These are the officially announced toys for the 2009 live-action film Revenge of the Fallen.

The toyline was preceded by the Movie toyline and led directly into the 2010 Transformers toyline.

Among fans, many entries in the RotF toyline are notorious for their level of complexity - at times, baffling even the most hardcore fans of elaborate transformation schemes. The complexity would be toned down for followup toylines in subsequent years.

Wave 2 had reportedly been sighted in stores, but several months later, it appeared that the distribution was about as bad as it was for Universe Vector Prime or the last wave of the Movie Real Gear Robots. They would later end up heavily discounted and in large numbers in stores in parts of Asia.

This two-pack has been confirmed to have been released in Hong Kong, the Philippines and Australia. Despite misconceptions based on early solicitations, it appears these figures were never intended to be released individually.

• Optimus Prime & Bumblebee two-pack (Voyager and Deluxe Class, respectively)

This two-pack has been confirmed to have been released in Malaysia and was apparently also sold in Indonesia and India. The toys are unchanged from the Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Movie Deluxe Class Premium Series Bumblebee single releases.
