Peacemaker is an upbeat, almost contagiously positive Nebulan police officer. He keeps trying to cheer up his Autobot partner Pointblank to little result. Pointblank doesn't feel the Autobots should have involved the Nebulans in the war to begin with, and so disapproves of his partner and his advice on principle. Those who know him, though, say that Peacemaker has actually made progress in improving the dour Autobot's world view. Not a lot of progress, mind you...

Thankfully Peacemaker knows how to be patient, loves a challenge, and is firm in his belief that optimism leads to success.

Peacemaker's nature varies. In some universes he is an organic Nebulan; in others he is a robotic Cybertronian.

Peacemaker was the default leader of a group of Nebulans who, at great risk to themselves, joined the outlawed Autobots during Zarak and Scorponok's reign of terror on Nebulos. After undergoing the bio-engineering process that allowed them to transform into replacement weapons, they partnered with the six Autobots who had surrendered their weapons some months earlier. Peacemaker partnered with Pointblank, who was likewise the acting commander of the Autobots in the absence of Fortress Maximus. Peacemaker explained that the Nursery, Nebulos's leading agricultural research center, was under threat of takeover by the Decepticons; this news prompted the Autobots to roll out to defend it.

Peacemaker and fellow Nebulans were getting a guided tour of the Nursery from head botanist Selani when Scorponok arrived with the Terrorcons in tow. The six Nebulans transformed to their new weapon forms, and the Autobot Targetmasters unleashed their new firepower. Though the group fared well enough, the Autobots ended up retreating to spare the Nursery utter destruction from the battle. Brothers in Armor!!

Peacemaker accompanied Pointblank to Earth, and was present on the Targetmasters' first mission on that world. He was, along with his partners, introduced to Sparkplug Witwicky by Spike, Fortress Maximus's new binary bond partner. Later, Pointblank wielded him in weapons mode as the group stormed the Decepticons' island base, only to be forced into retreat by the island's hidden defenses. The Desert Island of Space!

Peacemaker and his five friends were refugees, having fled their home planet of Master when Scorponok and the Decepticons began an all-out siege on the world. They were being chased through space in their starship by the Decepticons when they came across the Battleship Maximus. Fortress gave them safe haven aboard his starship, and the Master citizens attempted to show their gratitude by removing the deadly plasma energy bombs Fortress was trying to dispose of. Their efforts came too late, however, as the plasma energy bombs exploded aboard their ship in space, bathing everyone nearby with energy. Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters (Part 1)

Peacemaker survived the explosion and underwent a miraculous transformation. He and two of his fellow refugees were each now binary bonded to one of the Autobot warriors who had been trying to save them when the plasma bombs went off. The smaller Master warriors could each transform into a powerful weapon and fuse with their larger partner's fist, creating Targetmasters. Peacemaker and his new partner Pointblank became soldiers together under Fortress's command. Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters (Part 2)

Accompanying his partner, Peacemaker quietly stood in a meeting of the Autobots in the bridge of Battleship Maximus, which discussed Scorponok's presence on Master. Peacemaker later stood in attendance as Daniel informed the others of Wheelie's disappearance. Soon after, Sixshot contacted the Autobots, revealing that the Decepticons had kidnapped Wheelie. After Wheelie was rescued, Peaceman joined Pointblank in battle against the Decepticons. Their efforts were for naught, as the Decepticons acquired the data on the Master Sword they were seeking, and Peacemaker sat on Pointblank's shoulder as he apologized to Fortress for their failure. The Master Sword Is in Danger!!

Peacemaker is an Autobot Targetmaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Do you really wanna do you really wanna taste iiiiiiiitttt?!?

Peacemaker is an upbeat, almost contagiously positive Nebulan police officer. He keeps trying to cheer up his Autobot partner Pointblank to little result. Pointblank doesn't feel the Autobots should have involved the Nebulans in the war to begin with, and so disapproves of his partner and his advice on principle. Those who know him, though, say that Peacemaker has made progress in improving the dour Autobot's worldview. Not a lot of progress, mind you...

Thankfully Peacemaker knows how to be patient, loves a challenge, and is firm in his belief that optimism leads to success.

The six Nebulans transformed into their new weapon forms, and the Autobot Targetmasters unleashed their new firepower. Though the group fared well enough, the Autobots ended up retreating to spare the Nursery's utter destruction from the battle. Brothers in Armor!!

At some point before leaving Nebulos, Peacemaker and the rest of the Autobot and Nebulan Targetmasters were kidnapped by the Decepticons. They were rescued by the Autobot Headmasters. Worlds Apart!

Peacemaker accompanied Pointblank to Earth and was present on the Targetmasters' first mission in that world.

Peacemaker was part of Gort's group of rebel Nebulans. When Targetmaster technology was stolen from the Decepticons, Peacemaker chose to be paired with Pointblank. Shortly after the process was completed, he greeted the Autobot leader Optimus Prime to the planet by introducing himself. The Rebirth, Part 1 The Rebirth, Part 2 Like the rest of the Nebulan rebels, he accompanied the Autobots back to Cybertron and helped to defeat the Decepticons and bring about a new Golden Age on the planet. The Headmasters cartoon

[edit]
You gotta be kidding me! You're gonna risk the entire mission for a mentally defective dressed as a court jester?

Peacemaker and his five friends were refugees, having fled their home planet of Master when Scorponok and the Decepticons began an all-out siege on the world. They were being chased through space in their starship by the Decepticons when they came across the Battleship Maximus. Fortress gave them haven aboard his starship, and the Master citizens attempted to show their gratitude by removing the deadly plasma energy bombs Fortress was trying to dispose of. Their efforts came too late, however, as the plasma energy bombs exploded aboard their ship in space, bathing everyone nearby with energy. Miraculous Warriors, Targetmasters (Part 1)

Nothing like a bloodbath to start the day.

I cherish peace with all my heart. I don't care how many men, women, and children I need to kill to get it.

Peacemaker soon joined his partner in an investigation on Master for the possible presence of the Decepticons. The Autobots were soon accosted by the Decepticon Targetmasters and the two forces battled each other. The Decepticons were able to wash the Autobots away in a surge of water from an elevated lake. They were eventually able to pull themselves out of the new river and scouted the area for the hidden Decepticons, finding their cave hideout. As they were much smaller than their partners, Peacemaker, Pointech, and Spoil volunteered to go ahead, using a small entrance into the factory where the Decepticons were creating the Zarak Shield. When their larger partners again came under attack by the Decepticon Targetmasters, they left the complex and rejoined their comrades, helping force the Decepticons into retreat. The Zarak Shield Turns the Tide

You're the leader. You're supposed to be decisive.

With the Zarak Shield now known to the Autobots, they had a meeting to discuss strategy, which Peacemaker sat in. Following Pointblank's strategy, the smaller Targetmaster partners joined in an advanced part to find the Decepticons. They were soon attacked by the Decepticons, who had detected them. During the battle, the Decepticons were distracted by an aircraft sent by the natives of Master, allowing the Autobots to escape. Operation: Destroy the Decepticons After the Decepticons left Master for Earth, the Autobots followed. When Daniel was trapped at Daira, the Targetmasters went ahead to keep watch on Scorponok while the others rescued Daniel. My Friend Sixshot! They were spotted in the asteroid belt and pulled into a battle. The other Autobots came to their rescue, and the fighting ended when Sixshot challenged Chromedome to battle. Duel on the Asteroid

When the Autobots arrived on Earth, the Targetmasters were sent to investigate the Death Tower in Santiago, Chile. They met with Predaking, who was easily taken down by Peacemaker and Pointblank and returned to the other Autobots with their data. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 1) The Autobots soon went to Giza, Egypt, to catch the Death Tower there before it emerged. Peacemaker later joined the Autobots in the decisive battle at the North Pole and the Final Formation that ended Scorponok's machinations on Earth. The Final Showdown on Earth (Part 2)

Legends comic

[edit]

Brainstorm told Rattrap the story about how he and other diminutive Autobots, including Peacemaker, fled Cybertron because of the war and settled on Master. LG09 Brainstorm Years before becoming a Targetmaster, Peacemaker was one of six Master warriors who were kidnapped by Scorponok and exposed to plasma energy, removing their ability to speak. When Scorponok returned to Master in 2011 and tried to recapture them and continue his experiments, the six of them fled the planet. Mutant Targetmaster Birth Chapter

In 2021, Peacemaker and the Autobot Targetmasters were battling their Decepticon counterparts in space when Scorponok detonated a black hole, creating a plasma energy shockwave that caused the Targetmaster partners to vanish. Targetmaster Chapter Prologue When they were located in the void of space, the six had been supercharged with plasma energy and gathered together into a clump of guns. The Decepticon Targetmasters attempted to steal them away to the Legends World using Alpha Trion's ultra-drill, but the plasma energy was too dangerous and Trion instead scattered them across the dimension. Mutant Targetmaster Birth Chapter Furthermore, the combination of plasma energy with the Legends World's unique energies mutated the Targetmasters, granting them new powers. LG45 Targetmaster Hot Rod

Peacemaker, Pinpointer, and Spoilsport ended up underground in an unpopulated area, further absorbing the proton energy used to create the Legends World LG61 Decepticon Clones until they were discovered by Metroplex. LG-EX Metroplex They were then stolen by Pounce and Wingspan, who used the now extremely powerful Targetmasters to defeat Metroplex before setting their sights on world conquest. Fortunately Fastlane and Cloudraker managed to separate them from the three Targetmasters, who flew off to avoid being used for evil purposes. LG61 Decepticon Clones For reasons unknown, they reunited and went berserk, attacking Neo Akihabara City until Windblade captured Pinpointer and used him to defeat Peacemaker and Spoilsport. LG62 Targetmaster Windblade

Using her connection to Pinpointer to take remote control of Peacemaker and Spoilsport, Windblade herself attacked the Legends World on the orders of Katsu Don. Fortunately Twin Twist succeeded in severing her control over Peacemaker, who fell into the hands of Topspin. LG65 Targetmaster Twin Twist Topspin subsequently wielded him while battling and defeating Windblade and Katsu Don. LG66 Targetmaster Topspin

The Transformers

[edit]
Peacemaker, what a joke...
 • Pointblank (Targetmaster, 1987)
 • Takara name: Blanker
 • Takara ID number: C-106
 • Known designers: Richard Marcej (packaging){{#if: |, {}}}
Released in the fourth year of Hasbro's US The Transformers toyline (third year in Europe and in Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers line), Targetmaster Peacemaker ("Peaceman" in Japan) transforms into a "sonic blaster". In weapon mode, he can either be handheld or mounted on other toys via 5 mm posts.
He was only available packed in with his larger partner Pointblank, who has a 5 mm hole in his vehicle-mode roof for Pointblank in gun mode.

Transformers (campaign item)

[edit]
Maybe it should be "Pieceman".
 • Autobot Peaceman (Arms Micron, 2011)
Arms Micron "Autobot Peaceman" is a redeco of Power Core Combiners Chopster, transforming into a double-bladed battle-axe that can be held by any figure with a reasonably deep 5 mm post-hole in their hand.
His instructions only show the hand-held mode, but as he is a Power Core Combiners Mini-Con mold, he can also be converted into a Powerlinx-post-mountable double Gatling cannon, plus an "armor" mode that connects to a Power Core Combiners Commander toy's chest or back-mounted Powerlinx plug for use in either of their robot modes.
He was only available as part of the Prime "Arms Micron Present Campaign", with the purchase of 3000 yen worth of Prime: First Edition toys at Japanese Toys"R"Us stores on December 28, 2011.
This mold was also used to make Razorbeam.

Legends

[edit]
You Got: Peacemaker & Rush Jet!
 • Targetmaster Topspin (Deluxe, 2018)
 • ID number: LG66
 • Release date: March 24, 2018
Released in the twenty-seventh wave of TakaraTomy's Legends toyline, Peaceman is a redeco and retool of Legends Recoil, featuring a new gun barrel.
He was only available packaged with "Targetmaster Topspin", an utterly inexplicable addition. It's possible TakaraTomy was exploring the potential to do a new Pointblank in some manner and plans were scuppered, but budgets still allowed for some small additions to later-run toys.

Legacy

[edit]
I Refuse To Believe That @Pepethefrog89 Is Lying To Me For No Reason
 • Autobot Pointblank & Autobot Peacemaker (Deluxe Class, 2022)
Included with Legacy Autobot Pointblank, Peacemaker turns from robot to gun in two steps. Due to being part of Pointblank's mold instead of his own dedicated one, he has no articulation compared to the contemporary War for Cybertron Battle Masters.
Peacemaker has two 5 mm posts in gun mode: one for normal being-held-in-hand attachment, and one on the back end of his gun mode which allows him to peg into the wrist socket of a larger figure, The Headmasters style... though Pointblank himself is not capable of utilizing the figure this way.

Notes

[edit]
 • Peacemaker is named after the 19th century :}}Colt Single Action Army| revolver, also known as Peacemaker.
