Several days into their journey, Microtron scanned the surrounding area looking for something to fuel the Heliopolis, detecting something "big". The Micronauts then received a message from Baron Karza. Karma told them that though it has only been a few days for them inside the storm, years had passed in Microspace. Microtron then informed Oz that he discovered the source of the energy he detected, as well as the source of Karza's signal. Oz struggled to comprehend and Karza explained that "it" was the birthplace of Microspace: the body of Micronus Prime. Micronauts: Revolution Travelling further through the Entropy Cloud, Karza explained that Micronus was a gateway to another universe, which held the key to saving Microspace. Hoping but uncertain that Karza was telling the truth, they went forward. As the bridge awoke, a Time Traveler appeared, telling Oziron that the fate of their universe was in his hands, not those of Karza or his allies.
This conflict had, in part, been sparked by the formation of a destructive entropy storm that threatened to consume their universe entirely; when the Micronauts flew into this storm in an attempt to escape Karza, they were attacked by Reptos, a race of beings previously thought destroyed by the cloud. Before the Reptos could destroy the Heliopolis, the crew was saved by a mysterious Time Traveller, who gave them a series of visions before disappearing.

Due to outside forces, the Heliopolis was assaulted by shards of Ore-13, which the Micronauts believed to be Karza's intentions. After a moment, and assurance from the time traveler, Oz pushed onward through the Spacebridge. Confused by their metal surroundings, they felt once again betrayed upon encountering a giant Karza robot. O Ship of State It attacked, which prompted Acroyear to leap from the ship and attack the 'robot', only to to be confronted by the scale of their situation as a second robot attacked. The three sword-wielders fought each other, only to be forced to a conclusion by another new arrival. The rest of the Micronauts were eventually noticed and Rom realised there is life on Micronus, regretting his earlier actions. Attempting to apologise, all the Micronauts could interpret was his serious demeanor.
Some time later into the voyage, Microtron scanned the surrounding area for fuel, but detected something "big" instead. The Micronauts then received a message from Karza, who revealed that time and space had been distorted by the storm, while only days had passed for the Micronauts, he had spent years trapped in the very center of the entropy cloud, having discovered the birthplace of Microspace and the body of its creator — Micronus Prime. Micronauts: Revolution Hoping to reverse the damage wrought by the entropy cloud, Karza had discovered that the giant's body contained a gateway to another universe, one which held a miraculous mineral capable of repairing the damage that the entropy cloud had wrought. Having struck a deal with the devil, the Heliopolis prepared to enter the space bridge, but not before its crew were confronted by another Time Traveller, who warned them that the fate of their universe lay in their hands, not Karza's.

When Miles Mayhem led an attack on Autobot City, the Micronauts joined the battle alongside the Autobots, Snake Eyes and Rom. Unable to warn the 'giants', they watched in horror as Baron Karza Enerchange with the Dire Wraiths. The New Colossus The Micronauts and their allies turned their focus onto Karza, who Oz figured must have a way to save Microspace if he had come to this universe, but that he did not care of the consequences to this new planet. Just as Windblade realised the Microspace inhabitants spoke Old Cybertronian, allies were divided with the arrival of M.A.S.K. and Snake Eye's subsequent change of allegiance. Still the Micronauts fought on, with Acroyear quickly attacking both Matt Trakker#IDW_Generation_1_continuity and Snake Eyes before Optimus Prime scooped him, ROM and Snake Eyes up. With the arrival of G.I. Joe all were one again. The Micronauts, finally finding someone who spoke the language, formed a plan with Soundwave, Rom, Matt and Mainframe to reprogram and enerchange with the Spacebridge, stopping Karza. This cut them off from Microspace, but they vowed to save their universe without Karza. In the mayhem of the resulting explosion, their new allies believed the Micronauts dead and had allowed them to be scooped up by an organisation, where they were due for Vivisection. Valley Forge
Due to outside forces, the space bridge portal was momentarily assaulted by explosive shards of Ore-13. After the Time Traveller warned them of the urgent nature of their mission, the Heliopolis flew onward through the Space Bridge, and emerged on Earth, inside Autobot City. Confused by their metallic surroundings, they were even more confused by Snake-Eyes, who they mistook for a gigantic Karza robot. O Ship of State In the ensuing skirmish, Acroyear battled the "robot," and was in turn confronted by robot attacked. The three sword-wielders fought each other until Soundwave intervened, though the Micronauts discovered that they were unable to communicate or understand the language of the "giants."

Having escaped this and other predicaments, the Micronauts tried to avoid capture from Kup and Mayday at the Pacific Science Center in Washington, unsure of their intents. Garrison Blackrock knocked their craft out the sky, and they soon came to realise that they had misjudged their pursuers hostility. Scooped up by Kup and Blackrock, the former tried the universal greeting to close the language gap, impressing Biotron. Blackrock projected an image of The Talisman, which Larissa recognised with shock, though neither group knew what it was. Oz wondered whether it is a way home and whether they could enerchange with it.
During the Dire Wraith attack on Autobot City, the Micronauts joined the battle alongside Optimus Prime and his new allies as Baron Karza revealed himself; unable to warn the "giants" of Baron Karza's Enerchange ability, they wawtched in horror as their enemy merged with the Dire Wraiths to become a colossal monster. The New Colossus The Micronauts continued to fight as allegiances changed, with Acoryear attacking Matt Trakker and Snake-Eyes before Optimus was able to convince the heroes to work together to take down the true threat. The Micronauts, discovering that the Autobot Windblade spoke a variant of their language, were able to work with the Transformers, M.A.S.K. and G.I. Joe to enerchange with the Space Bridge, sacrificing their only way home to send Karza back to Microspace. In the resulting explosion, the Micronauts were assumed to have perished; in reality, they had been knocked unconscious aboard their ship and captured by a scientific organization, who wished to vivisect them. Valley Forge

Using the Micronauts sensors, they arrived at an abandoned Cobra Moon base. Kup smashed a way in, with the Micronauts finding both the Talisman and Action Man at two separate sources of Ore-13, only to be swatted out the sky by Storm Shadow. Larissa enerchanged with the Talisman, raising the device and effecting the nearby Ore-13 in a similar way to Karza's previous attempts to transport it. Blackrock lifted The Talisman, Larissa and Acroyear out the base before it exploded, with Kup narrowly rescuing the rest. Larissa noted she did not have full control over the device and that it would take years to understand the capabilities of it, before her awe was cut off by Mayday, wary of the device. Enter the Shadow
After escaping human captivity and having several other adventures along the way, the Micronauts next encountered the Transformers some months later, when Garrison Blackrock, Mayday, and Kup — searching for more information about the alien artifact known as the "Talisman" — tracked them to the Pacific Science Center in Seattle. Unsure of their intentions, the encounter led to a brief skirmish that was only averted when Kup used the universal greeting to assure the Micronauts of their good intentions. Though the Micronauts were unable to identify the Talisman, Oz wondered if it could be a way home. Using the sensors aboard the Heliopolis sensors, they were able to track the Talisman's energy to an abandoned base on the Moon, and set off to rescue Action Man from the clutches of the Iron Ring. After being swatted out of the sky by Storm Shadow, Larissa enerchanged with the Talisman and revealed a Microspace-sized control suite, flying it out of the base as it self-destructed and rejoining Kup as they set course for Earth. Larissa noted she did not have full control over the device and that it would take years to understand its full capabilities. Enter the Shadow

Revolution

If they were meant to be humans, they'd be better scaled to Jetfire than the human characters.
 • Revolution Set (SDCC Gift Set, 2017)
