- Horri-Bull (Headmaster, 1988)
- Accessories: Kreb Headmaster pilot, concussion blaster, flamethrower/tail
- Horri-Bull came with a blue twin-barrelled weapon that doubles as his tail in buffalo mode and a hand-held flamethrower in robot mode. This toy was released in Japan without changes as the Super-God Masterforce human villain Bullhorn.

- Accessories: weapon, missile launcher, 2 missiles
- Generation 2 Jazz came with a new missile launcher—once more identified as a flamethrower in his packaging bio—that was not created for the Generation 2 line, but is a new tooling based on the launcher that came with 1991 G.I. Joe Snow Serpent figure. This launcher was also used in the Generation 2 re-releases of Sideswipe and Onslaught.
Notes
[edit]- Most likely due to Jazz's shoulder-mounted weapons being left off his character model, the Marvel artists would often depict his handheld photon rifle whenever his flamethrower was called for.
- Generation 1 cartoon Thundercracker fired a flamethrower-like weapon in "S.O.S. Dinobots", "The Ultimate Doom, Part 2", and "A Plague of Insecticons", which likely represents the cartoon's interpretation of his profile's incendiary guns.
- While the Marvel Universe profiles describe characters such as Blot, Cutthroat, and Slag as being able to breathe fire, their Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profiles explicitly describe them as having mouth-mounted flamethrowers.
