The Transformers
Ruckus can be repurposed as a body of Exarchon in Lord of Misrule: Enigmatic

- Ruckus (Triggercon, 1988)
- Known designers: Takashi Kunihiro (TakaraTomy)
- Ruckus transforms into an indigo and tan Baja buggy. Like the other Triggercons, Ruckus has a pair of twin flip-out cannons as his focal gimmick. The cannons are the unchromed gear-deploying style, like those of Crankcase and the Autobot Triggerbot Dogfight. In vehicle mode, the cannons deploy either side of the driver's cabin, while in his robot form they're mounted atop his shoulders. That said the mechanism seems to be designed more for the latter, as the trigger switch more often than not causes the guns to flip to that position even in vehicle mode as opposed to the vehicle configuration mentioned here. In both cases, they point up at an angle instead of straight forward.
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers
Deathsarus is repurposed as a body of Exarchon in Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Three

- ID number: D-336
- Accessories: Tail/shield, "Deathtailer" rifle/mace
- Known designers: Kōjin Ōno (TakaraTomy)
- "Deszaras" transforms into a blue and grey dragon monster. Unusually for late Generation 1 toys, he has die-cast-metal feet in beast mode.
- Deathsaurus comes packaged with his Breast Animal partners, Tigerbreast and Eaglebreast, which transform from creatures into hand-held weapons for Deathsaurus, and a pair of breastplates which lock into a spring-loaded socket on the toy's body to form elaborate torso armor for Deathsaurus's robot mode. Eaglebreast is inserted first, then Tigerbreast fits on top, concealing it; the figures can also be attached while Deathsaurus is in beast mode, which leaves them on his creature mode's back. Deathsaurus also wields a light blue laser rifle with a molded-in flail (which, sadly, cannot be removed) that can be held either by an ordinary handle or by a second peg on its butt that allows it to be brandished like a staff or blade; in dragon mode, the rifle can plug into the legs so no parts are left behind. The dragon's tail unfolds to become the "Death Tailer" shield, which mounts on either of the robot's biceps.
- There is a mold variant related to the spike on top of Deathsaurus's dragon head. On some specimens this spike's rear surface has a scooped, concave appearance; on others, it is filled in.[1]
Combiner Wars
Combiner Wars Onslaught is repurposed as a body of Exarchon Lord of Misrule: Test Flight I

- Onslaught (Voyager Class, 2016)
- Accessories: Left & right cannons
- Known designers: Shogo Hasui (TakaraTomy)
- Part of the first wave of Combiner Wars product for 2016, Onslaught is a heavy retool of Hot Spot, replacing most the robot mode's parts from the waist up and turning the vehicle mode backwards, resulting in a transformation into an anti-aircraft truck rather than a fire truck. Being a Combiner Wars Voyager, he can combine with any four of that line's Deluxes, though he is meant to combine with his fellow Combaticons to form Bruticus. His guns can combine end-to-end to form a larger gun for Bruticus. While it may seem as if his turret cannot rotate, folding the combiner chestplate parts at the side of the truck mode up will allow it to do so. Shockwave can also loosely sit in a designated port on top of Onslaught's vehicle mode, between Bruticus' face cover and the crotch plate.
- When Hasbro originally announced the figure at BotCon 2015, he was advertised as having a tan Bruticus chestplate for a Generation 1 Onslaught-accurate color scheme as the first release and a silver chestplate for a Generation 1 Bruticus-accurate color scheme as a running change. Instead, only the version with a silver chest plate ever made it to retail, with the tan chestplate version never being released.
- While this toy officially omits the base mode of his G1 self, many fan mode base configurations exist to homage the G1 toy and even dock with Titan Class Trypticon.
- Though Onslaught's wave was scheduled for a first quarter 2016 release, it arrived on US store shelves in late 2015. Onslaught and the last three waves of Combiner Wars Deluxe and Voyager figures later showed up at TJ Maxx at reduced prices.
- This version of the Hot Spot/Onslaught mold served as the basis for Shattered Glass Soundwave's appearance in "Epilogue Two".
Ruckus can be repurposed as a body of Exarchon in Lord of Misrule: Enigmatic

- Known designers: Marcelo Matere (packaging artist)
- Part of the Figure Subscription Service 4.0, Combiner Wars Grabuge (using his French Canadian name for trademark reasons) is a redeco of Deluxe Class Decepticon Offroad (who was designed after him). Grabuge can also form either an arm or a leg for any standard-issue Combiner Wars-style gestalt (or into one of Legends Godbomber's legs), though he was intended to combine with Bludgeon to form Thunder Mayhem. While the front hood/windshields are needed to be folded as kneecaps for his leg mode, the piece also had a tendency to dislodge if he collides with Optimus Prime/Motormaster's and Hot Spot's protruding foot while the legs are being swiveled in his standing position, unless the leg joints are bent down to lessen the problem.
- This mold was also redecoed to make Unite Warriors Zombie War Breakdown and was retooled to create First Aid, Ironhide, and Trailbreaker. This mold also served as the model for the non-toy Shattered Glass versions of Checkpoint and the Autotroopers.
- The figure was also available for purchase in the Transformers Collector's Club Online Store.

War for Cybertron: Siege
War for Cybertron Siege Megatron is repurposed as a body of Exarchon in Lord of Misrule: Test Flight I

- Megatron (Voyager Class, 2019)
- Known designers: Aaron Gray (Hasbro), AJ Piejko-Brown (packaging)
- Siege Megatron transforms from a G1 cartoon-esque robot to a
Grizzly battle tank from the Command & Conquer seriesCybertronian tank and back! Megatron's robot mode is pretty accurate to the original cartoon, despite having a completely different altmode. He is armed with 2 weapons compatible with the C.O.M.B.A.T. System, one of which is his trademark fusion cannon called the "D50-R35 Fusion Cannon". The other is the "HPR Telescopic Laserstrike Launcher," with two symmetrical blades facing the opposite direction, and can transform into a large sword resembling the sword included in the Takara release of the original Generation 1 toy and can be stored on his back. It can also be mounted on his back to resemble the gun barrel on the original cartoon model's back. Both can combine into the insanely large "NFM Particle Beam Megalauncher," which is meant to be held in his hands or over his head. Like his contemporaries in the Siege toyline, Megatron features 'battle damage' paint applications all over his head, chest, arms, and legs.
- Due to the way Megatron transforms, it's possible to rotate the turret 180 degrees and use the fusion cannon solely as the tank barrel, in the event one should lose the "Laserstrike Launcher" accessory; while not as aesthetically pleasing as the intended transformation, it still works.
- Megatron also suffers a slight design flaw: unlike with the left ankle, the right ankle's pivoting joint has a tendency to not lock back to its straight position once it is unlocked. The only way to amend this is by pressing the top end of the black plastic peg on the right foot. The light grey backpack/central front tank kibble also has a tendency to dislodge if his waist is moved left or right. Due to the Fusion Cannon's slightly longer post, the hand's dorsal panel slightly protrudes when in tank mode.
- There is a message written in Cybertronian letters on Megatron's box art, which reads "RISE FROM THE SHADOWS". Megatron's pose in the instruction manual's front cover is based on the promotional artwork by Guido Guidi.
- Amusingly, the first TakaraTomy (and later, Hasbro's secondary) stock photos of his robot mode depict him wielding the fusion cannon like a handheld weapon.
- Though designated for release in the first quarter of 2019, Megatron's wave reached U.S. store shelves in late 2018.
- Megatron was a notorious shelfwarmer, particularly in Asia, often unsold in large numbers.
- This mold was redecoed and retooled into multiple different Megatrons below, and Shattered Glass Megatron.

War for Cybertron Siege Shockwave is repurposed as a body of Exarchon in Lord of Misrule: Test Flight I

- Shockwave (Leader Class, 2019)
- Known designers: Emiliano Santalucia (concept artist)
- Part of the first wave of Siege Leader Class figures, Shockwave is a heavily G1-inspired Voyager-sized robot that can assume a small Leader-sized super robot mode with four arms by combining with armor consisting of two shoulder pads, two platform boot pieces, and a backpack. These pieces are compatible with the C.O.M.B.A.T. System. They can be placed in many configurations on his body—TakaraTomy's stock photos suggest adding the accessories as limb-mounted cannon emplacements—or combined into a hovercraft, an intended feature not mentioned in the instructions.
- Shockwave himself transforms into a spaceship resembling an upside-down laser gun, which can be augmented using the armor. The bridge of the spaceship is sculpted to evoke Shockwave's head and features the same killer light-piping effect. If you're inclined, the spaceship (without the armor parts) can be displayed as such, though the "handle" on the spaceship bridge/legs is a bit too short for an adult hand to hold with.
- Like most Siege toys, Shockwave features multiple hardpoints all over himself and his weapons (such as his cannon arm, now called the "LV-1 Thermal Range Neuron Beam") to accommodate "Fire Blasts" from the Battle Masters assortment, which can be used to simulate blaster fire or explosions. Shockwave also features the typical Siege "battle damage" paint, but only on his feet and shoulder pads. TakaraTomy's stock photography shows a non-final figure with two inconsistent shades of purple.
- Caution should be taken with Shockwave's rubber hose, as it's prone to stress and breaking, especially at the plug connection point. This seems to be due to it being slightly too short, causing a great deal of tension at the point where it attaches to Shockwave's body when he's in spaceship mode or has his arm extended. The plug itself and the corresponding "correct" ports on his forearm and bridge tower seem to be slightly larger than standard 5mm posts, suggesting the size difference may be intentional to deter connecting the hose in a way that would lead to damage. However, the difference isn't enough to entirely prevent the peg from being pushed in with a small amount of force. This has the added effect of making some of his ports too loose to hold accessories properly while others may be slightly too tight.
- Though designated for release in the first quarter of 2019, Shockwave's wave reached U.S. store shelves in late 2018.
- Shockwave was released in both the first and last waves of the Siege toyline. The latter release unfortunately turned him into a massive shelfwarmer, particularly at Target stores, where he could still be found throughout the entirety of 2020 alongside the Earthrise toyline.
Legacy
Deathsarus is repurposed as a body of Exarchon in Darkness, Once Gazed Upon: Part Three
- Deathsaurus (2023)
- Series: Victory / Legacy
- TakaraTomy ID number: TL-CF2022
- Accessories: "Death Tailer" shield, shield handle, sword, arrow; Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon, flail, 6 Fire Blast effects (Tier 1 unlocks); flight stand, throne, adapter part, display base (Tier 2 unlocks)
- Known designers: Brian (HasLab), Evan Brooks (Hasbro), Hisashi Yuki (TakaraTomy), Guido Guidi (packaging artist)
- The third HasLab crowdfunded figure for Transformers, Deathsaurus is an incredibly cartoon-accurate representation of the character. Features highlighting this include removable wingtips to re-enact the "Death Wing" attack; a creature mode (called a "griffon-dragon") with a narrow bird-like beak and three-toed feet; and a shield that can only be mounted on the robot's right arm (via a 5 mm port that can be folded away when not in use) since that was where the cartoon always showed it.
- Like Victory Saber, Deathsaurus cost $179.99 USD and required 11,000 "backers" to go into production. The base level produced Deathsaurus himself, his sword, an "Eaglechest" partner (with gun mode), and "Tigerchest" partner (now turning into a cartoon-accurate longbow, complete with an arrow). These partners are called "Micromasters", although they are more akin to the noticeably larger Core size class. Reaching 14,000 backers unlocked a "weapon pack", which includes a spiked flail with articulated chain (the chain being reused from MP-5 Megatron),[2] two sets of triple-stacked Fire Blast effects (to match those that came with Legacy Victory Saber) and his Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon. When the set reached 17,000 backers, this unlocked a display stand with an arm that can be arranged for robot or beast mode, and a show-accurate throne that provides storage for all of Deathsaurus's accessories.
- As a premium crowdfunded figure, Deathsaurus features slightly more intricate articulation compared to a typical Legacy figure, including an ab crunch, forward-articulating butterfly joints in his shoulders, and separate index/middle finger and ring/pinky finger joints. In order to take advantage of the ab crunch while Tigerchest is inserted, Tigerchest's neck must first be adjusted, as otherwise the sculpting of Deathsaurus's codpiece will lever Tigerchest out of position. Tigerchest comes packaged in chestplate mode with his hindlegs fully extended, and the instructions depict him this way as well—but the hindlegs must first be bent to get him firmly positioned in Deathsaurus's chest.
- All of the grips/handles of Deathsaurus's weapons use Masterpiece-style posts and ports rather than the more universal 5 mm posts and ports used by the rest of Legacy. As mentioned, however, the connector joint for the shield does use a 5 mm port, so it can technically be used by other figures. The connector can also be plugged into the shield in an alternate orientation to allow Deathsaurus to hold the shield in his hand. The Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon has two distinct sets of posts that allow Deathsaurus to not only wield it in robot mode, but also (rather goofily) use it in griffon-dragon mode, as he did when he first unleashed it in Resurrection!? The Decepticon Fortress. His beast mode neck features a molded post which allows his sword to be stored on his back in robot mode.
- The throne and flight stand both share the display base disc, so the throne must be removed from the base and set aside in order to install the flight stand. When not attached to the display base, the throne can still stand and be used for storing most accessories - but the Living Metal Destroying Cannon will no longer fit.
- The initial plan had been to release Deathsaurus at retail in the Legacy line, as a partial retool of Leader-class Studio Series Grimlock with the partner beasts each sold separately as Core class figures. However, the strong success of the Victory Saber campaign convinced them to move Deathsaurus to that platform as well. This made possible a bespoke and significantly larger design that, at 11" tall, can stand eye-to-eye with Victory Saber.[3]
- The crowdfunding began on October 27, 2022, and ran through December 12, with the expected shipping date being the Fall of 2023. Deathsaurus reached sufficient backers to enter production on November 28, 2022. The weaponry tier was unlocked on December 5, 2022, and the final tier with the throne and display stand was unlocked on December 11, 2022, one day before the campaign ended. The final count was 27,442 backers, making Deathsaurus the most successful Transformers HasLab item. A surprise tier was revealed on December 13 to celebrate the occasion—Boater and Pīpō Micromasters recreated with modern engineering to complement Holi and Fire included with Victory Saber and complete the Rescue Patrol Team!
- Deathsaurus began arriving in December 2023, first reported by fans in Taiwan (ironic since their shipment of Victory Saber the previous year had been undelivered due to water damage). For those fans who backed him from the United Kingdom, the item was delayed to spring 2024. As with Victory Saber, the Japanese release of Deathsaurus has a different box design with wireframe schematic art.
