The Agorrians and Zertonians must face the fallout of almost achieving Unity, unaware that greater threats loom on the horizon.

Synopsis

In the depths of the Sacred Ring, Zerta Trion has brought Solila before her, entrancing her so that she cannot use any of her newly-gifted powers to escape. The ancient Cybertronian castigates her disciple for preventing Unity, as it was the only way to prevent the Quintesson superweapon Goliant from wreaking havoc on the universe. Despite Zerta's assurances that the Sacred Ring would survive, Solila no longer believes her, and so Zerta sends her away.

On Quintessa, Pythona, Vipria, and Bola prepare to attack Wheelie, who insists he means them no harm. Pythona reluctantly agrees to not attack if Wheelie tells her everything he can about the Transformers and their military capabilities. Upon learning of the civil war between the Autobots and Decepticons and how Cybertron is on the brink of collapse due to lack of Energon, Pythona realizes that the Cybertronians are far less of a threat to Cobra-La than initially believed. As she contemplates their next move, the Royal Guard notices the Quintesson Cruisers that arrived with them are beginning to leave. Pythona orders the Guards back to their Leviathan while she attempts to sneak aboard one of the cruisers to gather more intelligence.

In Agorria, with the Agorrians nearly finished rebuilding thanks to the power supplied by their new Energon refinery, Springer and Hot Rod prepare to leave. Darak thanks them for their help, and in gratitude, shows them to Hot Rod's shuttle, now retrofitted with two Agorrian launchers to help them escape the event horizon and stockpiled with Energon. The Autobots thank Darak for his generosity and depart. Director Elander, now freed and seeing the dangers that come from Unity, comes to fetch Darak for his father. In his chambers, Minister Dulin contacts Zalilak, who apologizes for letting himself be led astray to bring about Unity. The two resolve that their alliance may actually be stronger now that they no longer have to conceal the truth from their peoples, as all now know the danger. Zalilak asks Dulin for his assistance in rebuilding Zertonia, having heard of Agorria's own success, but after a moment's hesitation, Dulin tells his counterpart that there is still much to be done, and that he worries allocating resources for Zertonia will make them look weak. Zalilak acquiesces.

In the Divider Chamber of the Skuxxoid Asteroid Base, Skuxxoid Beta has recovered enough for his next dividing session, and is enthusiastic to continue, claiming to have come around on the idea, much to the delight of the robot operating the machine. He even suggests that his constitution is strong enough that he could be divided seven ways. As the Divider's blades get closer, he grabs them with his teeth and cuts himself free, launching at the controller and tearing him apart. Skuxxoid Beta then looks to the pile of newly-growing Skuxxoids on the ground, ready to lead his newborn and very confused group of Skuxxoid Liberators in revolution against Skuxxoid Alpha!

After her confrontation with Zerta, Solila has been sent to the Temple of Zerta's Light in Zertonia, imprisoned under the order of Mistress Vill, who tells Solila that she is a disgrace. Solila tries to use her command of the Sacred Ring to break free, but finds that her abilities have been stripped from her. As Vill leaves Solila to contemplate her fate, Solila realizes that she's still wearing her Handroid...

Darak meets with Dulin, who commends his son on his bravery during the recent conflict with Zertonia, believing that Darak may prove a worthy successor to him after all. Darak hesitates, frightened of the burden of leadership, but this just assures Dulin that he truly is worthy, having had those same fears. Darak is happy to finally have Dulin for an ally after all their tumult, believing that they will be able to face whatever their future holds together… unaware that a fleet of Quintesson Cruisers is approaching the Sacred Ring!
