Beast Wars: Uprising is unique in the constellation of Transformers continuites in that its massive cast is composed almost entirely of character designs that are based on existing toys/characters with new color schemes, commonly referred to as "virtual" redecos.
A respectable chunk of the Uprising cast is nonetheless composed of real toys originally from other Transformers toylines that have been repurposed by official fiction as Uprising characters.
We will attempt to chronicle both.
