motto on the box is "The skies are my castle, and I like to live alone" as found *in* his tech spec as opposed to "If it flies, crash it" as it was in both his tech spec and Transformers Universe profile.

The Loyal Subjects

  • Ramjet (2014)
The Loyal Subjects Ramjet is a Wave 2 figure with standard articulation. He is mostly based on his Classics toy. For every 16 figures, there are 2 Ramjets. The basic mold, but not the accessories, was also used to make Dirge and Thrust, as well as the "Ghost" versions of all three Coneheads.

Notes

In the NA-VY, in the NA-VY...
    • Another hand-painted mock-up, this time of the original Ramjet in "cloud camo" deco, is also known to exist. Whether it was ever meant to be taken into production and whether it was meant to be Ramjet or a new character remains unknown. It was originally offered for sale in October of 2000 from Whiz Bang Collectibles, along with other items seemingly from a former Hasbro employee's collection.[4] Possibly, "cloud camo Ramjet" would have been paired for release alongside "jungle attack Starscream". Eventually, the cloud camo deco was used for the Legacy: Evolution character Cloudcover.
  • Hasbro designed a "pretooled" alternate head on the Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Air Raid body tooling styled on the 1985 Coneheads, but ultimately, only TakaraTomy used this head to make Unite Warriors Curse Armada Thrust.[5]
