- Kade Burns is a human jerk from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Kade Burns went from high school star quarterback to firefighter, and carried his ego over between vocations. He can often be a jerk to his siblings, especially Cody, and he has trouble working with others, especially Heatwave. Perhaps his partnership with the Rescue Bot will temper him somewhat.

When he was young, Dani and Graham used to tell him stories about gremlins, which gave him nightmares. Blame the Gremlins
Kade took part in a dedication ceremony during which Chief Burns unveiled the town's new emergency rescue robots, though Kade was started when his fire engine transformed without prompting to take him to the museum to attend to a fire. After Kade put the fire out, he was again surprised by his fire engine robot saving his father and brother Graham from a falling dinosaur head, but was all too happy to take the credit. That night, he was annoyed when his other brother, Cody, appeared to have commandeered his fire engine to chase around a rogue robot Tyrannosaurus rex from the museum. He was even more taken aback when the fire engine robot assisted in taking down the dinosaur by transforming and throwing the T. rex around. Chief Burns revealed that the four robots were actually aliens. Family of Heroes
This revelation didn't help, as Kade had trouble with the idea his fire engine was an Autobot and could drive itself. After Cody attempted to get him and Heatwave to bond, Kade turned up to the next disaster with a real fire engine, only for it to be destroyed by the lava, requiring him to be rescued by Heatwave. As they later fought to stop Mount Magma from erupting, Heatwave and Kade were forced to try to stop the lava flow from reaching the bunker under the fire station. When they ran out of water, Kade opted to stay by Heatwave's side. Luckily, Dani and Blades came to their rescue with the contents of a water tower. Under Pressure
Kade and Heatwave teamed up again to help save Doc Greene after the scientist's experimental car went out of control. Kade became disgruntled when Dani fitted a scoop claw to Blades, and the pair started hogging all the rescue action, and took his concerns to his sister. Things seemed to go much smoother after the others had to rescue Blades, Dani and Cody following a lightning strike, and Blades decided to put the claw in storage. Hotshots Following another rescue of Doc Greene in which Kade and Heatwave had to retrieve him from a building, the Rescue Bots were to have taken part in a technology parade, but Heatwave had "engine trouble". Kade was just relieved he would have a break from hanging around with Heatwave, but when the Lobster and Technology Festival was attacked by flobsters, he was forced to call the fire station to try to cajole Heatwave into coming to help. He and Heatwave rescued Edgar Prewett from a truck dangling over a cliff. The pair also attempted to help residents of Griffin Rock after Huxley Prescott caused a mass panic by reporting an alien invasion. The Alien Invasion of Griffin Rock After a lion and some lemurs escaped from the zoo, Kade and Heatwave took part in the effort to round them up. Walk on the Wild Side
Though their attempt to stop Mr Harrison by spraying him with water didn't work, the pair later helped stop rampaging nanites who took over Boulder. Cody on Patrol During a bridge repair job, Kade and Heatwave had to rescue an impatient motorist who plunged into the river, though Kade was almost swept over a waterfall in the process. He also attended a call out when the bank was in danger of falling into a sink hole. Cody deprived him of the chance to test Doc Greene's Turbo Cycle, and instead he got stuck babysitting the Robo-Baby for a week. Four Bots and a Baby On a hot summer day, Kade and Heatwave helped kids cool off by using Heatwave's fire hose as a sprinkler. After Cody had the idea to use a weather machine to create snow, he joined in a snowball fight, and helped the town residents when the machine went out of control. Christmas in July
Kade, Dani and Graham used excuses to get out of the annual Burns fishing trip, but later changed their minds and arrived on the pier to discover they'd missed out on the giant mechanical shark. Deep Trouble When the island's mainframe caught a virus and all the technology ran rampant, Kade and Heatwave had to get Mayor Luskey out of the town hall. Return of the Dino Bot The arrival of Doctor Morocco and his MorBot resulted in the entire team being stood down, after they failed to compete against the newcomer. The Other Doctor Kade did his best to reassure Heatwave that they were both far from useless now the MorBot was doing the rescuing. They got the chance to see action again when the team was called to the lab to attend to a fire, and the discovery of new information about Morocco resulted in the team being reinstated for good. Ignoring Dani's offers of help, Kade insisted on rescuing Hayley and subsequently scored a date with the girl. Kade's equally-reckless actions during a break-in at the Hall of Inspiration resulted in Heatwave, Boulder and Blades being shot with the Minimizer and disappearing. When there was an alert at the Griffin Rock dam, Kade headed there in his old truck and almost came unstuck when the platform he was on started to fall, but was saved by the three shrunken bots. Small Blessings Kade and the team went on a mission into the Griffin Rock Triangle to find Professor Baranova, and he was taken aback when it appeared as though she didn't want to be rescued. After Cody talked her around, the team helped her seal the methane vent that had been causing the ship sinkings. the Griffin Rock Triangle
Left in charge of the team, Kade promptly went off to see a movie with Hayley. As a result, he was unreachable until Chase faked a litter emergency and Dani dragged him back to the station so they could head to Griffin Crest and bail out the Rescue Bots. Rules and Regulations When a storm hit Griffin Rock, Kade helped secure the town and searched for Cody on the Darby Ava after his brother was swept out to sea. The Lost Bell Kade accompanied the team on a mission to Wayward Island to investigate a meteorite. When Heatwave, Boulder and Chase were subsequently stricken by a strange virus, Kade seemed to enjoy the fact that he was the one driving, at least at first. He and the rest of the family later returned to the other island to get a sample of the meteorite so they could find a cure. Bumblebee to the Rescue
Kade was put out by Cody using anti-gravity sneakers during their basketball match. When Cody later called him from the lab to warn him about the rampaging blob of Squilsh, Kade took some convincing before he called out the team. They eventually tracked the Squilsh to the Griffin Rock Community Pool, where Graham and Boulder took care of it. You've Been Squilshed When the townspeople started rapidly disappearing thanks to some mechanical bugs, the team retreated back to the fire station where Kade made a pain of himself while Graham tried to dissect a bug they'd caught. When it turned out to be part of the Sanctuary Plan project, Kade took Cody and Frankie to the lab to check the information there, but was teleported by the bugs to an underground cavern and had to be rescued with the rest of the townsfolk. On hearing reports of a ghost, Kade scoffed. After encountering a ghost at the bank and in a restaurant which he saved from a fire, he became very unnerved indeed. As he and the team attended more sightings, it turned out that the ghosts were merely holograms used by Myles and Evan to spread panic, and Kade regained his confidence, at least up until the point where they discovered that there wasn't a hologram in the database for one of the ghosts he saw. The Haunting of Griffin Rock Kade challenged Graham to a race that went badly wrong, damaging a statue and fire hydrant. When Chase and the Chief went missing, Kade and the others stayed out all night looking for them. They eventually tracked the pair to the lead mine, where Kade attempted to rescue the Chief from a flooded cavern. Little White Lies
Kade was keen to appear in Frankie's school film, but her filming caused the team problems as the Bots were forced to act like robots whenever she was around. Shake Up He and the rest of the team attended a pyrotechnics factory fire. When Cody endangered himself, the boy got Doc Greene to create a repulsor badge and Kade was there for the first tests. Later, after Kade failed to rescue Billy from the top of a transmitter, "Rescue Boy" saved Billy instead, but the repulsor badge overloaded, requiring Kade and the rest of the team to rescue Cody. He managed to rope Heatwave into attending a photo op with Hayley's class of preschoolers. The pair attended the testing of a time machine, and Kade's partner was transported back to 1939 with the other Bots. It's a Bot Time In an alternate reality created when history was changed, Kade and his siblings were mechanics. The trio constructed the Mobile Headquarters to combat the ruling Doctor Morocco's MorBots, though in the end they didn't use it until they needed to get a group of time traveling Rescue Bots back to their time machine. While planning another date with Hayley, Kade found himself being taken on a ride in the Mobile HQ, and subsequently had to make repairs, though he lost his toolbox to Doc Greene's new Vacuum Accelerator. During the rescue of Taylor, Kade and the rescuee were swept away by a wind gust and deposited in dense forest, where Kade sprained his ankle and had to be saved from a bear by Taylor. They were eventually rescued by the rest of the family. Road Trip He and the rest of the team had to save the town's citizens when the plants in Frankie's Sky Forest grew out of control. Sky Forest When Chief Burns was out with the flu, Kade took command. It wasn't long before he found himself contending with Cody who had been aged into an adult in a lab experiment gone wrong. While pursuing Evan and Myles, who had stolen part of the equipment needed, Kade was deaged into a child, but still managed to help Cody and the Bots capture the two criminals. One for the Ages
When an iceberg was discovered that was actually a frozen ship carrying a dangerous Sub-Zero Expander, Kade took part in an attempt to get rid of the device by blowing it up, which was aborted when it turned out Doctor Morocco had claimed the vessel as salvage. The team had to deal with the fallout when the device exploded and froze a five-mile section of ocean, as well as trapping them in their Bots. Kade and the other human members of the team were also saved when their sinking boat was unexpectedly saved by Morocco. Tip of the Iceberg Kade and Heatwave took part in rescuing a skier from Mount Griffin. After getting shocked by fist bumping Heatwave, Kade later helped with rescuing Cody and Blades from the virtual reality game. A Virtual Disaster Kade and the rest of the team were mesmerized by cellphones, forcing them to mine Blossom Vale until the spell was broken by the destruction of the cell tower. Spellbound
The rescue team was caught up in Huxley Prescott's reality show until they discovered that Huxley was creating disasters himself to spice things up. Prescott's Bots When Kade's gremlin nightmares got to the point where they were impacting his work, he sought help from Doc Greene. Unfortunately when Doc Greene's Nightmare Imaging Device conjured the gremlins into reality, they proved difficult to get rid of, draining the power from everything. When they threatened the power plant, Kade was forced to face them so he could shut the power down, and successfully conquered his nightmares. Blame the Gremlins When Cody photographed what he thought was the Maine Ridge Monster, Kade suggested it was just Mr Talbott. It later transpired that the "Magic Meat" that Mayor Luskey had been selling was Fo-Foo, an experimental food with lycanthropic side effects, and the team had to track down Luskey and Graham who were both infected. Feed the Beast
During a visit by Uncle Woodrow, the team were joined by Optimus Prime come to investigate an energon deposit, and ended up having to mount a rescue mission to a deep cavern to rescue Woodrow and Cody. What Lies Below When the expedition ended with the team being trapped underground, Kade found himself in a cavern with Dani, Graham, Blades, and Boulder. Kade grumbled with Graham and Boulder over their efforts to use Boulder's sensors to locate a way out, but followed them regardless. Kade later made his way to the surface along with the others after the team reunited. What Rises Above
The team was present for the launch of a new space elevator, the Asgard piloted by Graham and Doc Greene. Following an asteroid impact on the elevator, Kade and the team had to deal with debris falling onto the town. They were reunited with the astronauts after the Rescue Bots brought the pair back from space. Space Bots After the team captured a mechanical bull, Cody was accidentally transported with it via Beam Box to the Island of Misfit Tech. Heatwave was sent there to find him, and when he failed, Kade was transported there as well and found himself under attack by Security Droids. He eventually found Cody and Heatwave, so they could all return to Griffin Rock. The Island of Misfit Tech
When the town's new computer Vigil took over and forced everyone to stay indoors, the rescue team had to break into the laboratory via the tunnel system and take it down. The Vigilant Town As part of the rescue team, Kade went on the Lad Pioneer hike with Hayley, but was disappointed to be buddied with Dani. When the Buddy Bracelets became permanently locked, Kade was forced to take his sister along with him on a snake roundup. They failed to learn any valuable lessons about cooperation and continued bickering until the bracelets were deactivated. Buddy System A plague of metal objects being pulled into the air turned out to merely be the work of a super-magnet, though it resulted in the team making a trip to Wayward Island to check it out. In Search of the Griffin's Nest
When Chase appeared to join Evan and Myles during their crime spree, Kade jumped to the conclusion that Chase had turned against the team. It later turned out that Chase had merely gone undercover to learn the pair's plan, though it was too late to save Kade's pinball score. He and the rest of his family had to engage in low-tech rescues after the Tech Wrecker disabled the town's tech. Bots and Robbers
The team was also temporarily joined by a dog which Cody dubbed Noble after they saved it from the ocean. Rescue Dog When Heatwave was called to the mainland by Optimus Prime, Kade insisted on accompanying him. It turned out Heatwave as to undergo training to take on a third mode, resulting in Kade coming up with a number of suggestions. They were traveling back to Griffin Rock when they saw the fires caused by Morocco's weather machine, and Heatwave took on a fire boat form so they could return faster and save the day. Changes
When lightning struck the Power Planter, causing it to run wild, the team had their work cut out cleaning up after it, but they were eventually able to lure it into a trap. Movers and Shakers Kade took part in a hunt for a Cybertronian relic with Bumblebee, and later had to help deal with the catastrophes the device caused around the island. Odd Bot Out The rescue team was assigned to complete the rail tunnel to the mainland. After completing that, they wre roped into being on the inaugural journey of the Griffin Rock Express, but ended up having to try to halt the train after it malfunctioned. They were plucked from the crashing train by the Rescue Bots and Frankie. The Griffin Rock Express
After a game of Rescue Ball, the team rescued Mayor Luskey from a predicament on a bridge, only to find the mayor was suffering from amnesia. When the Rescue Bots later started acting oddly, the Burns family discovered that they had somehow been replaced by fakes. The family started searching for their friends and when there was an explosion at the docks, they found the Bots, who had been hoodwinked by Doctor Morocco into thinking the Burns family were criminals. Double Villainy After the amnesiac Rescue Bots instinctively saved the Burnses from a wave, the Burnses persuaded them to return to the fire house, where the Bots were soon convinced they were all on the same side. As the chain reaction set off by the explosion threatened to sink the island, Kade heated up some hot wings (because it might be a while before they got to eat again). The team borrowed some tech from the Greenes, and were able to save Griffin Rock by reinforcing the tunnel system with foam. They also arrested Doctor Morocco, who had wiped the Bots' memories, and the damage was able to be reversed. Rise of the Heroes
