One-Step Changers is a size class that originated in the Age of Extinction toyline and has been a part of nearly every show and movie toyline since then. The line largely consists of figures smaller than Deluxe Class that (as the name suggests) can transform in 1 step, and typically feature limited articulation. Though sometimes, a few extra steps may be needed to finish their transformation! The transformation mechanism varies by figure and line, with many using springs similar to the Activators and Rescue Bots toys while others use Automorph-type gearing/levering. Some toys in this class also had variety of gimmicks beyond just the 1-Step transformation.
Alongside Hasbro, TakaraTomy would receive some 1-Step Changers under various names of their own, including ones based on the characters from Bumblebee film.
Toys
Age of Extinction
Age of Extinction was the first toyline to feature 1-Step Changers, under its Robots in Disguise banner. The majority don't feature any spectacular gimmicks beyond their quick transformations, however the larger toys feature some cool gimmicks, including a Stomp & Chomp Grimlock with electronics that could interact with most of the One-Step Changers in the line.

Robots in Disguise (2015)
The Robots in Disguise toyline's 1-Step Changers are not too different from the Age of Extinction ones, with the exception of their badges being able to be scanned for the Mobile App.

The Last Knight
The The Last Knight toyline had the slightly renamed 1-Step Turbo Changers, with several molds reused from the Age of Extinction line. All of the figures feature flame deco printed in UV-reactive invisible ink, which can be revealed with the UV "Cyberfire" light in the large Mega 1-Step Turbo Changer Dragonstorm figure. Despite appearing as prefixes in several online retailers' listings for the wave 1 figures, the term "Cyberfire" doesn't actually appear as a gimmick call-out on the toys' packaging until wave 3, including packaging variants for additional shipments of figures that debuted in earlier waves.

Cyberverse
The Cyberverse toyline had normal 1-Step Changers in the first year, including repaints from Robots in Disguise 1-Steps for Wave 1. It introduced "Action Attack" gimmicks with Wave 3, giving each figure some kind of action feature that wasn't there with previous 1-Step Changers.

Earthspark
The Earthspark toyline had 1-Step Flip Changers, whose gimmick involved pushing the figures so they fall over, triggering a transformation into their vehicle modes. In 2025, they were replaced by 1-Step Smash Changers, with the gimmick being that you'd have to smash them to the ground in order to transform them into robot mode.

One
Like with Earthspark, Transformers One's Cog Changers involved a gimmick special to their line, where you'd slide up a transformation cog shaped panel on their chest in robot form and press it to transform them into their vehicle forms. The only 1-Step figures from the line that didn't do this were in the Iacon Race 3-Pack, which were retools of prior 1-Step molds.
