Regarding Hasbro, Andrew was "always a bridesmaid, never a bride." Always working for the company in a temp position or as a freelancer but never a full time employee. Towards the end of his temp model maker position in 2011, Andrew decided if Hasbro wasn't going to commit to him, then he would commit to himself. And he turned his professional skills and experience in making action figures towards his homoerotic art.

Andrew Scribner (born February 2, 1977)[1] is a freelance artist based in Pawtucket, RI. A Transformers fan since '84 (his first was Windcharger, bought with his own money), when he began to work at Hasbro as a temp model painter in August 2006, the team was reportedly thrilled to have someone so willing to paint for Transformers. And he certainly had a lot of painting to do, tasked as he was with the massive amounts of incoming live-action movie product.[2][3]
