Earth

The planet Earth, third from the Sun in the Solar System in the Milky Way galaxy, is a world populated by a wide variety of native organic lifeforms, including humans. Versions of this planet are known to exist in many dimensions within the multiverse, and for some strange reason, it frequently becomes involved in the conflicts of the Transformers. Perhaps too frequently. Whenever someone or something leaves, escapes, or is otherwise ejected from Cybertron, there's a disproportionate chance it will eventually wind up on Earth, as opposed to, say, any of the other planets in the vast universe.
Earth is superficially similar to the planet upon which you may reside, but has many subtle and not-so-subtle differences.
In some universes, Earth becomes the post-apocalyptic planet Gaia, while in others, Earth is the planet that formed around Unicron or the goddess Gaea, furthering Earth's connection to Cybertron, which is (usually) the body of Primus. In one universe, the Earth itself is a Transformer known as Atlas.

Around nine million years ago, the Earth was visited by the Transformers Starscream and Skyfire, but Skyfire was caught in a polar wind storm and separated from Starscream, buried in ice. Earth is home to many unusual creatures and "hidden civilizations." The underwater city of Sub-Atlantica, populated by water-breathing fish-like humanoids, gave rise to the legends of Atlantis and other sunken cities. Atlantis, Arise! Also, fire-breathing dragons existed naturally as late as the medieval era, though by the 20th century, they appeared to have died out. Around the same time as the Transformers, Earth was ravaged by the predations of a terrorist organisation led by the sinister "Old Snake". Luckily, some real American heroes opposed them and by 2005 they'd be a distant memory. Only Human
The magma energy of the Earth's core is channeled by a series of green crystalline structures, which the Decepticons attempted to exploit in 1984, exposing a crystal shaft in the North Pole and tapping the core's energy (while, at the same time, happening upon and reactivating the body of Skyfire). Fire in the Sky Another unusual aspect of the planet is the natural existence of electrum, a metallic alloy that renders Transformers invulnerable when coated in it. The Golden Lagoon

Also by 2005, human interaction with the Transformers had resulted in an advanced level of technology worldwide, and the foundation of the Earth Defense Command, which operates a series of space stations. Saturn's moon, Titan, was colonised, and an EDC base was established on Mars, while travel between star systems was hugely enhanced by the creation of warp gates. Earthling Spike Witwicky became Earth's ambassador, first to Cybertron, and then to other alien worlds as, through the Transformers, humanity came into contact with other races. In the expanded fiction of the additional Japanese-exclusive animated series, the existence of the sunken continents Atlantis and Lemuria was confirmed. Later, it was revealed that a small group of Autobot and Decepticon Pretenders crash-landed on the planet in the Stone Age. While the Autobots used their Pretender abilities to adopt the form of humans, the Decepticons assumed monstrous forms and were mistaken by early man as "demons." Finally defeating the Decepticons and sealing them away—within the pyramids of Giza, the ruins of Atlantis and beneath the Nazca Lines of Peru—the Autobots then integrated themselves into human society, serving as secret protectors who quietly and subtly guided the evolution of human society.

Around the beginning of the 21st century, the Autobots worked with the Earth Defense Command to increase ties between their peoples. As a result, cyberfactories came about to create Transformers with the rights of citizens of human nations. Though this "second generation" was created with no faction in mind, by 2010 many had migrated to opposing sides in the Cybertronian civil war, either to U.S. citizen Clench's Decepticon Syndicate or to UK citizen Pyro's Autobots. The Ark crashed into Earth four million years ago. Already present, and the site of the first Transformer battle on Earth, was the Savage Land—a hidden jungle in Antarctica where dinosaurs still live. It is believed the Savage Land was created by another, earlier race of aliens.
Some bloke called Jesus was born over 2000 years ago, or so legend says, leading eventually to the holiday called Christmas.
In the year 1017 AD, the Autobot Navigator and his companion arrived on Earth searching for the lost Ark. Their ship landed in England and the companion would look around every few centuries, and he would be named the Man of Iron by the awed residents of Stansham; his first appearance turned the tide of a great battle.
In the 18th Century, pirates roamed the seas filling up their treasure chests. Two Autobots were sent to Earth at this time, but were seemingly rendered offline in the process; they were found and then lost by a crew of pirates.
In the 1950s, there was a war in Korea that the United States of America was involved in. Irving Witwicky was one of the United States Marine Corps sent there.

By the 1980s, Earth was involved in a Cold War driven by the United States of America and the Soviet Union. The planet was also threatened by the international terrorist group Cobra, who was opposed by either America's G.I. Joe organisation and/or the international Action Force (sources disagree). There also existed a group called S.H.I.E.L.D., an American spy organisation that primarily handled the monstrous Godzilla, and otherwise seemed to have little prominence.
By a quirk of genetics, the odd human proved capable of wielding superpowers. The earliest known was a vigilante named Spider-Man who vanished after 1984 for unknown reasons, though he did clash with the Decepticons and caused Megatron to rethink how dangerous humans were.
The Autobot and Decepticon war would rage until 1991 before a brief lull; both sides would relocate their bases to multiple locations, and while often battling in America they would also strike in the United Kingdom, Peru, Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Argentina. Responsibility for dealing with them in the States fell to the Intelligence and Information Institute, yet another American spy group (the 1980s was clearly a paranoid and unstable time), and their military wing RAAT. Diplomatic relations were tried early on with the President of the United States, but failed.
Earthforce
In an alternate timeline, the bulk of the Autobot/Decepticon war moved off-world in 1990 and a small Earthforce remained to contain two duelling Decepticon factions (who later united). The Autobot base was located in Canada, where an abnormally high number of polar bears roam the wilderness; the animals have even become bold enough to approach the Autobot base.
Marvel UK future timelines
In several alternate timelines where Unicron attacked in 2006, the Autobots were allowed to build a city on Earth and it would become a major location for scattered Autobots to regroup after Decepticon conquest of Cybertron. Diplomatic relations were strong between human and Autobot, and futuristic technology such as weather-control machines were gifted to mankind.
"Rhythms of Darkness"
In yet another timeline, the Americas were brutally conquered after 2005 by Galvatron. In response, the continent of Europe has united under a European Crisis Coalition.

In 1993, the Decepticons struck Earth with overwhelming force, devastating cities and slaughtering millions, merely as a way of attracting Autobot attention. Even this was dwarfed when the Cybertronian warlord Jhiaxus blew up San Francisco the following year. The long-term impact this had on Earth is unknown.

The Transformers had arrived on the planet under unknown circumstances, and a temple on the Fera Islands had been built around their remains. A dangerous faction known as Cobra, however, would discover them in 1938, and so erupted World War II: Cobra and the Decepticons taking on everyone else, and overrunning Europe. The threat caused the United States to enter the war in 1939, creating the world's first modern special forces unit in G.I. Joe. A Joe/Autobot joint operation would end the war by defeating the Decepticons, but at the cost of the Autobots all dying.
In 1985, Cobra would resurface as a terrorist organisation. The remains of the Transformers would be used for a massive arms race.

Unbeknownst to the younger Shockwave, his time-travelling future self — in the guise of "Onyx Prime" — had deliberately ensured that his younger self would choose Earth as one of the thirteen planets involved, as the presence of the Enigma ensured that it possessed a connection to the Thirteen. The First Who Was Named Using supplies of Ore-1, Ore-9, and Ore-10, "Onyx Prime," armed with his foreknowledge of the future, was able to shunt the Titan Metrotitan across time and space, eventually burying him beneath Monument Valley so that Optimus Prime would find him. Spotlight: Soundwave
Another unauthorised landing, this time by the rogue Scorponok, occurred at an unknown point in time; he made contact with a number of amoral private corporations, leading to the formation of the Machination. Infiltration #4
The planet was officially infiltrated by the Decepticons sometime during 2002, presumably for the purposes of harvesting its local resources; a detachment of Autobots, led by Prowl, followed them in an attempt to thwart their aims. Decepticon agents were placed in multiple areas, such as the United States government and the separatists of Brasnya. However, the recent discovery of Ore-13 by Starscream's team prompted the treacherous lieutenant to break protocol in an effort to rebel against Megatron. Autobot agent Ratchet also broke protocol by initiating direct contact with three humans, who proved invaluable in gaining intelligence on Starscream's operations. Infiltration
The discovery of Ore-13 threatened to make Earth the new front line in the war between the Autobots and Decepticons. Megatron carried on the standard strategem of igniting conflict between humans to weaken their kind for conquest, but Autobot interference made him escalate things drastically. The Transformers became known to humanity, with the Machination attempting to exploit this. Escalation Devastation
About a year on from this, everyone suddenly forgot they knew about the Transformers, while a disgruntled Sunstreaker made a deal that saw the Decepticons gain an undefended Earth. A destructive war occurred between Decepticon and human, with New York City seized as a base and several other parts of the planet suffering devastating attacks. Eventually, Optimus Prime showed up in Omega Supreme and put a stop to that. All Hail Megatron
Their leader grievously wounded and their forces in tatters, the Decepticons retreated for the time being. With Autobot infrastructure across the galaxy in ruins, Earth became a hot spot of Transformer activity as Autobot refugees travelled to the planet in the hopes of seeking shelter. Most Autobots and Decepticons, however, were stranded on the world for some time, left to the mercies of an increasingly aggressive Skywatch. Several Decepticons forged alliances of convenience with Earth nations, while the Autobots were eventually able to form a joint team with Skywatch. The Transformers

Beast Era
Beast Wars cartoon
The mysterious aliens known as the Vok chose prehistoric Earth, which they dubbed Nexus Earth, as the site of an experiment, and seeded the planet with vast amounts of raw energon, installing a second, artificial moon into the planet's orbit, and placing several devices (including Stonehenge) at strategic points on the planet.

Around the time of the emergence of proto-hominids, a group of Maximals and Predacons from Cybertron's future travelled back in time to prehistoric Earth, where they waged a conflict they dubbed the "Beast Wars," and encountered the Vok, interfering in their plans. Deciding that the Beast Warriors had contaminated their experiment, the Vok activated the second moon, transforming it into a giant laser weapon with which they planned to detonate the Energon seeded throughout the planet, wiping it clean of life. This plan was foiled by the Maximal leader, Optimus Primal, but the vast majority of the raw Energon on the planet was transformed into stable, cube form.

Both factions soon became aware of early hominids. A foiled Predacon attempt to slaughter them caused them to both disperse and develop knowledge of crude tools and weapons; Cheetor happily intervened in the natural course of Time by teaching the young hominids simple physics lessons; and after the end of the war, when the Transformers returned to Cybertron, Waspinator was left on the planet as the leader and god of a hominid tribe. Although they eventually rejected him and he too returned to Cybertron, it is unclear precisely how much influence Waspinator may have had on the evolution of humanity and their culture. Many would find this dizzturbing.
Interestingly, by the time immediately prior to the Beast Wars, Earth, and its sector in space was declared off-limits by order of the Maximal High Council, and likely all information about it tightly regulated. It is unknown precisely when and why this ban was initiated.

The many parts of its activation mechanism, such as O-Parts, the Orb of Sigma, and Cerebros, came to be located within relics left behind by ancient human civilizations. In the 1940s, a crew of Autobots was dispatched to the planet to check up on things, unsuccessfully. In the present day, the biggest problem facing humanity is a lack of access to energy. Doctor Onishi is the world's foremost expert on locating and cataloguing new energy sources, and during the course of his work he located Fortress Maximus and some of the O-Parts. Cue the second biggest problem for humanity, as their top energy expert was kidnapped by a giant robot hand.

After the first defeat of Unicron, Earth was chosen as one of the planets to receive a Cyber Planet Key, which would have reformatted the planet into a Transformer colony. However, the colony ship Atlantis, also carrying the Omega Lock, crashed onto the planet before it could properly begin its mission.
(Note: A lost undersea city was found earlier during the Armada series, one powered by a Mini-Con from the Air Defense Mini-Con Team. A hologram described that the civilization had been quite advanced, but was destroyed by its own power. The human children deemed this city to be Atlantis, but it is possible that it was a completely different civilization.)
Some time later, when the Mini-Cons fled Cybertron to escape being used as tools, their ship came out of warp above Earth. Impacting onto the planet's moon, the Mini-Con ship broke in half, sending a large chunk of the craft into Earth's atmosphere. Mini-Con storage panels were spread across the globe and the ship itself crashed onto the surface, where they laid dormant for nearly a million years. First Encounter Earth's fate being tied to that of Cybertron in the Unicron Trilogy is a form of predestination. 65 million years ago, a mysterious race known only as the Creators came to Earth with plans to cyberform it using the Seeds. The native dinosaurs were caught in the blast radius, resulting in their mass extinction which humans would initially believe to have been the work of an asteroid impact.
For unknown reasons - presumably they only wanted to mine the transformium - the Creators then left Earth, allowing its organic life to take over once again. Age of Extinction

In 17,000 B.C.E., the Thirteen Seven founders of the Dynasty of Primes came to Earth with their warriors and workers to build a Harvester unit, designed to nick power from stars to charge the mighty AllSpark. Just as they finished the Harvester, the Primes discovered the primitive humans. Most of the Primes upheld their rule of sparing life, but one Prime, forever known as The Fallen despised the humans as insects and sought to seize the AllSpark's power for himself. A great battle took place, but in the end, the Dynasty of Primes stole the Matrix of Leadership, the key to activate the harvester, and hid it in a tomb made of their bodies. The harvester was abandoned on Earth, in the country that would be called Egypt. The native humans built a pyramid around it, millennia before those Ivory Tower eggheads claim the Egyptians did. Seekers would start searching the planet for the Matrix, and symbols and pictures of them ended up on ancient human relics. Revenge of the Fallen
The AllSpark itself crashed onto Earth around 10,000 B.C.E., followed a few thousand years later by the Transformer Megatron who would become buried at the Arctic Circle. The discovery of the latter would lead to the formation (at ...some point) of the Sector Seven organisation, a United States secret service meant to handle "non-biological entities". Hoover Dam would be built as a secret holding base for Sector Seven, near to populous Mission City. Unknown to Sector Seven (initially), the Seekers were still searching on Earth, this time disguised as contemporary machinery; one of them would accidentally cause the Spanish-American War.

In 1961, the Ark crashed on Earth's moon, sparking the space race. By 1972, Soundwave and Laserbeak had landed on Earth and coereced humans into helping them end the space race to protect the Ark from discovery. Sector Seven was involved in the American effort to explore the Ark.
Through Megatron, much of modern human technology would be created via reverse-engineering and much of modern American history driven by Sector Seven. Oppenheimer created the atom bomb through reverse-engineered technology; the "space race" (including more secret parts of it) was won by America solely due to Megatron's bits; and Three Mile Island was caused by poking at the AllSpark. The Soviet Union was aware of Sector Seven and its "Ice Man", and attempted to capture it when it was transported from the Arctic to America.
The 1980s would see a number of Transformers landing on Earth, including Starscream, before soon departing. This appears to have been covert even among their own factions, as none of the Transformers have referred to it. Sector Seven hurriedly initiated the Hungry Dragon black propaganda operation, creating a toyline of transforming robots to cover up the sightings.
By the 21st century, the United States had thus become so powerful the United States military possessed bases in foreign countries such as Qatar and NASA had total supremacy over space-related matters. Sector Seven had its own paramilitary wing and prisons, all while being so secret the Secretary of Defence was unaware of its existence.

In 2003, covert Transformers (both Bumblebee and Decepticon) arrived on Earth to search for the AllSpark, successfully evading and sometimes killing any Sector Seven forces. Another and seemingly unrelated faction would later attempt the same thing, even getting their operative Dewbot inside the Hoover Dam base. Operating at the fringes were human vigilantes such as the mysterious Agent X and the Lunchables Brigade paramilitary, the latter having some form of contact with the Autobots.

And people go insane
Fly around in planes
And pray that it won't rain
In the summer of 2007, the same Decepticons arrived on Earth again and would learn of the existence of Archibald Witwicky's glasses, upon which the physical location of the AllSpark was imprinted; luckily, Optimus Prime and the Autobots arrived on Earth to secure the AllSpark. Open warfare would result, ending in a final battle with both the military and the Autobots fighting against the Decepticons at Mission City. Sector Seven were decimated and the AllSpark cube destroyed, but the Decepticons were defeated and Megatron killed thanks in part to two youths. Transformers

Sector Seven was tasked with cleanup, making a brief, if shaky, alliance with the Autobots to escort the remains of the Decepticons for dumping in the Laurentian Abyss, only to end up in the shit after their secret Decepticon prisoner was activated and caused a major battle. The same day, the Nemesis, a long lost Decepticon ship tasked with locating Earth, arrived in Earth's solar system; its commander Soundwave, upon learning of the loss of Megatron and the Cube, dispatched forces across the planet to begin looking for Megatron's body and the Matrix of Leadership.
Following this, Sector Seven was shut down and a secret military alliance was made between the United States and the Autobots: NEST. Other countries were involved with NEST, but it's not clear how heavily they were. Either way, they had repeated battles with rogue Decepticons.

By 2009, Barack Obama was the President of the United States, with Theodore Galloway as National Security Advisor and General Morshower as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; China was on such good terms with America that it allowed an American dominated international military coalition to operate in its cities; Egypt and Jordan had established a border with each other; and a large number of bloggers were aware something was being covered up, with a possibly-new Agent X passing information to them. That same year, Megatron was revived, and was tasked by his master The Fallen with retrieving Sam Witwicky and killing Optimus Prime. Failing in the former but succeeding in the latter, Megatron decided to escalate the war with the Autobots by making overt attacks, with strikes on Earth cities and the destruction of a major pyramid before the Autobot/NEST team won when Sam Witwicky used the Matrix to revive Optimus Prime, who in turn defeated Megatron and killed The Fallen. Revenge of the Fallen
By this time, Earth's main export was ex reality-TV contestants. Welcome to Earth
Post-Fallen, Autobot/NEST forces would have multiple battles with leftover Decepticon forces and human factions. They would also uncover the lost Power Core Combination technology on Earth, causing an escalation on both sides as combiner technology was applied. Cyber Missions
A few years after the death of the Fallen, the Autobots and Decepticons were public knowledge and energon detectors were set up in all of Earth's major cities to detect Decepticon forces. By this point, the war seemed to be in a peaceful lull as there hadn't been a major Decepticon engagement in a while and the Autobots were helping to deal with humans who were threats to world security, sometimes of their own initiative and against the American government's wishes. After a trip to Chernobyl uncovered an engine part from the Ark, Optimus Prime and Ratchet traveled to the moon and recovered five pillars and Sentinel Prime who was brought back to life with the Matrix of Leadership. This played right into the Decepticons plans as they needed Sentinel to use the space bridge to bring an army to Earth and to bring Cybertron as well, so the Decepticons could conquer Earth and use its resources and human population to rebuild Cybertron. Most of the Decepticon army invaded Chicago, killing countless humans while a few Decepticons spread around the planet to release the space bridge. In Chicago, a massive battle occurred in which a combined force of Autobots and humans assaulted the Decepticon-held city. In the end, Chicago was liberated and the Decepticon army was destroyed along with the space bridge, Sentinel and Cybertron, forcing the Autobots to accept Earth as their new home. Dark of the Moon
When Quintessa discovered Earth's true origins, she saw a chance to revive Cybertron by draining Unicron's lifeforce, which had a side effect of destroying Earth. When she moved Cybertron into Earth's orbit to commence the ritual that would revive her homeworld, Unicron's horns sprouted from the Earth in response to Primus' proximity. While the Autobots managed to halt the ritual, Cybertron was left parked above the Earth and Unicron's horns remained jutting out of the planet's crust. The Last Knight
Titan alternate timeline
In a further divergent timeline, the Decepticons succeeded at Mission City and conquered the United States. While NATO regrouped to try and oppose them, its forces proved no match for Decepticon retaliation. The crisis caused Russia to join up with NATO, and resulted in extensive damage to Paris, including the loss of the French centre of government.
Via a processing station at Savannah, Georgia, Megatron used the AllSpark to begin transforming Earth into a new Cybertron. The Autobots eventually killed him and destroyed the AllSpark, but the fundamental damage was already done: Earth's core was infected, causing the planet to be torn apart by continuing techno-organic activity. Unnatural disasters spread across the Earth, along with areas spewing out raw energon and a strange illness affecting scores of people. This would eventually be stopped with Nucleon.
On top of this, attempts to rebuild the liberated United States were constantly thwarted by a Decepticon terror campaign; both Autobot and NATO forces (the American military having been decimated) operated on US soil, attempting to defend it. The Decepticons eventually re-conquered 600+ miles of US territory centred on Savannah, claiming it as an autonomous Decepticon Heartland. To make matters worse, the Decepticons had mental control over hundreds of human officials, including the US President, and used them to force America to seek a diplomatic deal and thus leave itself easier to conquer. While the Autobots eventually defeated the Decepticons, the mind-controlled slaves and drone soldiers were littered across the country.

This world suffered a devastating Third World War in the 1980s, which among other things destroyed the Western seaboard of the United States of America and sent most of it underwater. At some unknown point in its past, there was an invasion by metal monsters from the center of the Earth, as well as an unrelated invasion of metal monsters from space.
The United States is a fascist state in this world, commanded by President Colton, who is known for dodgy military activity. Rebel movements are at work in the country which oppose the government's infringement of personal freedoms and increasing militarism. Other foreign powers, known either to oppose the US or to be capable of pre-emptive strikes (at least in President Colton's paranoid mind), include the British, the Soviet Union, and the Ottoman Confederacy. The Covenant of Primus foretold the events that would later happen on Earth. Alpha/Omega
Cybertronian legend tells of an ancient, eons-raging battle between Primus and Unicron. After Primus had cast Unicron into space by creating the thirteen original Transformers, Unicron slumbered for many ages. In his slumber, debris gravitationally attached to Unicron formed the planet Earth, of which Unicron is its core. One Shall Rise, Part 1
Late in the Cybertonian civil war, both the Autobots and Decepticons hid their energon stores off world, a practice that seeded planets like Earth with its deposits of the precious resource. In doing so, however, the war spread to these alien worlds, with the largest Cybertronian battle in the Milky Way galaxy being fought on Earth. The aftermath of this bloody conflict was left undisturbed for thousands of years, and was not common knowledge amongst most Autobots. Darkness Rising, Part 3
As Cybertron began to shut down to purge the Dark Energon corruption, the scientist Shockwave began using space bridge technology to try and find a large cache of energon that could be used to prematurely reboot Cybertron. His quest eventually brought him to Earth, where the dominant life-forms inspired him to experiment on four captive Autobots, producing the Dinobots. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron
Following Optimus Prime and Megatron's initial skirmishes on the planet, the former ordered all Autobots to Earth, while Starscream was sent to salvage a space bridge from wherever he could find it. Transformers: Prime The Autobots, meanwhile, set up Autobot Outpost Omega One in an American missile base and opened up relations with the United States government: Special Agent Fowler of the Pentagon was assigned as their liaison. Darkness Rising, Part 2
Starscream built his space bridge to bring Decepticons to Earth, but Arcee and Cliffjumper sabotaged it; only Starscream came through. On Earth, Starscream rendezvoused with Breakdown to assault the two saboteurs, but Optimus and Bumblebee rescued them. Returning to base via a GroundBridge, Optimus informed Cliffjumper more Autobots were gathering, and the battle had only begun. Transformers: Prime The Autobots would covertly watch for Decepticons, while the 'cons covertly mined energon. Darkness Rising, Part 2
The Covenant of Primus tells of an eternal conflict caused when certain planets come into alignment. The Autobots figured out that Earth was the planet that was prophesied as chaotically formed, as did Megatron. During Optimus Prime's one-on-one battle with Megatron, the volcano setting erupted with Dark Energon, right when the planetary alignment as predicted came to pass. One Shall Fall Earthquakes and tornadoes hit across the planet right after the volcanic event. It was soon determined that this weather phenomena was caused by the awakening of Unicron. Optimus Prime theorized that after Unicron was defeated by the thirteen original Primes, his dormant form collected space matter, which eventually formed into the planet Earth. Optimus Prime also theorized that Unicron became formless during that time. At least, he hoped Unicron became formless. Otherwise, if he woke up and stretched, KAPOW! Earth would poof to dust. One Shall Rise, Part 1 The strange weather events ended when Optimus Prime used the Matrix of Leadership to force Unicron into stasis. One Shall Rise, Part 3
After activating the Omega Lock, Megatron directed a shaft of energy through a space bridge, striking Earth near Jasper and creating a huge Cybertronian fortress. Agent Fowler had the town evacuated as a result. Optimus used the Star Saber to destroy the Omega Lock, saving Earth in the process. However, when the Decepticons returned to Earth, Megatron dubbed this fortress New Kaon before proceeding to destroy the nearby Autobot base. Darkest Hour
When human military forces moved in, Megatron used the fortress's fusion cannons to devastate both them and most of Jasper. He had also by that time decided to call the fortress Darkmount. The Decepticons moved in shortly afterward. Darkmount, NV Smokescreen infiltrated the base using the phase shifter in an attempt to find the Forge of Solus Prime, which turned out to be stored aboard the Nemesis. Prey
Once he arrived on Earth and learned of the situation, Ultra Magnus planned a mission to neutralize Darkmount in tandem with Earth's military. Despite drawing off a large portion of the Decepticon forces, the remnants of Team Prime were eventually overwhelmed. Fortunately, the timely arrival of Optimus Prime, recently upgraded, allowed them to turn the tide and disable the fusion cannons, allowing Fowler and his fighter squadron to bring the citadel down. Rebellion
After discovering how to synthesize more cybermatter, Evolution Megatron attempted to rebuild the Omega Lock so he could cyberform Earth. Minus One Though he came close to accomplishing this, he was ultimately killed in the final battle of the Great War. The Autobots used the Omega Lock to revive Cybertron with Ratchet choosing to stay behind on Earth. Deadlock He was soon called back to Cybertron so he could provide medical treatment to Ultra Magnus, Predacons Rising and afterwards elected to remain on his homeworld to aid in its reconstruction. Decepticon Island (Part 1)
Many years later, the Autobot prison ship Alchemor crashed on Earth. The ghost of Optimus Prime told Bumblebee to assemble a new team to hunt down the escaped Decepticon prisoners. Pilot (Part 1) After the High Council had detected the Alchemor's distress signal, they sent Jazz to investigate. Can You Dig It? The Council responded to Jazz's report by placing a bounty on Bumblebee's head for the illegal usage of a Space Bridge and sent bounty hunters after him. Hunting Season
Once the Alchemor prisoners had been rounded up, Optimus Prime took them off Earth, Decepticon Island (Part 2) only to return when Starscream returned to Earth in his hunt for the Weaponizer Mini-Cons. Mini-Con Madness After the Seeker's defeat, Optimus took him back to Cybertron to stand trial. Worthy
Optimus's investigations on Cybertron revealed to him that the High Council was planning to invade Earth. As he was too recognizable, he sent the Bee Team to Cybertron while his "All-Stars" fought the initial invasion force. Enemy of My Enemy After the invasion was thwarted and the High Council were revealed to be disguised Decepticons, the Bee Team opted to return to Earth, feeling more at home there then on Cybertron, now functioning both as its protectors and Cybertron's first ambassadors to the planet. The Mt. St. Hilary Amphitheater, the Autobot City Metroplex, the Ft. Max Forum, the Cobra Terrordrome, and Boulder Hill, all located on Planet Earth, were the first venues for the Knights of Unicron on their 2014 "Till All Are One" tour. Knights of Unicron
Transformers vs. G.I. Joe
Earth was one of many living planets spawned by Daiakuron and hid a robot form known as Atlas. The War Never Ends Under Megatron's control, Cybertron was made to collide with Earth, Pax Megatronus which was presumed destroyed by those on Cybertron when space dust and debris covered the metallic world. Earth: R.I.P. Fortunately, Earth was later revealed to have survived relatively unscathed, the collision having "only" blown a huge crater in the Atlantic Ocean. This crater turned into a new continent, while the debris knocked loose from the planet formed a second moon dubbed Luna Secundus. When Cybertron/Primus threatened the sun next, G.I. Joe activated the "Atlas Protocol", transforming Earth into Atlas so that he could stop Primus. After the war was won, Atlas returned to his Earth form. The War Never Ends

Beast Wars: Uprising
Earth suffered badly during the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons; their destructive battles saw several cities and entire regions obliterated by orbital bombardments, human nuclear strikes, and collateral damage from robot wars. [1]
At some point during or after the 21st century, the Swarm threatened to destroy the Earth. The planet was spared destruction through the efforts of Optimus Prime who sacrificed both his life and the Matrix of Leadership to purify the entity. The native population wasn't grateful in the slightest. Book of Logos
By the 24th century, a repaired Earth had become the capital of the utopian Human Confederacy. Micro-Aggressions Humans quantum locked Earth to prevent any future Cybertronian incursions. Intersectionality Returning to her dimension of origin from a distant universe, Blackarachnia attempted to reach Earth but was dragged off-course and crash-landed on the dystopian Cybertron of her birth. During his time in the Oracle, Overshoot experienced a vision of Earth and Cybertron orbiting the same star. The Oracle prophesied a time when Earth and Cybertron would stand together against a common threat, and, later, a time when the two diametrically opposed planets would merge into a single technorganic world. There are several divergent timelines where the presence of other Transformers or different strategies undertaken altered the entire pattern of events.
Some have the same basic outcome, but with greater and more wide-ranging devastation to America and greater (but futile) resistance by Sector Seven. At least one resulted in not only wider destruction but in complete Decepticon victory.
In the most severe divergence, the rogue Decepticon general Mainframe reached Earth before the Autobots and established an army and base at the Arctic. He began taking out every Autobot agent arriving on Earth, whilst searching for the AllSpark, and eventually began sweeping the Earth with large numbers of drone units. He was eventually defeated by the Earthbound Chevy Autobots unit; the impact this had on Starscream's attempts to gain the AllSpark, not to mention Earth itself, are unknown.

With Cybertron dying, the Cybertronian race was on the search for a new hope. The Autobots were looking for a new home, while the Decepticons (Shockwave in particular) sought a new world in order to plunder its resources and use them to repair their own damaged planet. Shockwave discovered Earth (an outdated image of it, anyway) in an ancient map room and had Megatron set a course for it. Cliffjumper later discovered the planet for himself during a mission into the Sea of Rust. When Grimlock damaged the space bridge, both factions soon raced to the collapsing portal to Earth. A fierce battle broke out between the Ark and the Nemesis, and both ships were haphazardly sucked into the vortex. It is unknown if either ship made it to Earth, let alone survive the space bridge's collapse. Fall of Cybertron
