Beast Wars: Uprising is unique in the constellation of Transformers continuites in that its massive cast is composed almost entirely of character designs are based on existing toys/characters with new color schemes, commonly referred to as virtual redecoes.
A respectable chunk of the Uprising cast is nonetheless composed of real toys originally from other Transformers toylines that have been repurposed by official fiction as Uprising characters.
Given that this story is allegorical in its nature, surging back and forward through time, it is nearly impossible to give a traditional cast list. As such, this list is our best attempt at deciphering it, and may not be fully accurate.

The humble handful of toys created with the explicit intent of tying into the Uprising storyline were released through Fun Publications' Transformers Collector's Club label and the 2015 and 2016 Botcon conventions.
