The Big Bang occurs and the universe is born through the power of Zodiac.[1]
12,000,000,000 years ago

The galaxy is born. The alien scientist Primacron is born soon after. Primacron creates a sentient, planet-sized robot life form called Unicron that feeds on mechanical planets and robot life forms, but it rebels against him, injuring the scientist. Primacron's Assistant, the Oracle, flees. The Oracle later reaches a desolate planet in the center of the galaxy and changes it into a verdant world. In the far future, the Oracle senses that Primacron will create Tornedron, which can absorb all energy. To battle this menace, the Oracle summons Grimlock and other beast Transformers from the future to tell them how to destroy the threat.[2] Call of the Primitives

The conquering Quintessons immigrate to the Oracle's green planet. There, they obtain the Oracle's shell, the Matrix of Leadership. The Oracle, who has the ability to give robots life, is turned into the ultra computer Vector Sigma.[3] His safety key has the power to make organic life into machines, The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1 and is used by the Quintessons to transform his world into the machine planet Cybertron. On the planet, the Quintessons attempt to create Trans-Organics as a fusion between robotic and organic life, but fail and seal them up deep within the planet. The Dweller in the Depths
Not deterred by the Trans-Organic failure, the Quintessons mass-produce civilian and military robot life forms, the ancestors of the Autobots and Decepticons, as slaves. The first of these is named A3. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4
11,000,000 years ago

The Quintesson that would later be known as the Seeker, tries to convince the other Quintessons of the potential in their slave robots. All he receives is mockery. Still afraid of the inevitable rebellion, he flees Cybertron and dedicates himself to gathering the entirety of information in the Universe. He eventually becomes the Seeker, a god-like entity made of data. True Value of Treasure
True to the Seeker's predictions, the intelligent robots of Cybertron develop emotions and revolt, with A3 as their leader. They chase the Quintessons from the planet and the Golden Age of Cybertron begins. The species, however, would be split into two—the military Decepticons and the civilian Autobots. The two factions declare war against each other, beginning the Great War. The Autobots, lacking combat capabilities, are massacred, forcing many to flee Cybertron. The Matrix, acquired from the Quintessons, is passed on as a symbol of Autobot leadership. The Matrix bearers' memory and wisdom are collected within it. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4 The Matrix also accomplishes another function: it helps prevent the Decepticons from using Vector Sigma to create more troops. The Mystery of Planet Master As the War rages on, the Autobots develop technology allowing them to transform their bodies. Several centuries later, the Decepticons gain the same technology. The species becomes the "Transformers". Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4

Megatron is built by the Constructicons deep within Cybertron. The new robot becomes the Emperor of Destruction, leading the Decepticons in the Great War and succeeding in killing the Autobot leader, Sentinel Prime. Sentinel Prime's Matrix falls into the hands of Alpha Trion, formerly A3, for safekeeping till the next Autobot leader emerges. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4 The new Supreme Commander soon arises when cargo hauler Orion Pax is badly injured by Megatron and, through Alpha Trion's aid, is reborn as Commander Optimus Prime, bearer of the Matrix. The two legendary leaders intensify the everlasting war. The Aerialbots, having travelled back from 1985, participate in those events before returning to the future. Amid those events, Orion's girlfriend, Ariel, is also injured and rebuilt into Elita One, later leader of the Female Autobots. War Dawn
Crystal City is built by the Constructicons and guarded by the Guardian robot Omega Supreme, who befriends the builders. This peaceful friendship would end when Megatron used the Robo-Smasher on his builders, converting them into Decepticons. Convincing Omega Supreme to leave his post, the Constructicons destroy Crystal City. Full of anger, Omega hunts down his former friends and attempts to reverse their reprogramming, but is unsuccessful. The Constructicons are rebuilt to be able to combine into Devastator. Devastator tries to have the Robo-Smasher brainwash Omega Supreme, but the Autobot destroys the device before it can do irreversible damage. The Secret of Omega Supreme
As the War rages on, Cyberdroids, who lack the ability to transform, flee Cybertron and search for a new home. Desertion of the Dinobots, Part 2 Some settle on Paradron. Fight or Flee On Antilla, the Thirteenth Legion showcase their presence by creating a giant Autobot symbol on the planetary surface that is visible from space. They create the Lightning Bug weapon and much other advanced technology, but all die when a meteor shower brings Cosmic Rust. Cosmic Rust

According to Giga, the God Messenger Devil Z and the Godmaster entity come to Earth. Careering to the ground, Godmaster breaks into eight unrefined transtectors and falls into dormancy, with the largest component falling to the bottom of the sea. This component, along with two others, would be later acquired by Devil Z. A Strange Friendship: Cancer and Minerva

Sick of the War, a group of Transformers led by Fortress escape Cybertron in search of a new haven. Unfortunately, they crash on the desolate planet Master, The Mystery of Planet Master where they suffer to survive in the harsh environment. Their efforts result in the creation of Headmaster transtectors. The Four-Million-Year-Old Veil of Mystery Further inspiration comes in the form of the starship Brave Maximus, which had been traveling through time and crashed on Master. Fortress uses the gigantic Transformer to refine his Headmaster theory and builds the massive Battleship Maximus. Kiss Players radio drama #48
As the resources on Cybertron dry up thanks to the never-ending War, an Autobot space exploration team led by Optimus Prime boards the Ark. They are pursued by the Megatron-led Decepticons aboard the Nemesis. Most of the Nemesis crew aboard the Ark, but, in the chaos, both ships are pulled in by Earth's gravity. The Ark crashes into Mount St. Hilary and the Transformers aboard enter a long period of stasis lock. In Megatron's absence, Shockwave was appointed steward of Cybertron. This state of affairs did not change much in the following four million years. More than Meets the Eye, Part 1 During the Ark's launch, the Female Autobots were assumed destroyed, but in actuality survived and formed an underground resistance group. The Search for Alpha Trion
3,000,000 years ago

Millennia after the Ark crash, the descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons—Maximals and Predacons—come from the future via transwarp technology and crash onto Earth. To survive in the energon-rich atmosphere, the crews of both ships scan the animals of Earth in order to transform into them. None of the Maximals and Predacons are aware of where they have crashed, calling the planet "Energoa". Only Megatron knows the truth, preemptively blowing up the entrance to the Ark at Mount St. Hilary. The Agenda (Part III) For now, he is simply content with gathering the ubiquitous energon for conquering Cybertron. Dinobot is kicked out of the Predacons Beast Wars (Part 1) and reservedly joins the Maximals. The Beast Wars begin. Beast Wars (Part 2) Both forces are bolstered by Maximal protoforms in stasis pods ejected before the Axalon crashed. The new warriors include the Maximals Tigatron Fallen Comrades and Airazor; The Spark and the Predacons Blackarachnia Double Jeopardy and Inferno. Spider's Game The Maximals' peers on Cybertron send out probes to search for the Axalon, but the Maximals' attempt to contact a nearby probe is foiled by the Predacons. The Probe
The Beast Wars receive an unusual guest when the immortal spark of Starscream, who died in 2005, crosses time and space to reach Earth. He possesses Waspinator and attempts to take over, but fails. He returns to being disembodied spark and vanishes into the far reaches of time and space. Possession Further strange visitors arrive in the Beast Wars, including Cohrada and Archadis from a future time. Cohrada Chapter The strangest comes when vehicular Autobots and Decepticons from another universe arrive right in the middle of a ongoing battle between the Maximals and the Predacons. The Decepticons and Autobots ally themselves with the expected factions. Gimlet from another time also arrives and joins with the Predacons. Tigatron Chapter His former teammate, Motorarm, soon follows, as did the Megatron of the Decepticons. The combined Maximal/Autobot and Predacon/Decepticon forces face off against each other in dual energy attacks. Motorarm Chapter The universe- and time-displaced combatants are presumably brought back to their proper places. At some point, unbeknownst to anybody, the invisible Atari Hitotonari and Star Dust try to acquire a fragment of the Allspark—in actuality Angolmois—from Optimus Primal. It is obtained through Atari kissing the Maximal. Their task done, the Kiss Player and the Sparkbot jump to when Primal possesses his Transmetal form. Sparkbots Volume 2

The Two Leaders Optimus Primal follows his foe, Fight! The Group of the Strongest Commanders! The New Battle Begins! Enter the War! Optimus Primal and the two eventually return to Energoa.
The Beast Wars are discovered to be taking place in a massive "experiment" by mysterious aliens calling themselves the Vok. Their devices on the planet include the Standing Stones Chain of Command and Brigadoon. The Trigger, Part 1 The Trigger, Part 2 Inferno finds and brings an Golden Disk of Vok origin to Megatron. Before the Storm Their experiment reaches a climax when they deem the Maximals and the Predacons to have contaminated the planet and activate the Planet Buster to destroy the planet's surface, first detonating much of the energon on Earth. Optimus Primal destroys the device before it can scorch the Earth, but Megatron's machinations assure that Primal is also destroyed in the process. Other Voices, Part 2 From the explosion, a far-reaching quantum surge is generated that fundamentally alters the physiology of some Beast Warriors, creating Transmetals. Aftermath The quantum surge also creates the Fuzors Silverbolt and Quickstrike from damaged stasis pods. Coming of the Fuzors (Part 1) Through Rhinox's efforts at pulling his spark out of the Matrix, Optimus Primal is resurrected in a Transmetal body. Coming of the Fuzors (Part 2)
Dinobot, realizing the true nature of Energoa as Earth, sneaks into the Predacon base, pilfers the Vok and Voyager Golden Disks, and hides them. Coming of the Fuzors (Part 1) Almost unknown to anybody, Blackarachnia downloads a backup copy of the Voyager Golden Disk into herself and destroys all other copies. Coming of the Fuzors (Part 2) When Dinobot has a change of heart and decides to join the Predacons, he is forced to return the Disks to Megatron. Dinobot again defects, but the Disks remain with Megatron. Maximal, No More Tigatron and Airazor, on scout patrol, inadvertently discover the Metal Hunter, another one of the Vok's installations on Earth, and are abducted into the Vok's clutches. Other Visits (Part 1) The Vok Disk would soon find use in allowing Megatron to control the Metal Hunter, but Rattrap and Tarantulas's interference destroys the structure, along with the Vok Disk. Other Visits (Part 2) Soon after, the deadly secret of the Axalon's mission is revealed when Protoform X, his stasis pod having crashed thanks to the planet buster, regains consciousness. Megatron, ripping part of his spark out, makes the sadistic titan his slave. Bad Spark Somewhere around this time, Atari Hitotonari arrives along with Star Dust to kiss Optimus Primal's Transmetal form to acquire the second fragment of the "Allspark". The two then shift into a later time where Optimus Primal possesses his Optimus Prime-mutated Transmetal form. Sparkbots Volume 2

In the midst of the Beast Wars, humanity's ancestors evolve. Megatron, recognizing the influence that humans will have on Transformer affairs, tries to exterminate their ancestors before they leave their secluded valley home. Dinobot, by himself, stops the Predacon onslaught with his life. The Voyager Golden Disk is destroyed in the process, Code of Hero but Megatron saves a shard. The Agenda (Part 2)
Arriving from the same time as the Beast Warriors in a transwarp cruiser, Covert Agent Ravage of the Predacon Secret Police professes to be there only to arrest Megatron, but is in actuality under orders by the Tripredacus Council to kill all witnesses. The Agenda (Part 1) The captured Megatron manages to persuade Ravage to his side with a recording of his familiar Megatron] on the Golden Disk shark he saved. The Agenda (Part 2) Despite the power of his transwarp cruiser, Ravage is killed when the Maximals cause the ship to crash. The Agenda (Part III) A copy of his personality programming is preserved in the flight recorder. Ghosts of the Past Out of options, Megatron ambushes Silverbolt and Blackarachnia, who were investigating Mount St. Hilary and discovered the Ark. Using Blackarachnia's datatrax from the Golden Disk, Megatron accesses the Ark and blasts Optimus Prime's head in an attempt to change history to one more preferable to the Decepticons and Predacons. As a result, a timestorm occurs. The Agenda (Part III) To Megatron's disappointment, the Maximals repair the damaged Autobot leader. As part of the repair, Optimus Primal safeguards the legendary Transformer's spark in his body; in the process, his body metamorphoses into a gigantic and more powerful form. While their foes are distracted, the Predacons sink the Axalon and the Maximals are forced to set up base in Mount St. Hilary. Turned from the Predacons, Blackarachnia joins the Maximals. Optimal Situation
For the third and final time, Atari Hitotonari, accompanied by Star Dust, kisses Optimus Primal in his powered form to acquire the final of his fragments of the "Allspark". Before the girl could celebrate, the fragments were snatched away by a mysterious force. Sparkbots Volume 2
Depth Charge, having no faith in Primal's ability to dispose of Protoform X, follows X's signature and is sucked into a temporal anomaly, becoming Transmetallized in the process and ending up on prehistoric Earth along with Primal's crew. X, now Rampage, made his stay permanent by destroying his ship. Deep Metal Using technology acquired from the Vok, Megatron created new beings to bolster his forces, including the Cyber raptors Cutting Edge and a Transmetal 2 clone of Dinobot with Rampage's spark fragment. Feral Scream Part 1 Through an accident, Cheetor also becomes a Transmetal 2. Feral Scream Part 2 Blackarachnia intentionally triggers the same process on herself, becoming a full-fledged Maximal in the process. Crossing the Rubicon Desiring an upgrade for himself, Megatron concocts a plan to enter the Ark and take the original Megatron's spark into himself. Tarantulas tries to betray Megatron and destroy the Ark, but he fails when Megatron rises from the lava in a new form with a dragon mode and Blackarachnia stops the Ark's self-destruct. Master Blaster Megatron's new body, however, is of little help when the Vok deem him guilty of interfering with the timestream and sentence him to death. The aliens combine the abducted bodies of Tigatron and Airazor into a new warrior, Tigerhawk, and use him as their emissary to Earth. Just as Tigerhawk is about to deliver the killing blow to Megatron, he is paralyzed by Tarantulas, who has plans for the Transformer and the Vok inside him. His plans are foiled by Cheetor and the Predacon dies along with the Vok. The wayward sparks of Tigatron and Airazor find their rightful places in Tigerhawk. Other Victories
Searching the remains of the dead Tarantulas's lair, Megatron finds the Nemesis and activates it, setting his sights on destroying the protohumans and the Ark. In his rampage, he kills Inferno, Quickstrike, and Tigerhawk. Rampage and Depth Charge have their final confrontation on the ocean bottom, killing each other. Nemesis Part 1 Optimus Primal flies into the gigantic ship and tries to stop his power-mad nemesis, but the Predacon's power is too much for him to handle. Dinobot, having a change of heart brought on by the destruction of Rampage's spark half, relays the loaction of a hidden Autobot shuttle in the Ark to the Maximals. Rhinox flies it through the bridge of the Nemesis, catching Megatron on the windshield. The Nemesis crashes off into the horizon, with Dinobot in it. The Beast Wars over, the Maximals take off in the Autobot shuttle back to their time with Megatron tied on the side of the shuttle. Waspinator is left behind and rules over the protohumans, getting his happy ending. Nemesis Part 2
That is, till the protohumans got sick of him and catapulted him away with a tree. After being overthrown, he began a long journey to Cybertron. Revelations Part I: Discovery

During the fight, six Cyberdroid capsules are shocked, splitting into two, creating Sixbuilder and Decepticon Sixbuilder. Sixbuilder the Ill-Fated Warrior!?
The Decepticon Micromasters are later found digging up the base of Mount St. Hilary and scared away by Sixtrain Red Mode. The Autobots do some digging of their own and find a scrap of metal with the Predacon symbol on it. The Micromasters do not know the true significance of the symbol, but they realize it means Transformers have been on Earth before them. (Little do they know...) Sixtrain! Activate Red Mode!! The Autobots set up Metrobase to defend the site. Further digging reveals a pod, and plasma released from the pod opens a dimensional rift, allowing the Multiforce to arrive from 2025. Back on Cybertron, Shockwave is finally made aware of the Female Autobots when Moonracer trips an alarm during one of their energon raids. After capturing Elita One, Megatron informs Optimus Prime that he has Elita One and Optimus rushes off to save her. In the rescue, Elita uses her power to stop time, which drains her life force. Optimus, to save her, finds the whereabouts of Alpha Trion and brings her to the old Transformer. Trion, being the creator of both robots, knows what to do and has Prime perform a power transfusion to heal Elita. The Search for Alpha Trion
Frustrated with constant Decepticon failure, Megatron has his troops gather five automobiles and uses Cybertronian technology to convert them into the Stunticons. However, he needs access to the Vector Sigma supercomputer to grant his new warriors life. On Cybertron, Shockwave discovers the location of the computer and Soundwave steals the Key to Vector Sigma from Alpha Trion. Using the Key, Megatron commands Vector Sigma bless the Sunticons with life. The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 1 To counter the Sunticons, the Autobots construct the Aerialbots out of old drone rockets. As they lack the Key, Alpha Trion combines his life with Vector Sigma and breathes life into the jet Autobots. The new Autobot warriors help stop Megatron's plan to convert Earth into a metallic planet with the Key. The Key to Vector Sigma, Part 2 The Aerialbots become heavily involved in the next two adventures, starting with a Decepticon plot to use a Giant Purple Griffin for... something in Prince Jumal's nation Aerial Assault and later being transported by the Decepticons using the Kronosphere to Cybertron's past. The Autobots use the machine to have their comrades return. War Dawn
At some point, Megatron decides to hunt down the power core of the weather satellite that crashed millions of years ago and scours the Galata Valley for it. Finding it inside the Pearl of Bahoudin, he activates it and the power core causes weather disasters that threaten the planet. Content to let the power core do all the world, the Decepticons retreat, allowing Bumblebee to destroy the power core with a well-aimed shot. Trans-Europe Express Hunting down another weapon, Megatron comes across Antilla, a planet with a gigantic Autobot symbol visible from space. Cosmic Ruse Sick of Starscream after his latest betrayal, Megatron has the whiny Transformer exiled to the island of Guadalcanal. There, the Seeker comes across abandoned vehicles from World War II (which also included a space shuttle). Planning to create his own army, Starscream takes the personality components of five rengenade Decepticons from the Decepticon Detention Center on Cybertron and inserts them into the World War II vehicles. The Combaticons are reborn and forced to do Starscream's will. Despite their combined form as Bruticus, Starscream and his "army" are eventually defeated and again exiled, this time to a desolate asteroid. Starscream's Brigade The Combaticons, angry with their exile, fly off to exact revenge on both Cybertron and Earth. Seizing control of the space bridge on Cybertron, they set Earth on a collision course with the Sun. Together, the Autobots and the Decepticons thwart the Combaticons' operation and the Combaticons are reprogrammed to serve Megatron. The Revenge of Bruticus
The Combaticons still can't seem to stay of trouble, as while attacking a human city, they are blasted to pieces by Defensor, a previously unseen participant of the war. Swindle, the only survivor of the attack, sells the Combaticon parts to El Presidente; the unsellable parts are dumped in a junkyard. There, the personality component of Brawl is found by three human students, Martin, Roland, and Elise Presser, and used to create the robot B.O.T.. Thanks to their poor choice of robot parts, B.O.T. goes berserk. Under threat by Megatron, Swindle recovers all of the parts of the Combaticons, including Brawl's personality component. B.O.T. still finds meaning in its sad existence when it gives its life to destroy the Decepticons' latest nonsensical weapon. B.O.T.

Knowing that Decepticon defeat was more than a mere possibility, Megatron took the Golden Disk contained in the Voyager probe that was launched from Earth in 1977. On the Disk, he inscribed a message to future adherents of the Decepticon cause, giving directions for changing history and destroying Optimus Prime on the Ark in the past if the Decepticons would ever meet defeat in the Great War. The Battle of Star Gate begins. Formally allying themselves with the United State government, the Autobots supply technology to make a orbiting warp gate platform called the Trigger. Their alliance is later formally announced to much fanfare. Unsurprisingly, the Trigger attracts the attention of the Decepticons, and a traitor in the crew serves up the Trigger on a silver platter. They are stopped by a crewman and Optimus Prime before they can exploit the Trigger. With this attack, the Autobots formally announce the existence of the Decepticons to the world at large. First Contact
Further human-Autobot cooperation results in the C-X drones made in the image of Optimus Prime. Starscream's ghost, come from the future seeking to destroy Megatron, interferes with the C-X, causing it to go berserk, but the drone is subdued. Done with messing with the Autobots, Starscream's ghost goes to meet the present Starscream. Divided Views The future Starscream later uses the Trigger to materialize in front of the other Transformers, Activation and the two Starscreams abscond with a stock of energon cubes to the Trigger. The future Starscream uses the energon to combine with his past self and the Trigger to assume a monstrous form with control over warp gates. Through the power of both Megatron and Optimus Prime, the threat is dissipated, but the Transformers involved are lost in the chaos and do not emerge till years later. The Stargate Battles

He rids Earth of Decepticons. The Autobots use the last of the solitarium to return the time-lost Autobots and the captured Decepticons to their original eras.[3]

The Unicron War begins as Unicron approaches Cybertron to destroy the Matrix, his sole weakness. The Battle of Autobot City takes place, and Optimus Prime dies from wounds inflicted by Megatron. The Matrix is passed onto Ultra Magnus. The damaged Megatron is summarily thrown out of Astrotrain by the treacherous Starscream into space, where the fallen Decepticon leader meets Unicron. The World-Devourer grants Megatron a new existence as Galvatron and new troops from the other disposed Decepticons. Galvatron is assigned the task of destroying the Matrix, but the Decepticon makes a pit stop on Cybertron to destroy Starscream. His spark, however, is immortal and lives on in a disembodied state.
Galvatron attacks Autobot City, forcing the Autobots to split into groups and retreat in different directions, having adventures on Quintessa and Junk, meeting the Junkions and the Quintessons. Galvatron obtains the Matrix from Ultra Magnus and attempts to use it on Unicron, but he is unable to release its power and only angers Unicron enough to attempt to destroy Cybertron. Unicron's servants, the Sparkbots, secretly alter Galvatron's trajectory so that he will crash onto Earth. Kiss Players radio drama #51
True to the Sparkabots' intention, Galvatron plummets onto Earth, Tokyo in specific. His Unicronian cells are scattered in the crash and multiply using humans and machines as hosts. The machines become Legion and the humans become Kiss Players.[3] Reeling from the disaster, humans develop antipathy towards Transfomers, especially in Japan. To alleviate discomfort, key aid groups and Autobots work on rescue operations in Tokyo.[3] One of them uses the sentient metal developed by NASA to become Pepsi Convoy and soothe the thirst of the people of Japan by shilling Pepsi.[6][3]

But despite the Autobots' best efforts, the Japanese hatred of Transformers continues and spreads to the rest of the world. A movement is formulated to force Transformers off Earth, with the Tokyo E.D.C. leading the charge. The Concurrence is believed to be behind the intensifying of anti-Transformer sentiment, but evidence is not forthcoming. The existence of Kiss Players becomes known to the E.D.C. and the mutated humans in Japan are collected by the organization. With them and the Autoroopers, the E.D.C. begins work on ridding the planet of Cybertronians. To further remove and keep Transformers away, an anti-electron field developed by the E.D.C. covers the planet's surface. It lowers the life functions of Transformers and so they are driven off.[3] Despairing over having caused Galvatron's crash and the following events, Rodimus Prime gives Ultra Magnus the Matrix and Autobot leadership. Rodimus Prime regresses back to Hot Rod. A Big Catch Tonight?! Nevertheless, some civilians, such as Marissa Faireborn hold on to hope, opposing the E.D.C. and forming a restiance movement.[3]
