Arcee: a lot of misses until 2014.

Toys

[edit]

The Transformers

[edit]

Orange? Where'd that come from?
  • Arcee (Autobot Car?, 1986?)
Despite being a major character in The Transformers: The Movie, no transforming toy of Arcee was made during the original toyline's run. Images of a hand-sculpted prototype based on Arcee's original character design (see "Notes") have appeared in several Japanese publications—including a booklet included with The Headmasters LaserDisc set and Transformers First Series Complete—but it appears the toy never progressed beyond this stage.
This design would, however, finally see life nearly forty years later as part of the Missing Link line (see below).

  • Arcee (Headmaster, 1987?)
Pinkdome.
The Japanese Transformers Generations book shows a piece of concept artwork of the Headmaster Chromedome's car mode in pink and white, labeled "Arcee". This was evidently a proposal for a redeco of the toy as Headmaster Arcee from "The Rebirth". (Presumably, then, this was a Hasbro-initiated idea.) The idea does not appear to have gone any further.

Toy companies just keep teasing us, don't they?
  • Arcee (Action Master, 199?)
Transformers Generations 2011 Vol. 2 revealed sketches for an unproduced Action Master Arcee figure.
Man, she just could not catch a break.

Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE! Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE! Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE! Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE!
  • Arcee (Mega, 2001)
  • Accessories: Spider-fang grappling line
The very first true transforming Arcee toy is a redeco and minor retooling of the Beast Wars Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia, transforming into a malformed mish-mash of machine and organic parts in the form of a large spider. The spider mode fangs become a grappling weapon for her robot mode which extend on a retractable string. She has a special spark crystal that changes her insignia from Autobot to Maximal when rotated. The robot mode also features a spring-powered waist-swivel for "power kick" action. Arcee lacks the Blackarachnia toy's additional chest armor, and thus has oddly-placed holes in her... well, chest, that keep the armor in place.
Arcee was available only as an exclusive to BotCon 2001, and along with Tigatron was the first time since the inception of 3H that they were allowed to use existing characters for convention exclusives. (Both toys were limited to 1200 pieces.) Arcee is also the first convention toy to feature retooling. Preorders received their Arcees with a bonus; the box contained a light-sensitive sound chip featuring voice actress Susan Blu's voice saying "Don't underestimate me, I'm more than just a pretty face. Arcee, MAXIMIZE!". These chips were VERY light-sensitive, with many fans finding that the box would chatter at little provocation for years afterwards.
The box also basically places her as part of the original The Transformers toyline, though her instructions have the Beast Wars logo right up front.

Titanium Series

[edit]
Seems like a mercy killing, really.
  • Arcee (Cybertron Heroes, 200?)
Arcee was planned to be part of the Titanium Series 6-inch "Cybertron Heroes" assortment, transforming into her original Cybertronian racer mode... well, most of it, at any rate.
However, while the toy got to the prototype tooling stage, it was ultimately canceled alongside a few other new toys of long-unmade Generation 1 bots. The protoype was shown off at BotCon 2007.

Binaltech

[edit]
Well, it's progress.
  • Arcee (Binaltech, 2008)
  • ID number: BT-21
  • Release date: July 17, 2008
  • Accessories: Engine/"Dart Storm Gun", hardtop/"Riot Shield"
  • Known designers: Masakatsu Saito (concept artist)
Released in the seventeenth wave of Binaltech (the second wave of the line's revival after a nigh-three-year hiatus), Arcee is a redeco of Alternators Decepticharge (himself a retool of Windcharger/Overdrive), using Honda's "Pearl White" for the car bodywork. The figure transforms into a 1:24-scale "street performance" 2004 Honda S2000, featuring an opening hood and doors. Her hardtop roof can be removed for an open-top vehicle mode and used as a shield in robot mode. The engine and driveshaft may be removed and used as a long-barreled rifle (as the toy is Japanese issue and not subject to the same issues that removed the long barrel from the Hasbro versions of the mold).
A redeco of this toy as Paradron Medic was originally planned to be released simultaneously, but was canceled. This fate also befell a redeco meant to be Arcee's occasional mold-mate Blackarachnia. The robot mode was used as the base model for the non-toy car-form Legion.

Kre-O

[edit]
Yes, this is the closest to a transforming G1-accurate Arcee in 2013. Still, definitely progress.
  • Arcee (Kreon Micro-Changer, 2013)
  • Collection: 2
  • Bag number: *****69
  • Accessories: Stand-brick (or plate, 2015 releases only), 2 small pistols
  • Known designers: Ed Masiello (Hasbro)
As part of the second wave of Kre-O Micro-Changers, Kreon Arcee can be rebuilt into a sports car.
This Collection was still in circulation at "dollar" stores and drug stores up through 2015. They eventually lost the individual-identifying bag codes, but other changes were hidden inside the bag. The 2015 releases replaced the 2x4 logo stand-brick with a new 3x4 logo plate. The Kreon was also given the slight retooling to the arm seen in the 2014 Kreons, making the "cuff" parts more sharp-cornered and better adapted to being used as studs. Some of the add-on pieces may also be slightly off-color, possibly due to a change in factories in mid-production.

  • Kreon Class of 1984 (Kreon figure set, 2014)
  • Set number: B0090
  • Voted: Prom Queen
  • Accessories: 2 small pistols
This version of Arcee, part of the Kreon Class of 1984, uses a darker magenta base color, and has much more extensively-detailed tampographs than her Micro-Changer version, including a nose!
She was only available in a pack of 30 Kreons dubbed "Class of 1984"... despite the fact that the character of Arcee wasn't introduced until 1986. Huh. This set was made for sale at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. Remaining stock was to be sold through the Hasbro Toy Shop online store, but the set sold out at the convention.

  • Arcee (Kreon Micro-Changer, 2016)
  • Collection: 2
  • Accessories: Stand-plate, 2 small pistols
In 2016, the Collection 2 Micro-Changers were re-released in a whole new production run for Dollar General stores in the US as part of a large collection of re-released Kre-O sets. But where most of these releases are nigh-identical to the originals, the re-released Micro-Changer blind-bags use the almost-entirely-retooled 2015 Kreon, with slightly-differently-hued plastics than the originals. (It is possible for some of the add-on pieces to be in the older hues.) Arcee's paint operations have also been slightly altered (much less so than most others in the collection), mostly just replacing her white paint with a very light pink.
Sadly, this release has no individual-identification code on the bag, requiring you to use the feel-through-the-bag method or just buy blind and hope.

Generations

[edit]
And the fandom rejoiced.
  • Arcee (Deluxe Class, 2014)
  • Series / Number: 02 / #021
  • Accessories: Large gun, small gun, 2 swords
  • Known designers: Hironori Kobayashi (TakaraTomy), Yuki Ohshima (concept artist)
Released in the eleventh and final wave of Generations: Thrilling 30 Deluxes, Arcee is the holy grail that, after twenty-eight years, many thought would never happen. Unlike most Generations toys at the time, Arcee does not have an updated design or one based on the IDW comics, but instead hews to her original animated character model, transforming into a made-up "futuristic" pink and white sports car—this was done at the behest of designer Hironori Kobayashi, who based the toy on an older custom of his which won first price at BotCon Japan 1998 and which later helped land him a job at Takara. The final design was sketched out by Kiss Players artist Yuki Ohshima, who added the unsettlingly human-like hips and navel.
Arcee is armed with a pistol based on the one she wielded in the movie, a larger gun based on one she's seen using a few times in the cartoon's third season, and a pair of translucent blue swords that pay homage to her Animated and IDW incarnations; all four weapons each feature several universally-sized rectangular pegs that allows them to be tabbed into multiple matching ports in her fists, forearms, hips, shoulders, and the sides and rear of her car mode. Additionally, her two guns can store beneath her car mode, though this is not mentioned in her instructions. A mixup on the part of the photographer meant the smaller pistol does not appear in Arcee's stock photography, but rather that of her wave-mate Chromia. Thanks to an extra transformation joint in her upper thighs, Arcee's legs are very posable, and can even be crossed. Arcee's paint, in particular the pink paint on her thighs and the white paint on the car's grille, is susceptible to chipping and flaking off if care is not taken.
The initial release of Arcee had closed fists that proved a very tight fit for her weapons' unique pegs. A running change to the sculpt altered her forearm pieces to feature her hands in an open position, and with shorter thumbs, to allow more clearance. Unfortunately, a protrusion added to the lower end of the later version's hands to reduce fragility prevents the handles of her weapons from being fully inserted.[1] This second variant of the toy was the basis of most (but not all) future uses of this mold, including additional Arcees below, Legends Nightbird Shadow, Figure Subscription Service 5.0 Lifeline and Street Fighter II × Transformers Chun-Li. Her weapons were also used for Figure Subscription Service 4.0 Impactor.

Legends

[edit]
Aw, yeah, son! Dat's what I'm talkin' 'bout!
  • Released date: February 14, 2015
  • ID number: LG10
  • Accessories: Large gun, small gun, two swords
TakaraTomy's Legends Arcee is a redeco of Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class Arcee in a more cartoon-accurate color layout, replacing all of the toy's black plastic with white or grey parts. This version is based on the running change of the sculpt, featuring open hands.
She comes with a leaflet featuring a character profile, tech specs, and "Bonus Edition Volume 10" of the Legends manga.

Combiner Wars

[edit]
Interrupt my story again, Reggie! SEE WHAT HAPPENS!
  • Combiner Hunters (Multi-pack, 2015)
Combiner Hunters Arcee is a mostly-black redeco of Thrilling 30 Arcee, notable for its new accessory: a gigantic "Combiner Slayer" sword redecoed from the larger Beast Hunters Ultimate Class Optimus Prime figure. Said Optimus is much bigger than Arcee, meaning that the sword is both taller and wider than she is, neccessitating a retool to Arcee's forearms to allow her hands to hold 5 mm compatible weaponry. Unfortunately, her grip is on the looser side, especially with this mold's original weapon set, of which only the two swords are provided with this release.
Arcee's stock photos show a slightly different deco to the final toy, lacking the pink and blue stripes on her vehicle mode, featuring a white crotch and biceps, and having the Autobot insignia on her cheek in red rather than the final toy's pink.
This version of Arcee was only available in a gift set together with Combiner Hunters redecos of Generations Windblade and Chromia, each with their own giant new melee weapons. In the U.S., this set was exclusive to the Hasbro Toy Shop website and the Hasbro Toy Shop booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2015. In Asia, it was also available at Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong 2015 and subsequently stocked by Toys"R"Us Hong Kong. Later, it was also available at The Falcon's Hangar booth at Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2015.

Q-Transformers

[edit]
  • Arcee (QTF Series, 2016)
  • Release date: January 30, 2016 (regular retail, see below)
  • ID number: QTF-06
Part of the first wave of the Q-Transformers "QTF" series of toys, Arcee is a retool of Shockwave with a new head and limbs, transforming from a super deformed Toyota Crown Athlete S21 to a cute little robot.
This toy was first available for sale during a special Q-Transformers event on January 16th, two weeks before its proper release date.

Platinum Edition

[edit]
Platinum blonde.
  • Autobot Heroes (Multi-pack, 2016)
  • Accessories: Springer's weapons (dual missile launcher, two missiles, rotor blades/sword), Arcee's weapons (2 swords, large gun, small gun), Kup's "laser musket" rifle/exhaust pipe, Ultra Magnus's 2 guns, Blurr's weapons (Sniper rifle, left & right pistols), Minimus Ambus figure
Part of Hasbro's Platinum Edition offerings for 2016 intended to commemorate the 30th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, Arcee is a redeco of the Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class toy, with the running change variant's open hands. Like her Legends release, Arcee replaces all her black plastic parts and paint operations with either white, grey or pink, though her animation-accuracy is hindered by her paintjob's metallic finish. Stock renders show her with a metallic pink crotch, though the final toy has it in white.
Arcee was released as part of five-pack with Ultra Magnus (including Minimus Ambus), Autobot Springer, Sergeant Kup, and Blurr. The set also included a recreation of the theatrical poster for the 1986 movie. In the United States, this set was officially a Target exclusive, but was only available via the company's website, never sold in stores. It was also released in Singapore, although it's currently unknown whether it was exclusive to any particular stores there or not. In Canada, it was available via the Canadian Walmart website but never found in stores, whereas in the United Kingdom, it was available via the UK Toys"R"Us website and stores. In Spain, it was available via the Spanish subsidiaries of both Amazon and Carrefour, as well as the department store chain El Corte Inglés, supposedly also only avalable online. In Germany, it was available via retailer Real and specialty store Rappelkiste Ahlen, also only available online.

Titans Return

[edit]
The hobby is complete. You can all go home now.
  • Leinad & Arcee / Ultra Magnus (Multi-pack, 2017)
Titans Return Arcee is a fairly extensive retool of Titans Return Deluxe Class Blurr, transforming into a futuristic hovercar. She comes with a Titan Master, Leinad ("Daniel" backwards) who forms her robot head and fits into her cockpit. Her vehicle mode has small wheels that allow her to roll on any hard surface and a pair of smaller pegs that allow other Titan Master figures to stand on her. Her new shield/hood piece can be piloted by a Titan Master and also stow Arcee's two new weapons, which are sculpted with smaller handles in a way that they can actually be held by all the previous versions of the character. Arcee is also packaged with a solo Titan Master Ultra Magnus.
Arcee debuted at HasCon 2017, this being described as an "advanced" sale ahead of a later standard release.[2] The set was then made available on Hasbro Toy Shop on September 20th, 2017–selling out in approximately one hour–and then at Toys"R"Us and New York Comic Con 2017 beginning on October 5th, 2017.
This mold was differently retooled into Titans Return Brainstorm and Nautica.

Transformers Collectors' Club

[edit]
  • Autobot Warrior Code Name: Arcee (2017)
  • Accessories: 2 laser pistols, Autobot Sky Spy unit, display base
This figure represents Arcee's synthoid human body seen in the original cartoon season 3 episode "Only Human". It consists mostly of a combination of redecoed parts from existing G.I. Joe figures; namely, the torso, waist, and upper legs of the 2011 Renegades version of Scarlett, the arms and hands of the 2009 G.I. Joe Set version of Lady Jaye, and the lower legs and feet of Agent Helix from the 2009 Rise of Cobra line. The only new part is the head sculpt, which faithfully recreates the look of the Arcee synthoid from "Only Human", down to the animators' misinterpretation of the "buns" on the sides of robot Arcee's head (which were inspired by Princess Leia's iconic hair buns in the original 1977 Star Wars film) as one single piece of woven hair that wraps around the back of her head.
Her accessories are redecos of the UAV drone that originally came with the 2013 Retaliation Data-Viper figure, reinterpreted as a Sky Spy unit, and the guns from the same Agent Helix figure that also donated her lower legs and feet for this figure. The included display base/stand is the generic 2013 Retaliation version, with a tampographed Autobot insignia.
Despite being branded only as a Transformers product, this figure was exclusively available through both Fun Publications' G.I. Joe and Transformers Collectors' Club online stores.

Street Fighter II × Transformers

[edit]
Hey, Brush-Head! This is not a request!
  • Hot Rodimus [Ken] vs Arcee [Chun-Li] (Two-pack, 2018)
  • Release date: May 26, 2018
  • Accessories: Large gun, small gun, two swords
Available as part of the exclusive Street Fighter II × Transformers toyline, "Arcee [Chun-Li]" is another redeco of the running change variant of Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class Arcee in Chun-Li's traditional colors, flesh tones and all. She retains all four of the mold's weapons, though she probably shouldn't use them in a street fight.
Arcee was only available in a two-pack with Hot Rodimus [Ken]. This set was available for pre-order on TakaraTomy Mall from November 22 to 27, 2017, with orders fulfilled in late May 2018. A pre-order goal was set as well: if 3000 units were pre-ordered total, the set would also come with clear display stands for both toys.
This two-pack was later brought to the west in 2022 as part of the Transformers Collaborative line, released as a Target and Hasbro Pulse exclusive in the United States. These releases are functionally identical to the Takara versions; the Hasbro versions have new manufacturing tampographs, but are otherwise the same. They even have all of the Takara packaging inside the new Hasbro outer packaging!

War for Cybertron: Earthrise

[edit]
Thunderblast's ultimate rival.
  • Arcee (Deluxe Class, 2020)
  • Hasbro ID number: WFC-E17
  • TakaraTomy ID number: ER-09
  • TakaraTomy release date: November 28, 2020
  • Accessories: Blaster, hoverboard/vehicle rear
  • Known designers: Ken Christiansen (concept artist)
Part of the second wave of Earthrise Deluxe Class toys, this mold of Arcee transforms into her classic futuristic car mode and is armed with a clear blue blaster. In contrast to the 2014 Thrilling 30 Arcee mold which incorporated the chest and legs into the vehicle mode, this Earthrise toy is a true shellformer, the entire humanoid body folding up underneath a vehicle mode shell, which becomes a sizeable backpack for her robot mode. She utilizes a faux vehicle center-front for the chest, with the real part folding down behind her head. Part of the backpack (the rear half of her car shell) is designed to detach to act like a hoverboard that robot-mode Arcee can ride, by pegging her feet onto the 3 mm posts on the board designed to accommodate the War for Cybertron Fire Blast effect parts. Arcee has notably few such posts for her size, and has a similarly small number of 5 mm C.O.M.B.A.T. System ports. The lack of a 5 mm port on her back in both backpack configurations means she cannot on her own recreate Cog weaponizing her as seen in the War for Cybertron Trilogy cartoon. A new accessory packed with Red Cog would later allow this combination.
In vehicle mode, Arcee's blaster can be attached to either of her front fenders or stored out of sight beneath her hood. In robot mode, it can be stored on a port on her butt, or plug into the fender ports on her back once the hoverboard is removed. Though the figure has standard 5 mm fist holes, the blaster's handle is molded in the unusual flattened shape used by Thrilling 30 and Titans Return Arcee.
Many fans have taken it upon themselves to knock out the pin holding the backpack joint together in order to have a complete vehicle mode separate from the robot mode. Like many newer figures, her paint has been reported yellowing over time. As the spoiler in the rear of the vehicle mode is not securely plugged into the figure, it can be easily dislodged and lost through normal handling. Some fans have thus resorted to using a small amount of superglue to permanently attach the spoiler in place to prevent this.
The original stock renders have a few different paint applications compared to the final toy, depicting the car mode with grey coloring on the side panels, and the back half of the waist being painted pink and grey to match the front. Additionally, the connector that links the hoverboard to the rest of her backpack is colored pink instead of white and is attached to the backpack instead of the board.
Like all Earthrise toys, the inside of the back of Arcee's package includes an exclusive clip-and-save piece of a larger space map, along with a translucent red "decoder". Arcee's piece contains the labeled location of DOMINUS. Like most Earthrise figures from wave 2, it is misprinted and overlays the "decodable" red graphics from the map piece included with Earthrise Hoist on top of the details unique to Arcee's piece.
Arcee was redecoed into Lifeline, and retooled into War for Cybertron Trilogy Elita-1.

Masterpiece

[edit]
And do the rockaway, now lean back.
  • ID Number: MP-51
  • Accessories: "Gun A" pistol, "Gun B" blaster, "Gun C" rifle, Holster, "Crusher" shredding arm, 3 alternate faces (smiling, surprised & sad), 3 Effect Parts
  • Known designers: Yuki Ohshima (concept artist)
Masterpiece Arcee transforms from a robot into a Cybertronian car, though the robot mode favors a leaner and slender design as opposed to directly replicating the original animation model, a rare move in modern Masterpiece figures. Arcee is armed with a small grey pistol (her finalized weapon design, featured in The Transformers: The Movie), a pink blaster (an early design for her weapon, used in a few episodes of the cartoon's third season), and a large rifle (used in the "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 2"). She also comes with an assortment of alternate faces, a holster for her pistol, effect parts for her weapons, and a drill arm based on the one she used to stop a Junkion during the chase in the movie. In addition, the figure's head has a foldout visor from the movie.
Much like MP-46 Blackwidow, Arcee's design hyper-emphasizes feminine stylings and enhanced posability, also extending to her hands. Unlike MP-46, however, Arcee's stylization goes to the point of neglecting screen accuracy, having a sculpt which forgoes the animation model's wider, slightly boxy stomach and waist while also giving her a much wider (and lower) bust. Not to mention the extremely arched back.
This mold was retooled into Nightbird.

War for Cybertron: Kingdom

[edit]
  • Arcee (Deluxe Class, 2021)
  • ID number: WFC-K17
  • Accessories: Blaster, hoverboard/vehicle rear
Part of the third wave of Kingdom Deluxes, Arcee is a package refresh of the previous Earthrise figure above, now in all-new packaging. The timing of this re-issue appears to commemorate the 35th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie.
This release of Arcee also comes with a Golden Disk card that "reveals a possible destiny of a key character", with each character having three possible destiny variants.

Generations Selects

[edit]

  • Behold, Galvatron! Unicron Companion Pack (Leader Class, 2022)
Generations Selects Arcee is a non-transforming and immobile minifigure, barely 10mm tall, scaled to interact with the immense War for Cybertron Trilogy Unicron figure and its clear display base.
This was one of a set of fourteen minifigures in the "Unicron Companion Pack" that was included with the "reformatting" version of Galvatron. The set was exclusive to Hasbro Pulse.
Arcee's legs are very thin, so care must be taken while handling her.

Authentics

[edit]
Thank Primus, my legs were getting so cold.
  • Arcee (Bravo, 2022)
  • Accessories: Blaster
Released as the sole figure in the fifth wave of Authentics "Bravo Class" figures, Authentics Arcee is a roughly-Scout-sized mold that is developed for the discount market. She changes from robot to a Cybertronian car that borrows design cues from her Earthrise and Cyberverse Deluxe toys. Her blaster can be stored on top of her vehicle mode where it cleverly doubles as the antennae-like device that usually adorns the top of G1 Arcee's vehicle mode.
Unlike many of her Deluxe iterations, this version of Arcee does not utilize shellforming in order to change forms, however she lacks feet and is a little back heavy for her size, so her stability is questionable. Her legs can be locked into a more stable position if her knees are hyperextended. She features a decent range of articulation on her upper body, though her knees can only move sideways due to her transformation scheme.

I remember when it was a big deal for Arcee to get a toy, now it takes two years for one to even be added to the wiki!
  • Arcee (Mini Bot Racers, 2022)
Released under the Authentics line of Mini Bot Racers, Arcee is a redeco of Rescue Bots Academy Mini Bot Racers Whirl, transforming into a sports car with a super-deformed version of her "driving" it in one simple step.
She comes packaged with fellow redeco Trailbreaker, along with unchanged rerelases of Rescue Bots Academy Mini Bot Racers Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Hoist.

White woman jumpscare.
  • Arcee (Tiny Turbo Changer, 2026)
  • Bag code: J
Part of the first series of blindpacked Tiny Turbo Changers in the sub-line-less Transformers "Core" product in early 2026, Arcee is a redeco of Cyberverse Arcee, a 1.5-inch soft-plastic figure that transforms into a Cybertronian car in a few steps. Her right hand has a blaster molded into it while her left hand is compatible with 3 mm weapons and accessories.
This mold was also used in the same wave to make Elita-1.

Studio Series

[edit]
Thrilling 38th.
  • Arcee (Deluxe Class, 2022)
Part of the seventeenth wave of Studio Series Deluxe Class toys, Arcee is, surprisingly enough, not a redeco of the Earthrise toy, but rather an extensive retool of the then eight-year-old Thrilling 30 toy. She features an entirely new lower body and back half of the car, in service of adding the War for Cybertron Trilogy standard of articulation to robot mode and a more accurate vehicle mode. Her new forearms are directly based on those of her Combiner Hunters toy, now altered to remove the weapon mounts on the sides and increase the gripping surface of her 5 mm post-compatible hands. She retains the Thrilling 30 toy's smaller blaster accessory, which can holster on her thighs or mount over her shoulders as on the original toy. The blaster stores under the rear of the car mode in a manner similar to Thrilling 30's.
Arcee's waist hinges, while giving her rare ab crunch articulation, do not lock in securely and can come apart when handling. Also, make sure that the shoulder joints are properly positioned so the car kibble can align properly.
Like the other Studio Series toys, the interior of the package forms a display backdrop, with it depicting the Battle of Autobot City.
Arcee and her wave-mates were revealed by TakaraTomy on May 10, 2022, and set for pre-order in Japanese markets, unusually before Hasbro.
Much like most of her other toys, Arcee became an infamous shelfwarmer, being regularly available on store shelves for at least two years and counting after her original release.

Orange you glad to finally see me?
  • Arcee (Prototype) (2025)
Missing Link Arcee (Prototype) is a Generation 1-style figure of the character, based directly on her original unfinished prototype, and transforms into a futuristic sports car. Her sole accessory is a small laser gun based on the one she used in The Transformers: The Movie, which can plug into one of two ports in the rear of her car mode, and unlike the C-08 “Anime” version of the set, this gun can be stored underneath the car. In robot mode, she is roughly as tall as Generation 1 Hot Rod, so they stand to scale, but her slim build means that she's probably turned out smaller than the hypothetical Generation 1 toy would have been, had it been made.
Arcee uses the prototype's distinctive orange-and-pink color scheme and headsculpt, based on her preliminary animation model (the other 1986 toys of the movie cast similarly used non-final designs for their sculpts). She has a clear plastic windscreen, which the prototype lacked but was likely intended to have, as it's on the character model. The toy also differs from the prototype (which was made of styrofoam!) in that several concessions have been made for transformation: the arms are now sandwiched by the shoulder fairings (in front like on the preliminary model and prototype, and behind like on the finalised model), which have thin wheels visible, and have additional panels forming the sides of the vehicle. The knee joints, which look like they're intended to form the car mode's rear wheels, are faux parts only coloured as such; they're on unusual diagonal sliders. Arcee's crotch piece sticks out from the underside of the front of the car. In robot mode, she has tiny fold-out heel spurs for stability. As the original Arcee toy never made it through production, there's no vintage sticker detail for Missing Link Arcee to turn into surface detail like other releases in the line; instead, she comes with a sticker sheet with newly-invented stickers—some of which are actually reused from Generation 1 Blitzwing—and she has the usual rubsign on the hood of her car mode.
Like other Missing Link figures, Arcee is designed with modern articulation, with rotation and a vertical tilt at the neck, universal shoulders and hips, outward arm and thigh movement, bends at the elbows and knees, and ankle tilts. The shape of the cutout at the back of the head may put leverage on the plastic if it is tilted too far back, creating stress marks, so don't get carried away. She has two 3 mm ports for flight stands, one under the car and one on her butt. Also like other Missing Link releases, she comes with a collector card and new art and packaging in the style of the original toyline, complete with styrofoam tray. She is given the function of "Cybertron / Female Warrior" (サイバトロン / 女性戦士).
Missing Link Arcee was unveiled at TakaraTomy's 40th Anniversary expo, and went up for pre-order in March 2025 for release in September of that year.

You can trust your car to the woman who wears the star. The big bright Texaco star!
  • Arcee (2025)
Much like C-02 Convoy before her, C-08 Arcee is a redeco and slight retool of the above Missing Link figure aimed to give a more familiar cartoon-accurate look for the toy. To match with the classic toys based on the movie cast, her new colours and headsculpt are taken from an intermediary character model that is much closer to the finalised design. To play spot-the-difference with her finalised appearance, she has: some slightly different helmet detailing, pink interiors on her earmuffs, a grey collar and midriff, and plain grey details on her navel. Instead of the prototype-inspired version's movie-accurate pistol, she instead comes with the early-model laser gun seen in the cartoon's third season. She retains the sticker sheet, which TakaraTomy opted to have applied for most of her stock photography.
This version of Arcee was revealed in March 2025 and went up for pre-order alongside the above Prototype version.

Super High-Breed Model

[edit]
Arcee pets a dog. (Dog not included.)
  • Arcee (1987)
    • ID number: H-03
Arcee was one of three non-transforming Super High-Breed Model vinyl figurines created in 1987 by Takara. Standing at about eight inches tall and featuring articulation in the neck and shoulders, Arcee and her fellows (Rodimus Prime and Galvatron) were based on their Studio OX character models, featuring much more anime-styled proportions and detailing.
For reasons unknown, the retail release of Arcee and the other Super High-Breed Model figures was canceled. While Galvatron was eventually released as an exclusive at BotCon Japan 1997, Arcee and Rodimus have never been officially released, though they do occasionally pop up on the secondary market, commanding prices in excess of $600.

MC Axis

[edit]
Look, Arcee pets a lot of invisible dogs, okay?
  • Arcee (1996)
This Japanese "garage kit", an unpainted resin model, was made by MC Axis and was also the first official product of Arcee that got a retail release. Included among its paperwork is a comic strip starring Arcee. It is not known for its exceptional quality control—numerous unsightly air bubbles in the plastic are not an uncommon thing to encounter.
The resin parts need to be washed first to prevent the paint from smearing off.

Super Collection Figure

[edit]
The first mass-release Arcee toy. So naturally, they released her twice.
  • Arcee (2000)
    • Act: 1
    • Accessories: Stand
A three-inch tall PVC figurine of Arcee was available in the first wave of Takara's Super Collection Figure line. She is armed with her pistol from the scene in The Transformers: The Movie where she shoots at Unicron's internal defenses. Like all the figures in the "Act", she was available as both a standard full color figure and a colorless translucent version, one of each of which was available in a standard case of twelve blindpacked figures.
Arcee was redecoed to create the chase figure for the eighth wave of the series, the Paradron Medic.

  • Arcee (with Daniel) (2001)
    • Act: 4
    • Accessories: Stand
The Arcee figurine was re-released, with no notable changes, as part of the fourth wave of the Super Collection Figure series, now packaged with a figure of Daniel Witwicky in his exosuit. Amusingly, this box comes with two stands, one for each figure.
The pair were available in both full color and metallic "pewter" versions, with one of each in every case. In eight out of every ten cases, the pewter version of the set came with the body of the line's collectible Metroplex "build-a-figure", with that assembly coming in either full-color or clear-plastic at an equal 4-to-4 ratio.
The pewter version of the figure has a potential problem with connector peg breakage, due to said pegs often getting a layer of pewter paint before being forced into a socket, leading to sticking and tearing. Care should be used when moving or removing the arms; shaving down the socket interior with a thin hobby knife is usually sufficient to fix the issue.

Heroes of Cybertron

[edit]
  • Arcee (2002)
When Hasbro released the Super Collection Figure line as Heroes of Cybertron, the Arcee figure was released as part of the first wave, now featuring a light-piping gimmick in the character's eyes, accomplished by casting the figure in translucent blue plastic and then painting over it. There are other small but significant changes to her deco; most notably her midriff detailing is now painted red (a detail the SCF oddly misses), her blaster now has a black barrel rather than dark gray, her pinks and grays are darker, and her whites are considerably brighter.
Rather than come blindpacked like the SCF figure, Arcee came on a blister card with a profile card included.
This mold was later redecoed to make the Heroes of Cybertron Paradron Medic.

MyClone

[edit]
Ladies should do this about once per month, and more regularly after turning 50.
  • Arcee (2003)
    • ID number: MTF005
    • Accessories: White display base
Released in the first wave of the MyClone line of Transformers PVC figures, this super deformed Arcee comes with a hexagonal white display stand, which can link up with the identical stands included with other MyClone figures. Her modular design allows her parts to be mixed and matched with those of any other MyClone figure.

Palisades Statues

[edit]
And so Arcee waits / Arcee waits / Arcee waits
  • Arcee (2004)
Inspired by a Dreamwave pin-up lithograph/poster by Rob Armstrong,[7][8] (itself based on Arcee's Studio OX character model, complete with shoulder-armor rig) this statue features looks-right-at-only-one-angle perspective and a face so flat you'd swear she'd flown into a window. Standing around 6" tall, Arcee was limited to 2000 pieces worldwide.
The Arcee statue was later repainted into that old standby, the Paradron Medic.

Robot Heroes

[edit]
She's actually running after Robot Heroes Cheetor.
  • Arcee & Decepticon Rumble (Two-pack, 2008)
Part of the second wave of Universe Robot Heroes, Arcee is packaged with Rumble as part of the "Generation 1 Series." She is sculpted as running across a patch of mechanical flooring, and she has articulation at the head and shoulders.

Transformers - Mini Bust

[edit]
Not pictured: Springer and Weirdwolf.
  • Arcee (Diamond Select, 2009)
Released by Diamond Select Toys in 2009, Arcee was sculpted by Mark Wong of Art Asylum and limited to 1000 pieces. She is featured packing two of the style of pistol she is commonly seen with and looking off to one side. As is the case in certain continuities, she is listed as a member of Elita One's resistance group. Arcee's tech specs give her the following classifications: STR 5.5, INT 8, SPD 8, END 5, RNK 6, CRG 9, FBL 6, SKL 10.

Q-Transformers

[edit]
Not included: two dogs.
  • Arcee (2016)
Available as part of the Q-Transformers capsule toy lineup, this non-transforming figure of Arcee is based on her appearance in the Q-Transformers cartoon.

EX Gōkin

[edit]
  • Arcee (TBA)
    • Accessories: Gun, alternate head, display stand
A non-transforming Arcee action figure produced by Art Storm as part of their EX Gōkin Transformers Series line, featuring an alternate head with the red visor she briefly used in the movie. It was first revealed at the Japanese 2014 Transformers Expo alongside Elita One but has not been shown again since Wonder Festival 2015, leaving its release uncertain.
Reinforcements from Cybertron may not be forthcoming.

No promises.
This item is not on a release schedule, but Hasbro, TakaraTomy, or any other of the companies are examining options for its availability.

Playskool Friends

[edit]
  • Transformers Collector Pack (Canceled)
Intended to be released as part of the 7-pack for the Playskool Friends lineup, this Arcee is a very adorable non-transforming figurine. She comes packed with Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Heatwave, Chase, Boulder and Blades.
Given the inclusion of the four Rescue Bots, it was probably unclear if this Arcee is mean to represent her Generation 1 counterpart or her Aligned counterpart.

Transformers Trading Card Game

[edit]
  • Arcee, Skilled Fighter (2018)
    • Wave 1
    • Rarity: RT
    • Card Number: T01/T40
    • Stars: 5
Arcee, Skilled Fighter is one of forty double-sided character cards available in Wave 1 of the Transformers Trading Card Game.
The artwork on the card is reused from the Transformers Legends mobile card game, and draws inspiration from the version of the character seen in the Transformers: Prime cartoon.

  • Private Arcee, Special Ops-Warrior (2019)
    • Wave 3: War for Cybertron: Siege I
    • Rarity: CT
    • Card Number: T12/T48
    • Stars: 8
Private Arcee, Special Ops-Warrior is one of forty-eight double-sided character cards available in Wave 3 of the Transformers Trading Card Game, War for Cybertron: Siege I.
The card uses reused line-art from the Transformers Legends mobile game, recolored seemingly to match the aesthetic of the Siege toyline's packaging art.

Imaginarium Art

[edit]
The corresponding Springer was also tragically cancelled.
  • Arcee (2019ish?)
Revealed by Imaginarium Art in 2018, this was to have been a polystone statue of a supermodel in body paint Arcee. The design as revealed depicted her with her visor as seen in The Transformers: The Movie, a blaster as seen in the original Transformers cartoon, a sword inspired by her appearances in IDW's comics, and gratuitous underboob. On its reveal, the statue instantly ignited controversy because of the... let's say "disparity" between Arcee's depiction and the designs of Imaginarium Art's male characters. Arcee was considered to be either part of Imaginarium's "1:4 scale" range (about 24 inches tall and around $1k) or its "Legacy of Cybertron" subline (about 12 inches tall and $399.99), depending on licensor approval and a fan vote.[9][10] Ultimately, the toy was never released.
Arcee seems to have had an unusual development. Before Imaginarium Art's reveal, renders of the statue's digital sculpt surfaced on Chinese social media such as Weibo in mid May 2018, watermarked with 玩酷 (meaning something like "Play Cool").[11] One of these renders, depicted in full colour, was posted to Imaginarium Art's Facebook page with full Hasbro/Transformers legal indicia, explicitly confirming this to be the design proposed for the statue.[9][10] The statue was apparently eventually solicited for release in late 2019...[12] but without Transformers branding or Imaginarium Art's approval.[13][14] This 24 inch tall, IP-infringing "Mechanical Police" statue was listed for sale both as both a "Regular Edition" and a "Commemorative Edition" that included a 12 inch tall grey model of the same design alongside a gold collector coin. And the studio credited for this bootleg? 玩酷, the same as seen on the pre-Imaginarium renders in the first place.[12] Weird!

ReAction

[edit]
  • Arcee (2021)
  • Accessories: Pistol
Released in the fifth wave of Super7's line of multi-property 3.75-inch "retro" action figures, ReAction Arcee is a non-converting 3 3/4-inch action figure based on her appearance in the original cartoon, with five points of articulation (swivel neck, shoulders, hips) and holes in her feet for use with some variety of stand. She comes with a small pistol based on the one she uses inside Unicron's tum-tum in The Transformers: The Movie.
As with all releases in the ReAction toyline, Arcee comes packaged on a small cardback that emulates the nostalgic packaging style of Kenner's Star Wars action figures from the late 1970s to early '80s.

  • Arcee (2024)
  • Accessories: Pistol
Released in the eighth and seemingly final wave of "normal"-retail ReAction figures, this version of Arcee is colored to resemble her original unproduced prototype figure shown at the very top of this page. Seriously!
While her name on the card has not changed, Super7's website lists her as "Arcee (Pink & Orange)".

Eaglemoss

[edit]
  • Transformers Gen-1 Chess Set (2021)
In the planned Transformers Chess Set by Eaglemoss, a relatively large and very well detailed statue of Arcee was slated to be one of the Pawn pieces on the Autobot side.
A Kickstarter campaign to raise the necessary funds for this project was launched, but failed to meet its goal by September 24, 2021 and the whole thing was canceled.

Furai Model

[edit]
  • Arcee (2023)
  • Number: 28
  • Accessories: 2 pairs of hands, visor, blaster, blaster extension, blade, long barrel
Produced by Flame Toys, this Arcee is a new addition to the Furai Model line of plastic model kits. Using parts made of hard ABS plastic and some polycaps, she features a unique, stylized design that consists of a human-like female body designed by Ban (ばん!). In addition to the extra hand parts, Arcee also comes with a visor, a ranged weapon based on her signature gun, and an extension piece that allows the weapon to attach either the blade or the longer gun barrel.
If one chooses, the kit can be panel-lined and touched up with several panel-lining and paint markers (water- or acrylic-based markers are recommended, as alcohol-based markers like "Gundam Markers" can potentially damage the ABS plastic). If one desires, the kit's pieces, aside from the translucent parts, can be fully coated with spray paints to recreate the finished sample seen in the stock photos.
Like Windblade, the artwork of Arcee also generated minor controversy, mainly due to how the two shades of pink parts on her torso-to-waist are decoed to look like a very tiny bikini.

Combiner Slayer not included.
  • Black Arcee (2025)
  • Number: 39
  • Accessories: 2 pairs of hands, visor, blaster, blaster extension, blade, long barrel
This Furai Model Arcee is now redecoed into mainly black livery inspired by her appearance in IDW Publishing's Combiner Hunters comic. She comes with the same accessories as the original kit.

Minimates

[edit]
  • Arcee (Series 3, 2022)
    • Accessories: 2 pistols; alternate head; stand
Part of the third wave of Transformers Minimates from Diamond Select, this Arcee is a 2-inch-tall figurine featuring metallic paint, 12-14 points of articulation, and accessories and body parts interchangeable with other Minimates. Due to their small size, all 4 figures in each series are sold in the same blister card. Arcee includes an alternate head, this one displaying her long-distance visor from the animated film.

Jada Toys

[edit]
  • Transformers Series 1 18-pack (4 cm Die Cast Figure Multipack, 2022)
Released by Jada Toys, Nano Metalfigs Arcee is an incredibly small die-cast figurine molded with her hands on her waist. She has a little base attached to her feet for balancing reasons.
She comes in an impressive multipack with seventeen other figurines.

  • Transformers Series 3 18-pack (4 cm Die Cast Figure Multipack, 2023)
Nano Metalfigs Arcee was re-released with no noticeable changes in another impressive multipack with seventeen other figurines.

Magic: The Gathering

[edit]
  • Arcee, Sharpshooter / Arcee, Acrobatic Coupe (2022)
    • ID number: 007/015
    • Set code: BOT
    • Color identity: Red/White
    • Casting cost: {1}{R}{W} (front), {R}{W} (back)
    • Artist: Andrew Griffith
"Arcee, Sharpshooter" is part of the 2022 Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond Transformers card set, found in Set Booster and Collector Booster packs of Magic's The Brothers' War set. It can be reversed to become "Arcee, Acrobatic Coupe", representing Arcee in vehicle mode.
Arcee is the only Universes Beyond Transformers card to not have a variant depicting the character's Shattered Glass counterpart.

Transformers Character Card

[edit]
Released as part of the eleventh wave of the e-HOBBY exclusive Transformers Character Card series, this pair of holographic trading cards depict super-deformed art of Arcee and Windblade along with character profiles and tech specs.

Pop!

[edit]
  • Arcee (2024)
    • Rarity: Legendary
    • ID number: 265
Released as part of the second wave of the Pop! Digital segment, Funko's Pop! Arcee is a super deformed vinyl figure. Her design is based on her original cartoon appearance, making her one of the very few Generation 1 vinyls to not be based on an existing toy.
This figure is limited to 2000 units and can only be acquired by collecting and redeeming digital tokens.

Auldey

[edit]
  • Arcee (Alpha Action Elite, 2024)
  • Series: Defend Iacon!
  • ID Number: AAE-007
  • Accessories: 4 pairs of hands, 3 blasters, 4 Energon Cubes
  • Known designers: Lam Ahtek
Sold as part of Auldey's "Alpha Action Elite (AAE)" series of blindboxes, this Arcee is a 4-inch non-transforming but highly articulated action figure. In addition to the extra pairs of hands, Arcee comes with three different types of blaster weapons, which include her signature pistol, and 4 additional Energon Cubes to meet the blind box's price point.
Arcee also comes with her trading card. As advertised in the box, the lineup had a 12/72 probability of getting her.

Yolopark

[edit]
  • Arcee (AMK Mini, 2025)
  • Accessories: 2 pairs of hands (Fists/item-holding, splayed open-palm), 1 pair of blasters
Sold as part of the second wave of Yolopark's AMK (Advanced Model Kit) Mini line, this kit of Arcee can only be completed by snapping the pre-painted pieces together. Aside from an extra pair of splayed open hand parts, Arcee comes with a pair of guns. As with the rest of the kits starting from this wave, she also features new articulation points, particularly the ball-and-socket jointed waist-to-torso.
Arcee is sold as either an individually marked single or a blind box figure. The latter lineup had a 19/120 probability of getting her.

Blokees

[edit]
  • Arcee (2025)
  • Series: Galaxy Version 09 - Darkest Hour
  • Accessories: Spare balljoint piece, Blaster
Released as part of the ninth wave for Blokees' Galaxy Version series of blind boxes, this Arcee is a 4.25-inch-tall non-transforming buildable figure, and she uses a different construction method also used for the female characters from other franchises, such as Rescue from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which gives her a slightly smaller stature than the other Galaxy Version figures. She appears once in every nine blind boxes. Arcee uses the same torso-to-waist frame and leg construction as Elita-1, though her elbows are clip-on hinged joints.
Lacking the usual extra pair of interchangeable hands due to her different construction method, Arcee's only accessory is her signature blaster.
