Transformers: Cyberworld (toyline)

Cyberworld Toyline Cartoon

First unveiled at Toy Fair 2025, the Transformers: Cyberworld toyline follows the trend of the last decade's worth of cartoon tie-in lines by primarily targeting a younger audience with simpler and easy-to-transform figures. Unlike those previous cartoon toylines, however, which tended towards each price point being its own separate uniquely-gimmicked range of figures with characters repeating across the different ranges, Cyberworld is marketed on the premise of having "cross-compatibility at every scale". Evoking the play pattern of classic action-figure-and-vehicle ranges like G.I. Joe, the toyline features a standardized four-inch scale for its core figures, thus allowing all of them to use the seats, gun turrets and other interactive elements found on the line's larger playset-style toys. In what has become a rarity in the two decades since the Unicron Trilogy ended, the toys aren't based on pre-existing designs from a movie or cartoon; instead, the characters were designed as toys first, which serve as the basis for their appearances in the cartoon.

Character factions are given less prominence on the line's packaging than is traditional for Transformers, with each toy instead branded first and foremost with one of the five environments found on the titular "Cyberworld": city, desert, ocean, jungle, and arctic. Some characters sport atypical alternate modes to tie in with their assigned environment, and when the same character has multiple figures within the toyline, they are given a unique design for each environment.

A subline imprint by the name of Energon Surge was later revealed at Toy Fair 2026, which sees figures and their weapon accessories sporting clear plastic and glow-in-the-dark paint applications; the year's large flagship Bumblebee toy features a hollow, illuminated chest cavity that can then "energize" other figures placed inside.

Cyber Changers

The toyline's core assortment, these four-inch figures have articulation at the shoulders, hips, and knees. Their simple transformations make use of surprisingly complex autotransformation mechanisms in the torso to get you most of the way there in a single step.

Armored Cyber Changers

This assortment packages a standard four-inch Cyber Changer figure with a large weapon that makes use of some kind of geared mechanism, and can break down using 5 mm posts. For the Energon Surge refresh, the geared weapons were replaced with sets of static weapons and armor pieces, cast in transparent plastic as part of the linewide energon gimmick.

Ultimate Cyber Changers

Despite the name, these figures move away from the standard Cyber Changer format, standing six to seven inches tall and with alternate modes designed for regular Cyber Changers to ride. The pricepoint debuted in 2025 with a Walmart-exclusive Megatron toy (see below), retooled from a The Last Knight toy, but returned the next year as a proper assortment with new molds. For Energon Surge, Ultimate Cyber Changers feature chests that spring open to reveal Energon crystal details, as well as the theme's standard clear-plastic weapon and armor accessories.

Larger toys

In addition to the named Cyber Changer pricepoints, the line also features a number of larger toys simply named for their own play patterns. Thus far, each year of Cyberworld has featured a nine-inch tall figure with further expanded play features for interacting with standard Cyber Changers, and an even larger centerpiece toy standing over ten inches tall, with lights and sounds among its many gimmicks.
