Transformers references

  • Among the Z Planet cityscape are buildings based on those from Block Town.
  • Firebolt and Blowpipe are based on their then-new Siege toys. Likewise, Grimlock and Elita One are drawn based on their Power of the Primes toys.
  • The original set of Maximals and Predacons shown in this story are the beast Mini-Cons from the fourth volume of Micron Booster. Released in 2007, their Maximal and Predacon insignia had gone unexplained till now. Also present are two Mini-Cons from the same set, Rad Rogue and Windrazor.
  • Megatron is reconstructed and brought back in body based on his Masterpiece MP-36 toy.
  • In the restored Legends World, its denizens are watching Bumblebee.
  • Knock Out shows Breakdown the schematics to the Apex Hunter Armor from the Cyberverse portion of the Beast Hunters toyline. Fittingly, it came with Breakdown.
  • The graduation ceremony of Big's class takes place in the midst of cherry blossoms; this is a callback to "Graduation Ceremony!!", where their G1 World versions used a fake cherry tree for their own graduation.
  • Rampage and Depth Charge finally make their first appearances (and likely only) in the Legends World. Previously, Depth Charge had only appeared in a promotional image made when the Legends comic was beginning to be made. Joining them are Transmutate, who Rampage developed an attachment to in "Transmutate", and Depth Charge's nuclear cybershark drone, which was characterized in the Japanese dub of Beast Wars as a speaking character named "Kobanzame Tarō".
