At first, Shūta Gō (剛 秀太 Gō Shūta) was part of a long-standing tradition, fulfilling the role of the Autobots enthusiastic young human ally. However, not long after the death of his father, Professor Gō, Shūta became something much more. Bonded to the Transtector from the planet Master, Shūta became Goshooter (ゴーシューター Gōshūtā), a Headmaster Junior and a true Autobot warrior, able to help his friends an allies in new, dangerous, but always exciting ways.

Whether in the form of a human or a Transformer, Shūta is always eager for new challenges and willing to jump into dangerous situations without hesitation... or thought, really. He means well, but he tends to leap before he looks, and his brain-mouth filter could use some work. A skilled soccer player, Shūta is close friends (and friendly rivals) with fellow Headmaster Junior Cab, and they both have a slight crush on their teammate Minerva.

Once upon a time, Shūta had a pretty normal life. He went to school, he did his homework, and he was friends with one of the scientists at his father's observatory research center, "Mr. Hawk," who trained him and helped him to improve his soccer skills. On the day that a cruise liner was sunk off the coast of Canada by two monstrous creatures, however, everything changed. Mr. Hawk revealed to Shūta that he was not from Earth—in truth, he was Metalhawk, leader of a secret cell of Autobot Pretenders who had long been protecting Earth in secret. The monstrous creatures were Decepticons, who had restarted their campaign against Earth, and Metalhawk and the Pretenders were forced to return to battle once more. Shūta followed Metalhawk into the nearby city on his motorcycle to watch him battle a Tentakil, but wound up trapped in the clutches on the slimy Seacon. With the help of his fellow Pretenders, Metalhawk defeated the Decepticons and rescued Shūta. Rise Up!! Pretenders

When news of a Decepticon attack on the Karin Islands reached the Autobots, Shūta convinced Metalhawk to allow him to go along. On the Karin Islands, he met the local prince, Cab, but their first encounter was a rough one, with Cab attacking Shūta because he thought he was a robot in disguise like the Pretenders. Once the misunderstanding was cleared up and the Decepticons were defeated, the two boys became quite friendly, and Cab decided to accompany Shūta and the Pretenders back to Japan. Upon their return, however, the group discover that Shūta's father's observatory had been attacked by the Decepticons, and Professor Go had been fatally wounded. The professor handed Shūta the key to the Autobots' new base and died before his son's eyes. Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt

Shūta and Cab soon found something else to fight over when they met Minerva, a young girl from Mont Porte, while helping the Autobots to rescue the scientist Professor Blanieux from the Decepticons. Not long thereafter, Shūta, Cab and Minerva's determination to help the Autobots in their fight prompted Metalhawk to make them a remarkable offer. Given Master-Braces, which enhanced their strength and reflexes with Chōkon Power, and Transtectors to which they could bond, the three kids became Headmaster Juniors and could now fight alongside the Autobots as true Transformer warriors. Shūta had to learn, however, that his powers were for rescuing innocents first and fighting Decepticons second. His first clash with the Decepticons' own team of Headmaster Juniors put his resolve to the test when he had to rescue a baby from a burning building without sinking to the Decepticon Juniors' level and fighting back. Metalhawk helped to take out the young punks, and Shūta saved the child, in the process learning the importance of putting the lives of others ahead of defeating his enemies. {{storylink|Birth! Despite learning this lesson, Shūta's new powers still made him a touch on the arrogant side, and a chewing-out from his soccer coach was soon followed by a trip to America to train with Diver. While searching for the Decepticon base, Shūta was approached by the repentant Clouder, who offered to take him there. Shūta warily agreed to accompany to see if his claim was legitimate before radioing the other Autobots, but while Clouder's intentions were good, the other Decepticons caught wind of the pair's approach and ambushed them. Captured and thrown in a dungeon, Shūta naturally assumed Clouder had betrayed him and began pummeling the Godmaster. Overlord was gentlemanly enough to correct Shūta's misconception, but proceeded to use the Headmaster Junior as a bargaining chip, summoning Ginrai to the base in exchange for his supposed safety. Shūta continued playing soccer in this alternate universe, but while arguing with Wheelie about the advantages of the sport, his practice was interrupted by the Galvatron transtector attacking. Battling the intruder alongside Wheelie, Shūta used his soccer skills to deflect the Megatron head that was kicked at them before having Wheelie kick him at Galvatron while firing his head-mode guns. This "Vulcan Header Attack" both defeated Galvatron and increased Wheelie's interest in soccer, though to Shūta's disappointment, he only saw it as another method of pranking people. LG29 Wheelie Since all their friends had found jobs, Shūta and Bullhorn wanted to be useful too and signed up with the Astrotrain Transport Company, which promised all employees a free transtector. Unfortunately, their boss Astrotrain was evil and had rigged the transtectors to lock the Headmasters in so that they would work for him forever as slaves. He had Shūta and the others attack the Autobot base, but since he'd refused to feed them, they soon ran low on energy and the locks were deactivated. A new Godbomber was built in the Legends World only for its parts to be stolen by the Decepticons, though the main Headmaster component was left behind. : The pewter version of the figure has a potential problem with connector peg breakage at the shoulders, due to said pegs often getting a layer of pewter paint before being forced into a socket, leading to sticking and tearing. Shūta Gō is a human and Autobot Headmaster Junior from the Generation 1 continuity family.
The S is short for Sucker

At first, Shūta Gō (剛 秀太 Gō Shūta) was part of a long-standing tradition, fulfilling the role of the Autobots enthusiastic young human ally. However, not long after the death of his father, Professor Gō, Shūta became something much more. Bonded to the Transtector from the planet Master, Shūta became Goshooter (ゴーシューター Gōshūtā), a Headmaster Junior and a true Autobot warrior, able to help his friends and allies in new, dangerous, but always exciting ways.

He should really have a helmet on.

Terror! The Decepticons' Manhunt

.....told ya.

Shūta and Cab soon found something else to fight over when they met Minerva, a young girl from Mont Parta, while helping the Autobots to rescue the scientist Professor Blanieux from the Decepticons. Shūta and Cab proved instrumental in saving the professor, overpowering a Destroid stewardess that had been sent to capture him, and Minerva joined them in attending the International School. Kidnapping!? The Targeted Jumbo Jet

Birth! Headmaster Jrs

Despite learning this lesson, Shūta's new powers still made him a touch on the arrogant side, and a chewing-out from his soccer coach was soon followed by a trip to America to train with Diver. He and Cab mastered their teamwork fighting Seacons and the Decepticon Juniors again, Rage!! Little Devils with No Need for Rules and later on during their American vacation, Shūta was instrumental in rescuing a boy named Chris from Wilder. Go, Goshooter - Showdown in the Wasteland

They aren't fighting...their hair just got tangled.

Back in Japan, Shūta, Cab and Minerva enrolled in a hang-gliding contest, during which they came under attack from the newest addition to the Decepticon army, the Godmaster brothers, Hydra and Buster. Super Warriors - The Godmaster Brothers After a further altercation with the new villains in the Karin Islands, Shūta demanded to know why the Autobots did not have Godmasters of their own, A Fierce Battle!! The Autobots Are in Trouble but his wish soon came true with the appearance of Ginrai. Shūta and the Autobot Juniors travelled to America to meet their new comrade, Ginrai: God On of Rage!! and soon after, welcomed him to Japan when he came to visit the Autobot base. This also proved to be the first chance to battle alongside him, when they all tangled with the Decepticon Juniors and briefly captured Cancer. A Strange Friendship: Cancer and Minerva Friendship came quickly between Ginrai and the Juniors, and Shūta gave him the grand tour of the Autobot base. Friend or Foe!? The True Form of the Monster!!

Summer got off to a rocky start when Shūta attempted to stop Cab from peeping on Minerva and the other female pupils during their swimming classes at school, Lightfoot: A Dramatic Encounter but once summer vacation set in, the team enjoyed a trip to the Rocky Mountains in Canada, where they met Ranger. An Enemy? The Third Godmaster, Ranger The summer held several more exciting times for Shūta, like when he was mistaken for Ginrai by Sixknight A Powerful Foe!! Sixknight the Wanderer or when he met the famous F1 racer Road King (who turned out to be a Godmaster). Assemble! The Four Godmaster Gunmen Even a return trip to the Karin Islands resulted in more mayhem when the Autobots became caught up in another Decepticon plot in the area. Save the Little Girl! The Chōjin Warriors, the Godmasters

Domo Arigato, Mister Roboto

As the new school term began, a strange television program caught Shūta and Cab's attention when the mysterious fortuneteller featured on the show revealed the existence of the Autobots and Decepticons to the world. This was, of course, a Decepticon plot to turn Humanity against the Autobots, and Shūta and the Juniors did their part to help turn public opinion around by helping rescue people from a flood caused by the villains. Expose the Decepticons' Dark Trap!

Shūta and the other Juniors were left with little to do when the Autobots funnelled their resources into the "Bomber Project", aiming to create Godbomber, a drone that would give Ginrai the power to fly and fight in space to battle the approaching Decepticon super-weapon BlackZarak. After BlackZarak was repelled, however, the Juniors discovered that they too possessed a link with Godbomber and were able to control and transform it by uniting their Chōkon Power. Destroy Godbomber!!

Shūta tasted the bitterness of true defeat when the final Godmaster, Clouder, sided with the Decepticons and helped arrange an assault on the Autobot base. With only Shūta, his fellow Juniors and Metalhawk to protect it, the base was a lost cause, but Shūta refused to abandon his father's last great work. Nonetheless, the base was destroyed by the Decepticons' attack. Disaster! The Autobot Base Explodes

During a later outer space battle with BlackZarak and the Decepticons, Grand Maximus's battleship was sent plummeting into Earth's atmosphere when its tachyon converter was knocked offline. Setting personal safety aside, it was Shūta who saved the day by donning a rocket pack and reactivating the converter. When the ship reactivated with a judder, he was thrown free and continued his searing re-entry, only to be swept up by Ginrai just before impacting. Crisis! The Day of Human Extinction

Held in the grip of King Poseidon, Shūta cried out for his commander to forget about him and fight back against Overlord. Thankfully, the equation was soon balanced out by Cancer, who turned against the Decepticons and freed Shūta. Decepticon defeat and Autobot escape immediately followed, God Ginrai: Showdown at the Decepticon Base and not long after, Shūta participated in a large-scale Autobot attack on the Decepticon base, culminating in its destruction. The Ultimate Combination!! BlackZarak, the New Lifeform

On a mission to stop BlackZarak in the Grand Canyon, Shūta, the other Juniors and Ranger were attacked by King Poseidon, and Shūta was seized by Buster and had a gun put to his head. The tables were luckily turned by the arrival of Ginrai, and the Decepticons retreated to Europe. Autobots! Desperate Attack!! Shūta and the Juniors again ran afoul of King Poseidon as the team scaled the Matterhorn, Malevolent and Inhuman! The True Form of Devil Z and they could only watch and cheer as Ginrai engaged in his final battle with BlackZarak. When the Decepticon adopted a new, serpentine form, Ginrai called upon Shūta and the Juniors for their power, and the three kids were transported into his chest cockpit. There, they added their Chōkon Power to Ginrai's to create the "Final Fire Guts" attack, with which BlackZarak and Devil Z were both finally destroyed.

In the wake of Devil Z's destruction, however, the bond between the Autobots and their Transtectors was broken, and Shūta became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. Wandering

Legends comic

[edit]

In 2021 after the Masterforce War, Shūta, Cab, and Minerva went into space with Fortress Maximus's crew in order to find the missing former Decepticon Headmaster Juniors. LG24 Shockwave & Cancer Prologue The three were then caught up in a battle between Fortress Maximus's and Scorponok's troops. When Scorponok detonated a nearby black hole, Fortress had Wheelie take the humans to safety, and so they avoided being infected with "black balls" like the other Autobots. Headmaster Chapter Prologue The humans would join the Autobots in the Legends World, where they reunited with the former Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, who brought them new Headmaster-Braces from Grand. LG24 Shockwave & Cancer Prologue

Shūta and the rest detached and fled, leaving the train-mode transtectors ramming into Astrotrain. LG40 Astrotrain Flywheels, another of Astrotrain's victims, later recalled that Shūta had been there. LGEX Headmaster Set Chapter

A new Godbomber was built in the Legends World only for its parts to be stolen by the Decepticons, though the main Headmaster component was left behind. Shūta, Cab and Minerva communed with the drone like they had before, endowing it with life, then accompanied it into battle with the false Godbomber. LG42 Godbomber After being gobbled up by Trypticon and used as a power source, LG43 Trypticon Shūta was seen on the streets of the rebuilt Neo Akihabara City. Targetmaster Chapter Prologue He and Wheelie later got part-time jobs at Blurr's delivery business. Late Xmas Present Chapter The Headmaster Juniors accompanied Ginrai on a delivery job to Bonapar Island, where they were attacked by a revived Giga and Mega who separated Ginrai and Godbomber from their transtectors. Shūta helped save the day by kicking Cab and Minerva's head modes onto the headless bodies, allowing them to drive off their attackers. LG-EX God Ginrai Giga and Mega later lured them to their Chōkon Tower Chinese Restaurant to settle the score with Ginrai, and the Headmaster Juniors assisted in the duel by sitting inside Godbomber and lending it their power. LG60 Overlord They were among the Masterforce warriors to join forces and defeat Devil Z, again by powering up Godbomber. LG-EX Grand Maximus

Train Wars

[edit]

Shūta Gō would one day reunite with his living transtector, Goshooter. He obtained a new form of transtector from the factory in G Nebula 89, becoming a "Godmaster Jr". This new form of the Masterforce system allowed Shūta to transform into a helicopter and into a plasma energy rifle that endowed the holder with Chōkon Power. Generations Shūta Gō bio Eager to show off his new power, he got his chance when Darkwings, Black Shadow, and Blue Bacchus attacked the Second Army at G Nebula 89 in an attempt to capture the transtector factory. Before he got to action, though, he bickered with Goshooter over whether it was safe to use his still-unfamiliar abilities. Black Shadow eventually got sick of their arguing and shot at them, prompting the duo into action. With Shūta as the plasma rifle, they were able to blast the Crossformers away with a combination of all three types of Chōkon. Darkwings fled in fear, and the two partners went back to verbally one-upping each other, to the annoyance of their comrades. Train Wars: Goshooter & Shūta Gō Chapter

When The Fallen attacked Cybertron in the hopes of merging with Vector Sigma, Overdrive sought additional help using the power of his Quantum Dial. Further empowering the dial with the help of the Oracle, Overdrive reached across space and time to recruit Goshooter and Shūta Gō, as well as other inter-dimensional warriors.

The reinforcements were no match for the Fallen's combination mode, however, and soon Goshooter and Shūta Gō were the only warriors left untouched. The two of them tag-teamed the Fallen's minion Smokescreen, using a love of soccer to kick the villain into submission. When Goshooter was impaled by the Fallen's spikes, though, Shūta and Daniel Witwicky attempted to stop the Fallen from assimilating Vector Sigma. Shūta was nearly consumed along with the orb, but Daniel and his partner Shouki blasted them free. Shūta turned Vector Sigma over to Goshooter, who scored a big goal by kicking the orb right into the Fallen's ugly face.

When the battle was over, Shouki and Goshooter said their goodbyes while Shūta teased Daniel about his age. Train Wars 2

Super-God Masterforce comic

[edit]

When the Decepticon Pretenders attacked the Karin Islands, Shūta accompanied his Autobot friend Metalhawk there and attempted to persuade the local prince, Cab, to back down from the fight. Cab responded by slugging Shūta one and telling the foreigner to keep out of it, but was shocked into silence when the Pretenders dropped their disguises and revealed their robotic forms. Shūta explained the origins of the Pretenders as Metalhawk routed the Decepticons, and said that he would introduce Cab to the Autobot hero. Gods? Demons? The Pretenders

Back in Japan, Cab and Shūta attended the International School together and soon discovered that Metalhawk had recruited their classmate, Minerva. Metalhawk explained that the three kids were going to help fight the Decepticons, and after a period of intensive training, they were given Master-Braces and Transtectors and became Headmaster Juniors. Shūta and Cab immediately went joyriding in their Transtectors and ran into trouble when they encountered a Lobclaw Seacon, but Metalhawk saved them—though not without chastising them for their lack of teamwork. Burn, Chokon! New Commander Super Ginrai! God Ginrai's Amazing Divine Combination!

During a later battle between Metalhawk and Blood, Metalhawk summoned the Headmaster Juniors to aid in the rescue effort in the surrounding city. Shūta and Minerva were forced to sneak out of the International School dormitory, and they and Cab then met their opposite numbers in the Decepticon Headmaster Juniors, whom they defeated. Shūta was not best pleased about having had his night's sleep ruined, but Minerva pointed out that it was Sunday tomorrow anyway. The Battle of Destiny - Children of Good and Evil

Shūta and the Juniors soon met and befriended the Autobot Godmaster Ginrai, On Scene! The Earth-Space Alliance Army With the other Autobot Masterforce warriors, Shūta fought Grand King Poseidon on Earth. Headmasters VS Masterforce

At one point, Shūta and Cab were captured by the Decepticons and tortured by Blood. Mega and Giga hoped that the two boys would join their twisted Decepticon family, but Shūta refuted the notion that the villains were any kind of family at all. Thankfully, they were rescued by Minerva and Ginrai, and as they recuperated, the boys laughed about how the two seemed to be filling the roles of their mother and father. The Decepticons' Great Counterattack! Life or Death? The Desperate Divine Combination! The Great Turnabout of the Autobots

In the final battle against BlackZarak, the villain turned on his fellow Decepticons, leading them to unite with the Autobots in defeating him. All of the Transformers boarded Grand Maximus and charged him with their energy before he crashed straight into BlackZarak, obliterating him and Devil Z. The death of Devil Z caused the bond between the humans and their Transtectors to be broken, and Shūta became a normal kid again as his now-living Transtector and those of all the other Autobots headed into space to continue the fight against the Decepticons. [edit]
Saint Seiya!

When a new Transformer war erupted on Earth, Shūta and Cab decided to check out the new Supreme Commander, Star Saber, thinking that he wasn't a patch on God Ginrai. They appeared in the middle of a battle between Star Saber and the Decepticons, lecturing the adopted human sons of the two faction leaders (Jan Minakaze of the Autobots and Solon Kitakaze of the Decepticons) on how much better Ginrai was. In mid-pontification, however, the boys were attacked by Dinoforce member Kakuryu. Star Saber swooped in to save them and hurled Kakuryu over a cliff, but as the Decepticon clawed at the edge of the crevice, Star Saber showed mercy and helped him back up. This was enough to convince Shūta and Cab that Star Saber was a good egg, and they cemented their friendship with Jan. Star Saber, Warrior of Love! Jan was later invited by the boys to Cab's treehouse, but that didn't turn out to be such a good idea, since Yokuryu smashed up the place and captured Jan. Danger, Jan! Hurry, Star Saber!

Shūta and Cab established themselves as members of Star Saber's Autobot warriors when they got new suits of armor modeled on the Brainmasters. (Shūta wore a suit based on Braver.) Star of Friendship, Jan and Star Saber! Their little group of armored humans, the "Victories", was soon joined by Jan's sister Patty to whom both boys took a liking, The Strongest Pair, the Combination of Victory! despite her making the boys scrub and clean the Autobot base. Victory Saber Is Strong! More surprisingly, they were joined by Solon, who betrayed the Decepticons when he learned his true heritage. With their team now completed, they were able to channel their power into their respective Autobot counterparts to form the Victory Blade attack, soundly thrashing Deathsaurus and Liokaiser in one blast. Shine, Five Stars of Victory

Shūta, Cab and the other Victories were all aboard Galaxy Shuttle during the final battle between the Autobots and Deathsaurus's planet-destroying fortress. When the battle was done, they all boarded the fortress with the other Autobots and Decepticons and witnessed Deathsaurus's disclosure that the fortress contained all the Decepticon civilians. This revelation led to the laying down of Autobot and Decepticon arms and the beginning of a new age of peace. Shūta and Cab glomped Patty in happiness. The Grand Victory War

Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers

[edit]

  • Goshooter (Headmaster Junior, 1988)
  • ID number: C-301
  • Accessories: Headmaster Transtector, helmet/seat, rifle, left & right small pistols
Released in the fourth year of Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers line under the Super-God Masterforce banner, Shūta Gō is identical to the Hasbro-release Quig: a small armored humanoid that transforms into a robot head compatible with any Headmaster body.
He comes with his Headmaster Transtector, a redeco of the Hasbro-release Siren, transforming into a white Toyota Supra police car. The roof is hinged and can be opened to reveal an interior in which Shūta can sit, using his head-mode helmet as a seat. His head guns can be stored on the hood while his rifle can be plugged onto the roof.
In robot mode, like all Headmaster toys, the Goshooter transtector has a flip-down panel on its chest which covers a spring-loaded mini-Tech-Spec-meter which gives reads for Speed, Strength, and Intelligence. The tumblers are activated when Shūta (or any other Headmaster unit) is plugged into his neck socket. Shūta has the transtector's face plainly visible on his back because, as a smaller Headmaster toy, he lacks the flip-down panel featured on larger Headmasters.

  • Goshooter Siren (Headmaster Junior, 1988)
  • Accessories: Headmaster transtector, helmet/seat, rifle, left & right small pistols
A Siren-decoed version of Goshooter was made available via mail-order offer in Japan. He cost 1800 yen and four Robot Points.
It is unknown if he came in a plain mailer box or in Hasbro packaging with Japanese-language stickers, but it seems highly likely.

Generations (Japan)

[edit]
  • Goshooter (Deluxe, 2015)
  • Release date: March 10, 2015
  • Accessories: 2 blasters, rotors
Available only as a mail-away exclusive offered through Transformers Generations 2014 Vol. 2, this Generations two-pack includes the Goshooter Transtector in the form of a retool of Generations: Thrilling 30 Nightbeat and Shūta Gō as a redeco of the same line's Blazemaster. Goshooter transforms into a sports car that mimics the original toy's police deco (the most obvious omission being his lightbar) and comes with two blasters which peg via 5 mm post into his hands, forearms, and rear vehicle sides, and can also combine into a large weapon. Magazine previews have shown the combined weapon attached to Goshooter's leg as a booster to give him superpowered kicks.
Meanwhile, Shūta transforms into a helicopter, a robot with 3 mm-compatible hands, and a 5mm-handle weapon to be held by the Transtector. His robot mode deco harkens to his armoured appearance in Masterforce, complete with green visor. Magazine previews explain this Shūta 'has grown into a fine young man', making him the first of the former Masterforce characters to meet up with his living Transtector.
Goshooter originated as one of ten possible toy concepts shown in Transformers Generations 2014 Vol. 1, with a poll being held to choose which of the figures would be produced. Goshooter won with 29.3% of the votes.[1]
Shūta's mold was also used to make Movie Advanced Series Micron Jolt and Generations Spinister.

Wheelie's new human friend.
  • Wheelie & Goshooter (2-pack, 2016)
Released in the fourteenth wave of TakaraTomy's Legends toys, Goshooter is a redeco of Generations Titans Return Loudmouth, transforming into a head for any Titans Return Titan Master/Legends Headmaster-compatible toy. As a redeco of a Titan Master figure, Goshooter is also compatible with any of the vehicle partners from that line.
Like Loudmouth, Goshooter features misassembled thighs.
He was only available in a two-pack with Wheelie that does not include Loudmouth's vehicle accessory. Pop him on Legends Astrotrain to re-enact scenes from "LG40 Astrotrain"!

Super-God Masterforce

[edit]
Jinchōkon bling
  • Headmaster-Braces—Goshooter (1998)
Shūta's Master-Braces came alive with this role-play set, including two silver-chromed bracelets with handcuff-style hinges, and a small clip-on "communicator" pin.

Super Collection Figure

[edit]
Go Pewta
  • Go Shooter (2002)
    • Act: 5
    • Accessories: Stand
Robot-mode Shūta was included as part of the fifth Masterforce-centric wave of Takara's Super Collection Figure line of blindpacked PVC figurines. Like all figures in the wave, he was available in both full-color and metallic silver "pewter" versions.
In eight out of every ten cases, the pewter version of Goshooter came packaged with the left arm of the Black Zarak "Build-A-Figure". This part could be in either full color or smoky-clear plastic, packed at an equal ratio of 4:4 cases.
The pewter version of the figure has a potential problem with connector peg breakage at the shoulders, due to said pegs often getting a layer of pewter paint before being forced into a socket, leading to sticking and tearing. Care should be used when moving or removing the arms; shaving down the socket interior with a thin hobby knife is usually sufficient to fix the issue.

Notes

[edit]
  • Although this article presents Shūta's name in the traditional Western manner, in Japan, a person's name is written family name first, given name last. Hence, Shūta's name is written as "Gō Shūta", this being the phonetic origin of his Transformer name, Goshooter (ゴーシューター Gōshūtā).
  • His age is listed as 13 on his Tech Spec/bio.[2]
