This article is about the scientist from Rescue Bots. For the scientist from the Generation 1 cartoon, see Greene.
Doc Greene is a human from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.
Because "Doc Brown" was taken.

Doc Greene is Griffin Rock's very own eccentric scientist. His daughter is Frankie Greene and he owns two dogs, Edison and Aristotle. His inventions, although brilliant, endanger himself, those around him, and often the entire island on a regular basis. He drives a DeLorean complete with some familiar looking kibble.

Along with Chief Burns and Mayor Luskey, Doc Greene had Doctor Morocco expelled from Griffin Rock. Green subsequently became lead scientist on the island. The Reign of Morocco

Doc Greene attended the dedication ceremony for the town's new robotic rescue team with Francine. Family of Heroes He was hanging upside-down in an attempt to increase his mental acuity when he received a call from his daughter's friend Cody Burns, who asked about any volcanoes on the island. Doc Greene filled him in on Mount Magma and suggested that they try to deal with the lava problem by gradually releasing the pressure. Under Pressure

The Doc's experimental solar car went out of control, carrying him through the streets of Griffin Rock. Luckily the Rescue Bots prevented any major damage, and stopped the car. Doc Greene regarded the test as a success, apart from the control issues. While he was working on a newspaper dispenser to replace the one he ran over, Dani Burns visited and he was able to supply her with an old scoop claw he had in storage. Hotshots

"As soon as I get this up to 88, I'm going to go back in time and stop myself inventing it!"

While filling parade balloons with helium, Doc Greene was accidentally whisked into the air when the lobster balloon he was filling got loose. He was rescued by the Burns family and their robots, and overnight developed floatium, a more reliable version of helium, which he used in all of the balloons. Unfortunately the floatium ended up turning a tank full of lobsters into flobsters, and Greene had to quickly develop a new compound to get rid of the floatium. Flobsters on Parade

Doc Greene built a SETI dish for Huxley Prescott so the reporter could search for aliens. Unfortunately Prescott failed to follow safety instructions, and when Greene tried to turn it off, it was out of control and in danger of destroying the island. Fortunately the Burns family and their robots destroyed the dish. The Alien Invasion of Griffin Rock He took Cody and Frankie to Griffin Rock Zoo to celebrate Earth Day. Walk on the Wild Side Greene had some nanites stored in his laboratory for some reason. Cody on Patrol

Inspired by an accident on the island, Doc Greene created the Turbo Cycle and got Kade to be a test subject. When Cody wanted to try it instead, Frankie talked him into instead baby-sitting the Robo-Baby the doc had developed to record baby-related data. Greene was so impressed with the results, he let Cody test the cycle, and gave the Robo-Baby to Kade for a week. Four Bots and a Baby When Cody wanted to engineer a snow storm, Doc Greene happily supplied him with a weather machine which they set up in the town square. A snowball accident damaged the machine, and the doc had to take it back to his lab to repair it. Christmas in July When the island's automatic lighthouse failed to come on, Greene copped the flack from Mayor Luskey and soon discovered that the lighthouse's electro-magnetic sensors had been damaged. The sensor beneath his floating research lab was also attacked, and he downloaded the video from it to discover a mechanical shark was behind the attacks. Deep Trouble

Would you care for a cup of my tea substitute? Only three of the test subjects turned bright green this time, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

After several break-ins at the lab, Doc Greene reprogrammed the dinosaur from the museum as a butler/guard dog. Unfortunately someone implanted a virus in Trex, which then infected the island's mainframe, and Greene had to disinfect the computer while dodging an out-of-control Trex. He succeeded in doing both that and purging the virus from Trex. Unfortunately Mayor Luskey, furious about the whole affair, relieved Greene of his post as lead scientist. Return of the Dino Bot Greene and Frankie went to stay at Mrs Neederlander's bed and breakfast, and Greene occupied himself building bird houses. He and his daughter were in his solar car when it went rogue, though they got out before it attempted to flatten the mayor and was crushed by the MorBot. The Other Doctor He found the reason for the failure in the remains of the car—a canister of nanites—but it wasn't enough to convince the mayor, and he began packing to move to the mainland. As it turned out, he didn't need to go, as Cody and Frankie found evidence incriminating the recently-returned Morocco, who had been behind the recent technology failures, and Greene was reinstated as lead scientist. The Reign of Morocco

"Now it's important that you hold very still. This hasn't been properly tested yet."

He and Frankie gave a demonstration of the Minimizer at the Hall of Inspiration during which he recklessly endangered Mrs Neederlander. When the device was later damaged during a break-in, he fixed it more or less so that Cody could return the Rescue Bots to their normal size. Small Blessings Cody consulted Doc Greene when he found a plate with strange markings and they dug up a recording of Professor Anna Baranova. After the Professor herself was brought up from the sea floor where she'd been for the last 28 years, Greene set about building her a replica of the Midgard which Frankie took as a sign he liked her. The Griffin Rock Triangle

Doc Greene gave Chief Burns a new experimental handheld holographic generator to try out. Amazingly, it did not explode. Rules and Regulations As well as inventing anti-gravity sneakers, Doc Greene replicated samples of Squilsh brought back from Mars, and conducted tests on it. The tests went swimmingly until a sample shocked with electricity seems to come to life and started eating things. Greene was forced to rapidly trying and come up with a way to neutralize the threat, though it was ultimately Graham Burns and Boulder who worked out that alternating current was the key. Greene later gave Cody a Squilsh-powered lava lamp to give Graham. You've Been Squilshed

Doc Greene's moves are ISO 9000 compliant.

While conducting inventory in the archives, Doc Greene encountered some tracers, which transported him to a dark place that turned out to be a cavern beneath Griffin Rock. As more people were teleported in, Greene took part in an effort to dig their way out, but ultimately they were all freed by the Rescue Bots. Countdown During a ghost invasion, the Doc and Frankie got the chance to try out his Spectral Vapor Filter, though it turned out that the "ghosts" were just holograms. The Haunting of Griffin Rock Doc Greene tried to help out Frankie by busting some moves for her student film. When she remarked he was a bit rusty, he retired to the Hall of Inspiration to practice, unaware that the jukebox he was using was triggering a subwoofer stored underground which was creating tremors. Shake Up When Cody required some sort of protection, Greene was inspired by the repulsor technology in Cody's hoverboard to create a repulsor badge. Though he warned Cody not to use it too much at full power, the boy did anyway, and Doc Greene had to supply neutralizer gloves to the Rescue Bots so they could stop the badge. Rescue Boy

After Cody inadvertently discovered a time machine in a hidden room, Doc Greene found that all it required was a sufficiently powerful energy source. He used nuclear power, however during the initial test, as well as Dither going through, the portal drew the Rescue Bots, Cody and Frankie through as well. It's a Bot Time Chief Burns filled Doc Greene in on the fact that the Rescue Bots were actually aliens, so they could bring in Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Greene was soon reunited with his daughter. Bot to the Future

42 be damned.

With the help of Cybertronian technology and Boulder's technical help, Doc Greene was able to develop new and more dangerous innovative technology, including an Inspiration Counter to keep track of his inventions. The Vacuum Accelerator that they constructed turned out to be too erratic, transporting objects to seemingly random locations. Road Trip Greene was dismayed to learn that Mayor Luskey had taken experimental growth formula from the Best Left Forgotten room to make the trees in Frankie's Sky Forest grow faster. The formula resulted in the vegetation growing out of control, and Luskey suggested that Doc Greene keep the Best Left Forgotten room locked in future. Sky Forest

When a piece of his stasis machine was stolen and the remaining piece accidentally aged Cody into an adult, Doc Greene set about trying to configure the remaining part to reverse the aging without much success. Luckily the missing piece was later recovered. One for the Ages Graham consulted Doc Greene for a list of the cargo manifest when the S.S. Isolde was discovered. Tip of the Iceberg Sometime before, Doc Green built a virtual reality game. He promised Cody and Frankie that they could test it out, but a snow storm trapped him on the mainland. Chief Burns attempted to call him when Cody and Blades were trapped in the game, but the snow storm blocked out all reception. A Virtual Disaster Doc Greene was among those hypnotized by cellphones. He tried to lure Cody into a trap, but the boy managed to elude the townsfolk. Later, after everyone was freed from their mesmerized state, he turned up to help fix Blossom Vale. Spellbound

Following Huxley Prescott's attempt at rigging a reality show, Doc Greene was stuck having to deal with a dam full of Squilsh. Prescott's Bots He had the opportunity to test the Collision Foam Cannon he'd developed with Boulder when a plane was heading for the laboratory, and luckily the invention worked. He later fired up the Nightmare Imaging Device to help Kade with some nightmares, only to end up creating a horde of gremlins which threatened Griffin Rock. Blame the Gremlins

"Now we're in space, we can try out the oxygen supply system I invented!"

Doc Greene developed a Magnetic Insta-Grill, which worked perfectly until Mayor Luskey overloaded it with "Magic Meat", at which point it shot down a blimp. Greene later identified the meat as Fo-Foo. Feed the Beast He volunteered to be on of the crew of the Asgard space elevator, though he almost forgot the launch and had to be reminded by Frankie. He also forgot the air sick bags, which resulted in him missing lunch. When the Asgard was damaged by an asteroid strike, he and Graham sheltered in the Asgard greenhouse until they could be rescued by the Rescue Bots. Space Bots

When the rescue team brought him an mechanical bull, Doc Greene opted to use the Beam Box to send it to the Island of Misfit Tech, but inadvertently sent Cody as well. After Heatwave and Kade were sent through, Doc Greene was finally able to retrieve them all. The Island of Misfit Tech Doc Greene oversaw installing Vigil in one of the lab's underground sections, and had to beef up the defenses as part of the requirements. Unfortunately Vigil then took over the town, trapping Doc Greene and Frankie in the lift until its defeat at the hands of the rescue team. The Vigilant Town

The Burns family borrowed Doc Greene's floating lab to get to Wayward Island. In Search of the Griffin's Nest When the island was threatened by a tornado, Doc Greene saw it as the perfect opportunity to test his experimental Tornadon't. The device successfully stopped the tornado in its tracks, though Doc Greene later discovered the tornado was the product of a weather machine operated by Doctor Morocco. Changes Doc Greene invented Boil Coils to heat water, though they proved effective in attracting the Power Planter too. Movers and Shakers

Doc Greene had Cody and Frankie test out the Ski-neakers he'd invented, and as a result he and Heatwave had to rescue them from a rogue wave. When a series of water-related issues cropped up, he and Frankie worked on triangulating the location of the cause, a Cybertronian relic. Odd Bot Out He developed the Phase Bit for a drilling company, the CEO of which he hadn't met. He designed the hover train that would be the Griffin Rock Express, however there wasn't time to calibrate the booster before the train's maiden journey. As a result, the train was sent out of control when the Mayor ordered it to speed up against Greene's advice, and though he worked to disable the malfunctioning booster, he and the others aboard had to be rescued by the Rescue Bots and Frankie, the latter of whom had borrowed the Phase Bit for superheroing purposes. The Griffin Rock Express

Doc Greene took part in a game of Rescue Ball. When Mayor Luskey later turned up suffering from apparent amnesia, Greene took him to Doctor McSwain. Double Villainy When the tunnels under the island started collapsing, Doc Greene supplied the rescue team with foam mines and Phase Bits, which they used to restore the tunnels and prevent the island from sinking. Rise of the Heroes

When a pterodactyl was sighted on Mount Griffin, Doc Greene investigated and had to call for help when the creature mistook his hang glider for a mate. He tracked the pterodactyl back to Wayward Island, and took Trex along for protection, however when he found a group of dinosaurs, Trex became trapped by a rock fall and Greene required help from Heatwave to escape the island. Land Before Prime After Optimus went feral as a result of his new dino mode, Doc Greene, Boulder, Graham and Frankie worked on diagnosing the problem. Big Game

By giving the Imaging Device more power, Doc Greene was able to get it to materialise objects from his waking mind, leading to a plethora of copies of Mister Pettypaws appearing. He later carried out a demonstration with Kade, and while it initially blew a fuse, the machine produced four copies of Kade. Greene puzzled over how the clones persisted despite possessing no obvious power source until it was discovered they each had a short-circuiting comlink. Too Many Kades

During the ten-yearly appearance of the S.S. Phantom Voyager, Doc and Frankie were out on the floating lab recording its appearance. When it vanished with most of the rescue team on board, Doc Greene was able to analyze the readings and determine the energy matched the time machine found under the Griffin Rock laboratory. Ten years later, when the ship reappeared, he passed on his findings to the returned rescue team, so they could reverse the time machine's effects and return to the present. Phantom of the Sea

Doc Greene created a huge force field dome to cover the island when it was threatened by Hurricane Opie. The dome worked, but the stabilizer supplied to complete it was used by Vigil to return to the island. Vigil used the dome's atmosphere generator to put Doc Greene and the rest of town to sleep. After Vigil's defeat, Chief Burns opted to let Doc have his beauty sleep. No Place Like Dome
