Transformers EarthSpark The Official Guidebook is a guide to the first season of Transformers: EarthSpark. Like some older reference books, the book takes the form of an in-universe series of diaries written by various members of the Malto family, primarily Mo and her father Alex.

In chapter-by-chapter format, the book covers:

Notes

  • Parts of the book appear to have been written using pre-finalized reference material from earlier in Earthspark's development—most notably, the entry for Teletraan-1 claims that the Autobots came to Earth aboard the Ark in search of the AllSpark, whereas the truncated backstory seen in "Secret Legacy, Part 1" showed both sides travelling to Earth via spacebridge.
  • The book states that Optimus was the one to jettison the AllSpark off Cybertron, where it wound up on Earth by accident; however, in the cartoon, it was the Decepticons who removed the AllSpark from the planet as recounted by Megatron in "Warzone".
  • Nightshade's profile notes that they identify as "Terran" rather than as any specific gender, an older concept for the character that was eventually dropped in favour of making them explicitly nonbinary.
  • Megatron's profile expands on the brief story he told Jawbreaker in "Outtakes" regarding his decision to scan an Earth alternate mode; it was to rescue Dot and her squadron from the airborne Astrotrain.
