Joe "Big Daddy" Kyde (born 1980) was an Associate Product Designer for Hasbro, which meant for a while he was in charge of store-exclusive product for the G.I. Joe and Transformers brands. He had previously done color layouts for many Transformers toys.

Joe is notorious, even legendary for his tall tales and stone-faced blarney. Joe's acidic wit and elastic sense of "truth" have led to Joe being banned from testifying in any and all civil cases in the United States, Canada, and the People's Republic of Haiti. It has been speculated by family and friends that Joe may actually have a form of Münchausen Syndrome.

Joe is an avid train spotter, and can identify over one hundred makes and models of locomotive by sound alone. Ironically, Joe has never traveled by train, and considers all forms of mass transit too dangerous.

Currently, he's moved on to actual Transformers toy design, and is currently the lead designer of the Generations toyline! Countdown to a Swerve toy in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!
