  • Wheeljack lists off the Sharkticons, Predacons, and Terrorcons as Quintesson attempts at creating Transformers without the use of Vector Sigma. This is the first time the Terrorcons have been identified as Quintesson creations, perhaps in reference to their unexplained cooperation with the aliens in "Money Is Everything".
  • This notion would be expanded upon in "Abominus comic 1".

  • The enhanced Cyberjets are based on figures exhibited at Tokyo Toy Show 1995 (photo at right).
  • Crystal Killer Fish is an exclusive clear-plastic version of the Killer Fish toy, available only in a box set and as a store contest prize. This character is an ancient Beastformer and servant of the Three Wise Ones, thus his deference to them (and a deep cut reference indeed).
  • The Three Wise Ones' robot forms are repurposed Power of the Primes Prime Masters: the Wise One of Fire is Micronus, the Wise One of Water is Prima Prime, and the Wise One of Wood is Nexus Prime.
  • Generation 2 Dreadwing utilizes one of the additional modes displayed on the back of the Japanese toys' packaging, called the "Dread Roadblock Mode".
  • While not stated outright, Nemesis having been commissioned by Galvatron II may imply that Nemesis is a form of Warworld.
