Can the Transformers on Gaia stop the Moon from impacting the planet?
Synopsis
With the control unit within, the Mother Computer simmers with energy as it continues pulling the Moon towards Gaia to destroy the Angolmois within before it can threaten the universe. Not quite willing to die, Lio Convoy and Apache try to attack the computer, only to be met with an endless array of self-regenerating mechanical tentacles. Moon is quite worried about the situation and Magnaboss tells NAVI to alert the other Maximals for assistance. Within the rapidly approaching Moon, Artemis yells out to her partner to stop the disaster.
At the Yukikaze Tasmania Kid, Diver, Scuba, and Bighorn realize the implications of the Moon crashing onto the planet they're on and worry about their mortality. NAVI approaches and alerts them to the situation with the Mother Computer, telling them that Lio Convoy needs their immediate help. Before they can reach the underground city where the Mother Computer is, their passage is blocked by the Cyborg Beasts, and the two forces battle.
At the Mother Computer, Lio Convoy and Apache are fully tangled in the computer's tentacles, and Magnaboss's attempts to cut through them prove unsuccessful. His Angolmois Ball frees his comrades, but the tentacles still remain and envelop the computer, shielding it against the Cybertronian threat.
In the Valley of Lions, the Maximals continue to fight against the Predacons, with Gigastorm joyfully thinking that they will finally end the Maximals then. Galvatron arrives on the scene, and berates his brother for not noticing the greater threat of the coming Moon, ordering him and his Predacons to withdraw and prepare for evacuation at the Galvaburg II. Galvatron remains behind, swearing to not let his plot of absorbing the Angolmois with the Nemesis be hindered by the current crisis, and privately cheers on the Maximals to stop the Moon. At the Moon itself, Artemis continues her panicking.
The Maximals are all finally gathered at the underground city, and Magnaboss asks Moon if the computer can be stopped; Moon says that the computer could be reprogrammed to stop the process, but cannot do it himself. NAVI offers, being able to understand the Gaian machines' language. The Maximals try to create a temporary opening, but the regeneration of the computer's defense system proves too resilient. Fortunately for all, Galvatron secretly uses his Galva-Matrix to blast an enduring hole in the defenses, and NAVI passes through. NAVI travels through the computer's interior before she comes across the control unit, and begins to reprogram it, but it proves much resistance. As Artemis, Galvatron, and the Maximals deal with the impeding crash in their own ways, NAVI manages to complete the reprogram with less than a second to spare, and the Moon is returned to its regular orbit.
Outside the city, Lio Convoy confronts Galvatron, recognizing his assistance in defusing the situation and thanks him for saving the planet. Galvatron plainly explains that he did it to preserve his goal of bringing peace through force via the power of Angolmois. Lio Convoy tries to explain that true peace is achieved through the connection and understanding between people and offers a handshake in light of recent events. Galvatron seemingly obliges... only to shoot at Lio Convoy, berating his naïvete. The Galvaburg II soon arrives and beams Galvatron on board. On the ship, Gigastorm explains that he didn't want to leave the planet till he had personally crushed the Maximals. Galvatron tells him to do whatever, and Gigastorm orders a bombardment of the valley, causing the underground city to collapse. Lio Convoy, saddened by Galvatron's reaction, retreats with the other Maximals.
Once in safety, Lio Junior thanks Moon for his help, and the android returns to the Moon, promising to be ever watching. Out in space, Nemesis continues to approach, triggering more violent Angolmois activity on Gaia...
Artemis & Moon II Report
Artemis welcomes Moon back to the Moon, relieved that doomsday has been averted, but notes that the Nemesis is still a threat. The Maximals already tried to stop it and failed, but it seems like Lio Convoy has another plan in store to deal with the artificial planet. Further, just what does Galvatron plan to do with the Angolmois energy that's to be absorbed by Nemesis?
